We had past negative experiences with contractors so we were hesitant to start another project but our bathroom really need a refresh. The team at CCKB was absolutely amazing from start to finish. They respected my concerns, my budget, and my home... even with all the animals in it. Communication was amazing as they knew I was nervous about the process and they always followed through with what they said they would do. They are more expensive than others but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for. Worth every cent. Thank you for our new bathroom!

We were living out of the country while we started the planning phase to remodel our kitchen. The communication with CCKB was always professional and focused on our needs. Part of the construction happened while we are not in town and the kitchen was completed shortly after we moved back to Corvallis. We really like our new kitchen and appreciate the mostly good communication and good workmanship.

We have been in our new home for 5 months and we are still pinching ourselves. CCKB worked with us throughout the design/build process to provide our dream home. The design took longer than we expected, but the attention to detail and thoroughness helped us achieve our goals. The toughest part was waiting for engineering and city requirements. The quality of the home is like nothing we've ever had. It is there whether it's behind the walls or what you can see. During the building process CCKB responded to our every question and kept us informed about schedule and progress. Since we moved in, CCKB continues to be responsive to our few warranty items. They stand behind their product. We couldn’t be happier with our choice.

CCKB remodeled our kitchen and we are very happy with the result. The process was made easy because they were organized, adhered to a schedule, and provided clear communication. The design team understood our vision, offered good ideas, and made the materials selection process manageable. The employees and subcontractors were courteous and professional. We are pleased with the professionalism and workmanship of everyone involved with this project.

We just had both of our bathrooms remodeled. We were pleased with the level of personal attention, professionalism, responsiveness, project management, project delivery, budget consciousness, and overall handholding from beginning to end. Everyone involved understood how important this was to us in spite of our work hardly being a very large project. We never felt as if our needs weren’t the most important concerns they had.

Our kitchen remodel was a design challenge and a carpentry horror! But CCKB was able to overcome all the challenges and their subcontractors were able to use their incredible craftsmanship skills to create our dream kitchen. Their design and choice of materials made the remodel fit right into our 19th century house like it had always been there. The CCKB team came through with flying colors in both their cost estimates and and timelines. We can not even begin to describe how pleased we are with CCKB and will highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

Even with challenges of COVID supply chain, we were able to complete our kitchen and bathroom remodel with the materials that we really wanted and we are very pleased with the finished appearance and function of the remodeled areas. Ryan and Tinas Schweitzer were the general contractors for my new custom home construction, and I cannot praise them enough. Their competent planning kept problems with the construction to a minimum, but their response when problems did arise really set them apart from the many other contractors I have known and worked with. Ryan would correct the issues as soon as he became aware of them, without argument, and even when it meant extra time and money on his part. Tinsa gently and tactfully guided me away from my poor initial decisions about interior finishings, and it didn’t take long for me to recognize that I should just acquiesce to her excellent taste and judgement on these matters. Ryan’s and Tinsa’s competence and professionalism gave me a lovely home that has been a joy to me these past six years. In addition, their friendliness and absolute integrity made them a pleasure to know and to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone planning new construction or remodeling. You won’t be disappointed, and you will have the additional pleasure of getting to know two remarkable people.

We have remodeled several homes and had a home built over the last several years. We can honestly say that the remodel of our Philomath home by CCKB was the only home building project that we actually enjoyed. We are so pleased with the overall design creativity, workmanship, communication, and the online tracking of building cost and progress. We were also very pleased with the patience of Ryan, Tinsa and the build-team in handling our long wish list that had accumulated over 14 years of living in Oregon.

A couple of weeks after signing the papers for the remodel and making the financial commitment for the work, we found out that we were in store for an even bigger adventure-a cancer diagnosis. The CCKB team was so understanding and respectful of our situation; we all just went with the flow and got the job done.

After a year of successfully dealing with the cancer treatments and the home remodel, we are extremely happy to be done with both. We love our “forever home”. The overall design and quality of workmanship transformed a frumpy 1960’s ranch style house with a poor view of the surrounding area into a modern open concept home with spectacular views of Mary’s peak and the coastal range.

After starting to pursue our options in the area, we felt that CCKB best demonstrated a willingness to listen to our ideas and an ability to improve upon them with their knowledge and expertise. We shared the key things we were hoping for in the redesigned space, and all were incorporated into the final design. They added personal touches that also made it clear they paid attention to our needs and even how we used our existing space.

When it came to structural unknowns that were critical to the floor plan we hoped for (removing a wall), Ryan dedicated time to evaluating the issues and helped us to understand potential cost impacts. We chose to do some exploratory demo at our own cost prior to making any contract commitments, and Ryan took the time to come by again to see the areas in question and help further refine the contract to the most likely scenarios and costs.

Once we moved forward with the contract, they worked with us to build the schedule to accommodate keeping our laundry area/utility operational for as long as possible, which really helped to ease the complexities of living and working at home during a remodel (and pandemic!).

All of the staff were friendly and courteous, and questions were answered promptly. Holly and Jennifer helped to quickly adapt our desired finishes. The on site crew kept the construction areas organized and did high quality work. We were lucky to have Caleb supporting the job-- he kept us up to date on progress and schedule, and often went the extra mile when it came to getting the job done.

We wouldn't hesitate to call CCKB again for a future project.

Corvallis Custom Kitchen and Bath took us through every phase of our project from design through planning to implementation professionally and responsively. Every aspect of the complete remodel of two bathrooms was carried out on time and on budget, with extreme attention to every detail. Unknowns were revealed as walls came off, and each was dealt with competently and affordably. All subcontractors--paint, carpentry, tile, flooring, drywall, countertop and shower installers, etc., were cooperative, respectful, professional, friendly, and highly skilled. Design features, especially our special Mexican tile, were beautifully imagined and carried out. Construction supervisors communicated well and adapted to our needs. Corvallis Custom Kitchens and Baths Co. replaced the siding on our home & built 2 new decks. The level of care in demo, repairs, as well as design have been such a beautiful addition to our 74 year old home! Pretentious and rude - I called a couple of times to inquire about a bathroom remodel. They told me they don't consider any project under $30k. I just wanted a new tile shower, and thought that seemed like a high job limit. Representative was not helpful at all. Don't call them for "small" jobs. They will basically laugh at you.

I love my new bathroom. Tinsa came up with a great design and helped me choose the best options to keep it with the time period of the house. Ryan and Tinsa and Jennifer are wonderful! They're easy to work with and smart in the ways they think about getting the work done. They were creative in offering us solutions that we hadn't even thought of. The subcontractors they worked with, for our job, did an outstanding job. Also, we were on a tight schedule and not only did they get the job done on time for us, but they fit us into an already full schedule. They did exactly what we agreed to and were also flexible and helpful about tweaks needed along the way. We found them to be totally reliable and trustworthy. This was mostly done long distance! Our house was ready to move into when they said it would be. Very significantly, Ryan said he didn't want there to be a punch list after they were done, and there wasn't! So different from most any other contractor.

Tinsa, Ryan and the entire CCKB team were wonderful to work with. They immediately set my mind at ease on what initially felt like an overwhelming endeavor. They delivered quality construction on schedule and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions throughout the process. We love our beautiful new kitchen, hardwood floors, bathroom countertop, and stairs/hallway carpet.

My husband and I went to Corvallis kitchen and bath right before Christmas to look at countertops. The lady was so rude and literally ran us out the door. She got up from her desk looking annoyed we even walked in there. When we told her we are wanting quartz countertops and want the quartz to run up for the backsplash as well she said well we're not Home Depot and we just don't sell slabs to people. She literally wouldn't even let us look, we were mortified that a local business treats customers this way.

If you don't want walk in clients put on your door open by appointment only and if you want new build customers only then update the inside and outside of your business. First step remove the blue painters tape around the windows thats been there for years.

I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted when we first met. The plans and 3-D computer generated design of the master bath was spot on. I like this since you can see the space management and colors and textures all put together. The contractors they sent were the best. They always kept us involved with what they were doing that day. Absolutely top shelf work and all minor issues were addressed and resolved immediately. I can't wait to have them redo my kitchen.

Tinsa and Ryan did an amazing job at our house. We LOVE our new kitchen, bathroom, floors, skylight, ceiling lights, and utility sink. They did ALL this work in 7.5 week as promised. It was the most amazing experience working with them. In the design stage and choosing all the material and hardware, Tinsa learned me style quickly and then smoothly helped me choose all the right choices. We made almost 80% of our choices online and they all turn out just PERFECT! Clint and all the rest of the crew on the job site were super helpful and very professional. We have heard so many horror stories of remodeling, but we experienced the best. We highly recommend them. They are the best!

Our experience with Schweitzer Design and Build was absolutely amazing in every way. While our project wasn't huge in terms of scope or budget, they treated us like it was and it really made all the difference.

Not only was the communication transparent and easy, when questions or hurdles came up they were handled promptly and with great care to keep us informed. They kept the work site safe and as clean as possible, which made us so grateful. His team covered all the bases, even laid down paper, covered their shoes, and vacuumed daily when they were there. This was also all during the holiday season when life gets chaotic, but they were so easy to work with and accommodating.

They handled permitting and county guidelines with absolute professionalism, and it got a little complicated there but Ryan was perfectly calm and on top of it. He and Tinsa are a great team, who surround themselves with competent, kind, hard-working people on their teams. I would trust them in the future with any project, large or small. I can't say enough good about the terrific service and final product we received!
