Jonathan and team did a quality, efficient job repairing roof and ceiling damage caused by a tree strike at my house. The estimation and scheduling process was very quick and easy and the price was excellent. When the work was done, the inside and outside of my house were left clean and tidy. The team at CollazoHome Improvements did an excellent job! They replaced numerous sections of rotten wood on our c1790 house, caulked around the new boards, and painted those sections so the blended in beautifully. The crew arrived early every day and put in long hours despite the brutal heat wave! The guys were really nice, professional, and hard-working! We’ve already passed their information to several friends, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone or hire them again ourselves!

Had a great overall experience with Jonathan and Joey. I had a couple of small tasks I wanted completed around the house, including installing a ceiling fan, a chandelier, and fixing a window. Unfortunately the window fix proved more complicated than initially expected and Joey had to order a few different parts and return a couple of times to get the job done. He was always punctual and fast and ultimately all projects were eventually completed well.

Johnny and his crew did a great job on the repairs at my house following a tree falling on it. Whether there was him or his next in line, they were constantly on top of communicating timeline and next steps. They were very respectful when they were on our property. The end results came out great.

The porch looks beautiful and they made sure it was exactly how I envisioned it, and did some small things at the end for me such as installing my new outdoor lights, putting up my mailbox, etc for the finishing touches. We purchased a new home and noticed a roof leak the first week. There were also a few odds and ends that the home inspector identified. Jon came out quickly to give us an estimate, the work was completed within days, and he sent his guys back out to address a few issues no questions asked. He is very responsive. Also, the invoicing program that he uses is incredibly convenient. You can do it all from your phone and even pay with Apple Pay. Highly recommend!

I recently hired Collazo to take awnings off my home and I am thrilled with their performance. When booking the appointment, Jonathan was very responsive, communicated clearly and effectively. The initial day we scheduled for it ended up raining and he was able to reschedule for the same week. And the price was very responsible. David was the tech assigned for the job and he was fantastic! Our front porch needed a new floor and the back deck needed new aluminum put around it. Joey, Jonathan, and David did a fantastic job, even in the freezing cold weather. Luckily, we did get some nice days so the porch floor could get a second coat of paint. They also recommended some things that made the job look more professional and didn't cost me any more.

We purchased a house and decided to remodel it. After getting several quotes, Collazo offered nearly half the price of others, so we went with them—and it was the best decision!

This was a major remodel, including removing walls, closets, a fireplace, flooring, painting, and installing a shower glass door, among other things. The entire team was professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.

Jonathan and his team were courteous, professional, and happy workers on the job site. Jonathan was impressively quick to answer my texts, picked up every time I called, and took the time to learn and remember my name. The price he estimated for my deck repair beat out two other contractors by quite some margin, but quality was kept. They were done in less than a week, got to work early each day, and worked until dark, even in the rain of mid-December. My only wish is that tarps had been laid on the ground to keep track of the composite plastic shavings, but this is a small detail, which I am happy to vacuum up myself. Fantastic work otherwise! My thanks to everyone involved.

As mentioned in other negative reviews above, he picks and chooses which customers to prioritize, yet continues to waste your time by ignoring you and giving false hope that he will help instead of simply saying no. He might be a skilled handyman, but this is not how you treat your customers.

Originally we hired to just replace a bunch of rotted boards on deck with Trex that I just wasn't getting around to doing. They recommended a few other things, we ended getting almost new deck, railings and all. I'm glad we went with their suggestions the finished product looks fantastic. Dave and Dave came to replace our front door and what we thought was a little bit of rot on the trim. It turned out that a good portion of the outside wall was rotted. The team quickly scrambled to get the needed supplies to do a much bigger job. We were thankful that they took care of it right away and did a great job. It looks and functions much better than before. The team was personable and knowledgeable. The job was finished in a timely fashion and for a reasonable price. We will definitely use Collazo again!

We recently hired Jonathan and his team to install an attic ladder. Access to the attic had been blocked previously so they weren't able to get up there and see what they were working with and had to go in blind. Unfortunately that meant the spot we had initially targeted couldn't be used and we had to move the install over a couple feet.

They patched up and painted that first cutout perfectly - even matching the textured ceiling. This meant some extra unexpected work, but Jonathan didn't adjust his quote at all!

The whole process was so stress-free. Everything was done quickly, with great communication, and ease of making payments. I now find myself wandering my house wondering what projects we can do next now that we've found Collazo Home Improvements!
