The Coastal Restoration team has been excellent to work with. I had a major job done a couple years ago, and recently a minor leak occurred in the area that was repaired. I contacted the owner Chris and he came out the same morning. With the aid of his fancy tools, he was able to quickly identify the location of the leak. The repairs are in the process.

I have nothing but good things to say about Coastal Restoration.

This place takes the entire L in Loser. They billed us for a quote, the man who came to my home Lied to us, told my mother the bathroom wall is three layers of Sheetrock when we literally have a hole, where anyone with eyes can see the that there is only one layer, there's actually two holes, and I cut them myself when we first began discussing a bathroom remodel, he also told me that they would have to test "each layer individually" for asbestos and that would cost hundreds of dollars, the test itself is literally $30.00 and ⅓ of that is for the shipping. I would not trust them with my mother in law. Don't waste your time and don't trust anything that they say. I wish that we never called them, and they will not be receiving any money from us, I hope that my experience and my debt will be a cautionary tale to anyone that comes across this post. Absolute Trash.

A very large spruce tree fell on our house a week before Thanksgiving. Luke, from Arbor Care, recommended Coastal Restoration to help with the damage. Maggie, Brittany, Jesse and other team members promptly came to our house in Ocean Park and got right to work. They neatly packed up our belongings and brought in many machines to deal with all of the water damage. We are very impressed with every person we've dealt with. They are easy to communicate with and show caring and competence. We highly recommend them.

We are fortunate to have Coastal Restoration recommended to us when we discovered our leak. From diagnosis through mitigation and restoration their crews were professional, compassionate, and thorough. They know how to write up insurance claims so your home can be restored to original or better. They know what to do and how to do it. Upfront about the timeline and inconstant contact during the restoration.

We had a second floor water issue during the night and woke up to our house flooded on both second and first floors. We called Coastal Restoration and they were there within hours and went to work. Their rapid same day response truly mitigated the extent of damage and we are so grateful. The Mitigation Crew assigned was exceptional - very professional, hard working, friendly and went out of their way to answer any questions. We could not be more pleased with their work and wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this company.

We recently had major water damage at our home on the Oregon Coast. Coastal Restoration promptly responded to this crisis with their excellent mitigation team. Once the damage was controlled, they were also able to provide the necessary repairs in a timely manner. This was critical as it is very difficult to find contractors on the coast. They did a wonderful job and even facilitated some much needed upgrades.

They were upfront with us on the process and timeframe of the repair. Starting with the promptness of the mitigation from the damage. to the repair estimate, and finally the completion date. When we had questions or concerns the office staff or build team returned our calls and email promptly.

They sent us to great vendors to select the new replacements for the damaged items. Companies they have worked with many times and who only had praise for Coastal Restoration. Having to work with an insurance company is no easy task, we want to thanks Coastal for the patients they had as we struggled with ours.

Chris and Maggie and the team are great. I have noticed that they are super professional and they care a lot about doing the right thing following the standards of care for their profession and making sure they deliver top-notch service to the customers and train all the employees properly, in the technical procedures of how to do their job. I can’t recommend a company on the Oregon coast anymore than this Group to take care of your water, fire or mold related emergencies.

This is the greatest group of tradesmen to be found on the coast or in the NW for sure! They take care of everything you could think of and are informative and helpful the entire process. Can't say enough to how they take care of this community both as a company and as a bunch of great people and friends.

If I could give Coastal Restoration a 10 star rating I would. I have used them for 2 separate (sadly it happened twice) floods in my home and their service is outstanding. The first time( I looked for the best google reviews at the North Oregon Coast) they came out in the middle of an ice storm and the second time I knew to call them right away. They arrived within 2 hours. They are better than any of the reviews. They are fast, efficient, they know how to mitigate (identify, clean up, get functioning again) damage and they really restored my home to pre flood damage. I didn't have to keep after them. They have supervisors that come in, follow and inspect the work to make sure it's being done as planned, indicated and on time. The quality of their office staff, workers and subcontractors is superb. Twice, they handled all the negotiations with our insurance from the initial damage assessment to the finale payment. I always knew who to call for either billing, insurance or work questions. Every person I spoke with knew how to help me or put me in contact with the appropriate person. They return phone cals and emails promptly. I could not recommend this company enough. Coastal Restoration has my permission to use me as a reference.

When you suffer a loss as a homeowner, the first thing you want is a fast response on cleanup and repair. Coastal Restoration was so prompt that they beat us to our house to start the mitigation from the hot water flood! We were very impressed with their prompt and through work on our home. They were here to pack it up and put it back together. The house looks better than before the flood! From the mitigation team to the reconstruction team to the office staff our experience with Coastal Restoration was friendly and easy to work with. They are nothing but the best! We highly recommend them and will have them back again as needed to work on our home.

I have dealt with many renovation companies, and Costal was the most professional bunch of people that I have dealt with. They were courteous, considerate, professional and informative; they explained well what they are going to do, and the execute it with most professionalism. Only downside is that they are so busy and we had to wait for long time for our turn. But, overall, it was a pleasure working with the whole team including Scott who was our contact person for the project. Highly recommend them.

When we bought this home 2 years ago our inspector discovered mold on the underside of the roof. The sellers hired coastal for mold mitigation. During the process I looked in the attic and saw they were worried about mold above the bathroom fan as I could see it was wet from their mold spray.
When I turned on the fan after our move there was insulation in the fan and I vacuumed it from the bathroom fan side and didn’t think it was reattached after the mold and new insulation work.
I called several times- they never returned my call, and the next time I called was told someone else should call and never heard from him either. Today I felt I was able after my coronary bypass and went into the attic with a ladder, found the fan hose and reattached the hose to the fan. It works now as evidenced by insulation outside from inside the hose and the outside flap now opens from fan air pressure.
My point is they might have reduced the mold but not the cause for the mold for us.

The guys at CR are amazing. They have shown me that having a tree limb pop a hole in your roof doesn't have to be a total nightmare.

Coastal completed a total gut and remodel of my Seaside home, the project went well and the final product was exceptional. The Coastal Restoration crew has been to our house the last 3 years to work on several projects in our forever home! They have abated asbestos popcorn ceiling and brought it into the new millenium, replaced our roof, replaced all our windows, completed a total bathroom remodel, and installed countertops and sinks in our laundry room and half bath. They are extremely easy to work as we do like to do some of the components of our projects to save money. They are also extremely professional and thorough. Even if there is a small scuff that we wouldn't be likely to notice, they point it out and make it right. I trust them completely with my home, and also appreciate that I can ask their opinion on design and functionality. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

If there is ever any damage to your home Coastal Restoration are the ones to call. They will not only do an amazing, top notch job repairing your damaged property they will also help you with your insurance claim. We could not have done it without them. I was scared to find a busted pipe that flooded our kitchen. We called our friends at Coastal Restoration and from start to finish our project has been enjoyable. They were efficient and timely. I am grateful for this company and if you ever find yourself in a crisis pertaining to your home- do yourself a favor and trust this company. They will treat you right!

The phone rings. A tree has fallen through the middle of your house. It’s now pouring rain in the living room. And bedrooms. Onto everything. Onto that couch you just had delivered. On the entertainment system. On the painting you bought downtown and hung on the wall. That’s not the phone call you are expecting on a Sunday morning. But within two hours of a massive tree smashing through the house, Chris and the crew at Coastal Restoration were on the roof, covering it with tarps, removing branches, coordinating with utilities, saving the home. They ordered a crane, scheduled work crews and sorted the mitigation. Then their construction crew came through and fixed everything - walls/floor/ceiling/windows/roof over the next few months.

While this is all going on there is the tangle of insurance. The insurance paperwork is lengthy and can be frustrating – but the team at Coastal takes it on with you. Coastal works with the insurance company to make sure everything gets fixed and paid for.
You never think something like this is going to happen, but when it does having Chris and his team saving your home is a welcome relief.

These folks were prompt to respond to an urgent call, and even called ahead to confirm they would be on site. They fixed my leaky roof, and did it the right way. They took the time to explain everything it all in terms I could understand.
