Collis Roofing - Saint Augustine, FL

This company is full of it....after waiting 9 days for a copy of my mother's contract to be told it's no longer available. Then when asked to speak to a supervisor, manager or owner the lady ask for my contact info again to say they will get it to me. Then when I asked for the address the female provides the cooperates address. If I do not get this information I will seek legal counsel. All I'm asking for is a copy if the contract.

Great job by Chis Burdette the project manager and his team from Collis roofing! Chris kept me updated on what needed to done and was always available if I had any questions. From the beginning meeting with Andrew Mosher the Senior Estimator every thing went smoothly!

Would like to recommend collis roofing, there service is excellent, fair and very prompt. I would also want to thank Alan r service agent for helping me understand what the issue with r roof. Alan was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This is the third time we have used Collis and will continue. Thanking the whole team at Collis.

What a wonderful experience we had with Collis Roofing today! Alan showed up on time and he was thorough, tidy, and professional. He did an amazing job climbing up to make multiple repairs to our clay tile roof -- which is three floors up. While up there, he took photos so we could see just how badly damaged our roof was - - and how beautifully he repaired it. He moved around carefully and nimbly, and even in this horrible heat (almost 90 degrees), he remained upbeat and personable. If I could give more than 5 stars I most certainly would!! Kudos, and thank you so much!!

I called two other large roofing companies, their answering folks said I would get a call back to set up an appointment the next day, I waited 3 weeks and gave up.
So I called Collis Roofing and they told me when I would get a call back, AND THEY CALLED ME BACK!
A day later Alan H. came by to inspect the roof to find the cause of my leak. Alan found it in literally 2 minutes and he showed me pictures of the issue.
As luck would have it, I had shingles and he got approval to do the work right away. He was finished in 30 minutes and it was a fair price.

We called 3 roofers over 2 weeks, Collis was the only one that returned our call. We had a intermittent leak that we thought would be hard to identify but the guy that came found it within minutes and fixed it within 30 mins for a reasonable price. I recommend this roofer!! Thank you so much!!!

Ones of their trucks was driving like a maniac , almost wrecked into me ( inches) called the office to report his wreckless driving . Ashley was very kinda and very professional, and had a solution to keep the roadways safe.

The guy came out an gave me a estimate. He told me what I was going to buy. It was not my choice. My choice was a metal roof. He said no your getting shingles. An then I explained that I wanted all boards removed from the roof. He said no we are not doing that either. We are only replacing the bad ones. An if we took all the boards off that will rip off the steaples. Now who tells a customer what there going to purchase? The last time I looked it was my money not his. An sounds like your going to half azz do the job don't bother me cause I am not interested in this type of work. Nor is there anyone going to tell me what I'm going to buy with my money. Peroid. I am the paying customer. Not him. He gets a big fat commission at the end. That's all he sees in his eyes not caring about the customer.

Poor communication. No professionalism or common courtesy. Told me it would be 10 days before they could even come out to give me an estimate on the repair. No sense of urgency to help a repeat customer so they have lost my business for good. Found another company that did the repairs the very next day.

We've had Collis Roofing out twice now for repairs (weather damage) to our tile roof after they were recommended by our builder (they also put the roof on our house when it was built). They're nice, dependable, and more than fair with their pricing. They also do great work. I would highly recommend them for any roof repairs, replacement, or a new build.

Paul and his team at Collis Roofing are amazing. They made getting through the insurance claim and all of the red tape easy. The work was done quickly and very efficiently. We are thankful for helping us get the work done without any unnecessary stress. I would recommend them to everyone.

Collis was very prompt with setting up an estimate with me. They were one of the few companies that were open to doing the tile roof repair that I needed done. The job went very well, and I was completely satisfied with the end result. Andrea, who i delt with in the office, was very courteous and answered any of my questions with the utmost professionalism.

Working on a jobsite with the crew they have out here and they're throwing roofing tiles 2 stories to the ground without so much of a care if anyone is below or entering/leaving the house. Plus uve got videos to prove they are not yelling any warnings or casting them down a side of the house where there are no entrances. If this is a normal practice, OSHA will have a field day.

I highly recommend Collis Roofing. Our Roof is awesome and the service was prompt. Except this was an insurance claim and they were persistent on the final payment.

I really hate to do this to you guys but I have called about 4 of your offices in the Florida area looking for just a small amount of information and help. The young ladies who answer your phones are not only rude, but clueless to the industry or what is going on in your offices. Had it just been one, or even two, different offices I would not be writing this review, but all four? May want to do a little training or replacing.

I would like to say we had Collis Roofing to put a new roof on for us last week. Our contact was Ken Dean who was very personable, told us exactly what to do to get prepared for their arrival. Everything was like clock work. They showed up early and worked hard all day quitting about 6 p.m. The foreman, Bruce Robbins, was from Palm Coast and was present all day with his workers, very personable and making sure all went well. They came back early the next morning and before 11 was finished with roof, cleaned up yard, cleaned off driveway, sidewalk, and my porch. I couldn't even tell they had been here except I have a new roof.

Veterans held hostage. We have been waiting 7 months for our new windows. No one from the corporate office will return phone calls. We cannot go to another company because we have PACE financing and must have Collis release us fom contract before we can hire another contractor. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Ken Dean was easy to work with. He provided a quick fare quote and kept me informed. The job was completed in a timely manner. I would use Collis Roofing again.

Awesome company! I contacted 9 or 10 other roofing companies after damage to our roof from Hurricane Matthew. They were all too busy to call back. I contacted this company, and they got back to me right away. Ken Dean was out the next day to examine our roof and give us an estimate. We needed a new roof, and all the questions we had were patiently answered. They were able to take off two layers of badly damaged shingles and put on our new roof in only one and a half days! The site was left clean every day. Everyone from this company has been wonderful. Thank you Paul, Ken, Bruce, and the hardworking crew who put our new roof on. So happy with our new roof. I highly recommend this company.

Price Gouging - Had used Armor roofing before and knew having roofing boots replaced was approx $150/ea. Even had Collis come out for another home to get a written estimate for their repair - my mistake to trust this company as was given a verbal of $150/ea to replace boots on a house approx same size. Called office told Andrea wanted to make appt to have work done by these same guys and she confirmed price. She told me she would send me a written estimate she needed to keep paperwork straight - WELL THE ESTIMATE STATED BOOTS PRICE WAS DOUBLED NOW $300/EA !! Will never recommend Collis again !!!

Need a re-roof done quickly, at a reasonable price, and with a warranty that has real substance? If so, then we highly recommend Collis Roofing Inc. They put a new roof on our house in less than two days and we have a big roof. At times they had eleven men working on the roof at once. They knew that we were in a hurry and accommodated our needs. The new roof looks great!. It's rained hard since the job was finished and we've had zero leaks and zero issues. Well, there was a couple of holes in our pool cage screen. But, they were fixed immediately and at no additional cost to us. The roofing crew cleaned up after they were done every day and did a fine job making sure that we were "water tight" overnight. Our Project Manager was on-the-job with the team, and available by cell phone, email and text, even after hours. We had an extremely pleasant re-roofing experience and give Collis Roofing our highest complements for a job well done.

Collis Roofing did a fantastic job on our new roof! Very professional company from the sales team down to the roofers. If you have ever been around a roof when its been torn off you know how dirty and messy it can be, but when I arrived home today after it was complete, I could not even tell they had been there, other then the beautiful new roof we had! Started late, installed the wrong color shingles but fortunately they were acceptable as they matched up with the colors on the rest of my house. The work was well done but when wrapping up our differences concerning the finished product I initially had to deal with a company representative lacking any customer relation skills what so ever and whose approach was bullying tactics which did not go over well. Went to the next level of management and all issues were eventually resolved favorably.
