We were very impressed with Cornerstone. They were extremely responsive, attentive, straightforward, and honest in their dealings. Marty was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the crew worked quickly but also did quality work. Their guys even handmade a cabinet, molding, etc to match what had to be torn out due to mold from the leak in our wall. Would absolutely recommend.

Cornerstone completed a remodel of our kitchen and did a terrific job. They did a quality job, in a short amount of time and at a reasonable cost. I definitely recommend them.

Cornerstone was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout our insurance claim process. They followed up and checked in often—treated us like friends. I couldn't have asked for more.

Absolutely the worst. If the insurance company hires them to give an estimate, DONT use them to do the job. I wouldn’t hire them to build a dog house.
I had a tree hit my back deck and screened in porch. It ended up being smaller than the original with a razor thin paint job. Caught them using used wood. At first they tried to say it was dirt. When I pointed out the “dirt” was actually paint, they half effort replaced it. All the boards have over cuts. Poor fitting and big gaps where board meets. Piece mealed the roof with scrap cuttings.
When you point out or question their shoddy methods, they pull of the job for a week or two and come back and do it again.
You have been warned.

I had a good experience with Cornerstone Restoration. Bryan was very professional and followed up on each phase of my bathroom renovation. He was prompt in communicating with my insurance company. I would highly recommend Cornerstone Restoration to anyone.

My experience with Cornerstone Restoration was excellent.
House struck by tornado in the a.m. of December 10th (12:15 am).
Later that same day the owner ofCornerstone actually came out to see the damage to our house and property. The next day we were woken up by men removing the downed trees, etc. off our damaged deck.
That was a good beginning to a process that lasted until early April.
Try to get "anybody" to work during the Holidays and you'll understand my anxiety with new roof, downspouts, gutters, deck, etc.
All in all these guys were professional in everything they did. Roberto, the sub on this job, was truly a godsend.
I would highly recommend Cornerstone Restoration!

Great experience, starting with estimator Kevin and the claim being submitted to Nationwide. Will followed him with the project start and completion. Great communication, no surprises, all went extremely well.

Marty and the team of contractors did great work on our restoration. They were very professional, personable, and responsive to our needs every step of the way--5 Stars!!

I had extensive water damage to my home from a flood. My insurance company recommended Cornerstone Restoration. As with any job of this magnitude it was not without challenges, however my project manager Brian actually became an advocate for me. They met the scope of work and were a partner and resource for other needs in my home which was an unexpected bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend them for restorative work. Even working with their partner companies for materials and supplies was a great experience. I am a total novice to this type of situation but Brian was very informative and patient with a thousand questions and helping me to understand the process. The finishing touches were suited to my tastes and commensurate with the flow of the house. I am very grateful to be home, comfortable and confident in the work product and services I received.

Very disappointed with this company! Will was supposed to get a full tarp on my roof which was confirmed before anyone started work on my home. Carlos came and when I returned home there were sand bags and ropes stretching around my house instead. This would have never happened in one of those high end neighborhoods. Sooooo unprofessional! I'm still waiting on them to make an appointment and correct there mistakes and secure my tarp correctly.

This company went above and beyond in getting my home repaired after extensive water damage. I had a major health procedure coming up and they made sure they got finished in time for me to come home and recover in my own home. They were responsive, caring and did excellent work.

I don't recommend using Cornerstone Restoration. As nicely as I can put it, we had a really bad experience. Several project managers assigned to us and each change came with several issues. We were going back and forth for a year on a bathroom remodel. I expressed frustration with the insurance adjuster and he took it personally. Very unprofessional. The project was finally completed, but it was a nightmare to get to that point.

Simply put, we had a bad experience and would never use them again.

This company was hired by our insurance company to redo our house after a fire. They were never professional about anything, they broke more than they fixed... when they hired the company that installed my smoke detector in my bedroom, someone left a note for me... the person installing my smoke detector left a note for me saying that he was only a tear older, and that hed like to meet me... however he didn't know how old I was unless he went through my stuff and snooped and found an old id of mine... he left his name and phone number and said that he wanted to meet me and go on a date... like seriously desperate enough to go through a young girls stuff to find a girlfriend or something... not to mention an invasion of privacy!...I reported him to the police and told our project manager Jose and as soon as Jose was notified he quit and found another job.... this company has got to be the worst... oh and they dreamed our electricity and messed that up too... not only do we not have power in most of the house, they didn't hook our ac back up to the house either and now we're in a house that has no ac and hardly any electricity

Horrible. Came to look at the roof and then never got back with me. Had to call multiple times to get any kind of response. We had a roof with a “5 year warranty” , but the first heavy rain, water poured from our ceiling. They claimed it was not their fault because it was an insurance claim and they do bare minimum. They would not stand by their work and fix the issue. Just horrible. Didn’t even try to work with me to fix it.

Gooding of fecal water on 2 levels of my home not cleaned properly debris left on my floors again tissue and dirty water. The wet mess was never fully dry. Dud not clean up and dispose of waste in my basement just let it drain onto my driveway. The repairs done to my flooring g already need to be fixed

I could not have had a better experience with our insurance restoration project. Highly recommend the good folks over at Cornerstone Restoration!

The guy that came out to do our estimate was not very polite. He only spent a few minutes at our house and wouldn’t show us a copy of our estimate that they sent to our insurance company. We hired them to do an estimate and possibly work for us for the home repairs. They were very evasive about the estimate when we asked questions about it. We chose to work with someone else who saw us as the customer. Do not use this place if recommended! We found out we have a right to choose our own contractor and went with that. This company was not professional at all.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We contacted this company to do an estimate only for home repairs. The guy who came out to do the estimate was at the house maybe 20 minutes. We told him we were just getting estimates, however, he contacted a buddy of his who is a field rep for our homeowners insurance and went ahead and had a check issued to Cornerstone. We told him we had chosen someone else to do our repairs and he still held on to the check. So we’ve had to wait an extra 2 weeks for the stop payment. Along with that he contracted our homeowners insurance and told them we wanted to do upgrades and told them to make sure our chosen contractor isn’t doing upgrades for us!!?! Basically he was upset because we chose to work with someone else. They should have never requested funds to be sent to them in the first place! Do NOT get involved with this company. They are difficult and have no interest in what the customer wants!! They’re only interest is themselves. They can’t believe we just don’t want to work with them so they’re still trying to get involved in our claim when they literally didn’t do any work on the home and we never hired them to begin with!

Very disrespectful to the transitional neighborhood , they left a dumpster --a huge rusty dumpster on the street for 6 months ,
They left the dumpster loooonnnnnggg after the demo was done .

Not only was it ugly and and eyesore but every contractor in the area was dumping their stuff in it . Late night dumps . And old tires and mattresses , I called to inform the company ,
Three weeks later when some one dumped a dead animal in it and in Alabama 90 degree weather you can imagine the stench ,

When I called the company they acted like it was no big deal .

The contractor told me to send all complaints to him .. Well maybe if he was on the location like he should have been the smell of death would change his arrogant attitude .

Cornerstone represents themselves as a Christian based organization. I have been told if you are a good person you do not have to say you are a good person your actions show this. The same with being a Christian you do not have to broadcast it, your actions will show. Cornerstone is the most unprofessional business I have dealt with in a while. While they bend rules to make insurance claims, they do not pay their employee's nor their vendors in a appropriately timely manner. Cornerstone also uses illegal aliens because they can take advantage of their lack of knowledge when it comes to tax ID #'s. In my opinion not only is unprofessional, fraudulent in claims. I would not use Cornerstone under any circumstances.
