Simply said, we have been thinking about our dream kitchen for years....and Keith at Coacher Construction made our dreams come true.

We knew that there is no one that we wanted to work with other than Coacher Construction. He had done several other projects for family and we were very impressed with the process and Keith exceeded our expectations. At the beginning of the job he introduced us to Designing Dreams by Ajay. This ignited our imagination on the possibilities to really transform our kitchen in a way to maximize our space and not just look at it as a rip and replace. Both Keith and Ajay came along every step of the way as we were picking out kitchen cabinets, the countertop, flooring...even down to the faucet. We really appreciated when they would provide their opinions based on their experience so we would not make mistakes other homeowners have made without this direction (who knew there are so many whites)!

We really appreciated seeing Keith or one of the many trusted subcontractors EVERY day. Knowing that progress was being made every day was such a relief. There are horror stories out there with people working with other contractors of missed dates, shoddy workmanship or inexperienced subcontractors. You will NEVER experience that with Coacher Construction! Keith's cleanliness was also greatly appreciated. He always ended the day vacuuming the work area and any material was piled neatly. His attention to detail is second to none. We also really appreciated Keith being very upfront about costs, decisions a change would make and the overall project dates. There are no surprises because he is clear about what to expect and explains it in a way that you understand.

In summary, no one can go wrong with Coacher Construction! We walk into our dream kitchen every day and it is perfect. In fact, we were already planning our next project before Keith was done with our first project with him!

Keith and his team did excellent job doing are basement. We are happy with all the work he did and time he took. I would recommend anyone to coacher construction for you need for basement remodel.

Keith is everything you could ask for in a contractor. He is extremely responsive in all communication, detailed in all aspects of his work, professional, and clean! People often relay stories of the messes they encounter during home improvement projects - Keith treats others' homes like his own and leaves places better than when he arrived. Keith was also very accommodating in taking on additional miscellaneous repair asks beyond the primary kitchen remodel he performed. He maintains good relationships with his sub-contractors and finished the project ahead of schedule! Highly recommend without reservation.

Edited to add: We have changed our review from 5 stars to 3 because, while Keith was responsive during our project, his communication has been virtually nonexistent since then. We have reached out multiple times regarding a repair needed on the sink he was in charge of installing and he has made no effort to work with associated suppliers and subcontractors in resolving the situation. Keith does a fine job when projects are in process, but once he is done with the project, he is done.

Keith’s ability to coordinate details to create a beautiful living space as a renovation to our unfinished basement exceeded our hopes. He worked with us to find creative solutions to space limitations, allowing us to have a beautiful space that shines due to his precision, thoughtfulness, and kindness. His ability to execute a design without cutting corners with meticulous attention to details created a beautiful end product in a basement remodel with a bathroom, living space, and storage space.

Project design- Keith took the time to map out various options with us, communicating clearly the limitations to a home remodel, as well as opening up new options for us. His approach to project planning allows clarity in the steps that will be taken, as well as the cost of the project.

Communication- after working with several other professionals over the years, I’ve not encountered someone who is better at communicating. Keith’s communication and responsiveness is unparalleled. His excellence in the field is demonstrated by his attention to details, which included keeping us up to date on the steps involved, and never leaving us guessing on the timeline of the project. He has consistently been a pleasure to work with, and he has been a kind and thoughtful in every interaction with us. This communication is accompanied by timely, efficient and precise work.

Quality- Keith took the time to make sure choices of trim, paint, and texture tied in with the rest of our house. Where other contractors may look to cut corners, Keith’s precise work and creative solutions allowed smaller details to shine through on our project. The subcontractors he works with were also excellent, with seamless drywalling, efficient plumbing and electrical solutions, and pleasant interactions with his subcontractors.

Attention to detail- perhaps the most impressive aspect of the whole process. Keith’s attention to details provided us with a beautiful end result while also making a major home projection never feel like an intrusion of our living space. Every aspect of the project went smoothly with thoughtfulness to how different steps would impact our day to day. His superb cleanliness was perhaps the most surprising aspect, with care for the rest of our home resulting in no trace of major work having been completed recently.

From start to finish, Coacher Construction has been a pleasure to work with. Should we need any additional work or should friends need work, it is good to know there is someone who can so reliably help us.

My wife and I decided to hire Coacher Construction to do a full basement finish on a little over 1,300 square feet! Keith came to our home, sat down with us after measuring out our basement and telling him everything we wanted and needed to complete finishing our basement, and presented us with his detailed plan and quote for the job. We hired Keith after thinking about it for a few days and are so glad we did. Keith is very good at what he does and does a very nice precessional job from start to finish. Keith is very prepared with his jobs that you feel like you are the only one he’s working for. He listened to exactly what we wanted and never tried to steer us in a different direction. He was very easy to talk to and get ahold of. Keith always responded in a timely manner to questions and gave updates along the whole process. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to finish our basement. Just remember, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Coacher construction is worth every penny. Keith has been an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very beginning when we were picking a contractor, he has been nothing but professional, clean and timely.

He met with us in our house and walked through our unfinished basement and asked about our wants and needs. He then got us an estimate in a very timely matter. We signed with Keith and the work began within a month.

The project started ahead of schedule and finished within his allotted time frame he gave us. The house and driveway were always left clean at the end of the day like he hadn't even been there. All of his subcontractors were friendly and courteous.

We are so glad we chose coacher construction to complete our basement for us. We are so happy with our new space, and we thank Keith so much for making the project as smooth as possible. We could not recommend him enough for your home projects.

We wanted to install a wet bar in our basement but were having trouble reaching any of the contractors that had been recommended to us. I went to google and saw the positive reviews from Coacher Construction and was not only able to actually talk to someone, was able to schedule a walk through the following week. Keith was so wonderful to work with. Any day there was something that could be done, either he or one of his subcontractors was there working. He did an amazing job ensuring the work site was cleaned up after each work day. The project finished much quicker than he originally quoted and the quality of work done is excellent. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

There is no right place to begin regarding just how fantastic the experience was working with Keith and Coacher Construction. After not even receiving call backs from very reputable companies in the Sioux Falls area, our hopes to even just get a quote on our basement remodel was looking hopeless. It was the same everywhere. Covid had backed jobs up for everyone, and considering ours was a time sensitive project, it looked to be impossible. I made one last call, and thankfully it was to Coacher Construction. I received a call back by the end of the day to set up a walkthrough, and he found time to come over the very next day. Keith was knowledgeable, efficient, and understanding of our need to get it done in a short amount of time. He listened to closely to our needs, our concerns, and our budget and was back to coordinate a plan in days. Even with a full plate of other work, he made time for us and cranked out our project over the span of a few weeks and never made us feel like anything other than his most important clients. I've never dealt with a more genuine and accommodating company. Thank you for everything!

Edited to add: After my review below, we hired Keith for another remodel (primary bath). And we will continue to hire Keith to handle our our projects until the end of time. He is responsive, clean, and finished on time and on budget. It's clear we were his #1 priority when he was working on our project; we were never sitting around waiting for the next trade to come in. Our project involved taking the bathroom down to the studs and moving everything around. But he was able to fit in everything that we wanted in a much more functional layout. Most importantly, he cares about details as much as I do so it all came together beautifully. As always, could not be more pleased with the result!

We have now hired Keith for remodel projects in two separate houses and we would without question hire him again. He cares about the quality of work and patiently worked with me to make sure I was happy with all the details of our project - both during the planning stage and as the project was ongoing. He was at the project every day and kept things exceptionally clean. He finished ahead of schedule and was exactly on budget. I would recommend him to anyone looking for high quality remodel work.

After interviewing contractors, we made the easy decision to hire Keith Coacher and Coacher Construction to remodel our bathroom. His professionalism and clear-headed communications tipped the scales. After we made that decision, Keith went to work and walked us through the planning process, provided clear instructions on our options for layout and materials, and developed a detailed plan and cost estimate for the overall job. Once we gave the plans a thumbs up, he gave us a timeline and he went to work arranging everything associated with the project. Keith was on the job every day and did all but the tiling, plumbing, and electrical work himself. While we did not expect that, in hindsight, we are grateful for his personal attention. That eliminated confusion and the variability associated with a revolving door of workers. It made every aspect of the job predictable. Keith finished an estimated 3-week project several days ahead of schedule, there were no surprises, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. Working with Keith was a terrific experience and we highly recommend Coacher Construction.

Keith did a phenomenal job with our bathroom remodel. He laid out the cost and timeline. Each day, he showed up on time and cleaned up his work area. The remodel was done in 8 days which was quicker than expected. This was a huge plus, since this was our main bathroom. Keith kept me posted on developments each day so I knew what to expect the next day. More than anything, I appreciated that I did NOT have to track him down to get him to come to the worksite. If you want a contractor who follows through on timelines and stays on track the project, Keith is your man!!

Keith is the only contractor I have worked with who always completes his projects on time and at the quoted price! He will not let you down- total professional, adaptable and a kind man. Keith did an egress window, a bedroom, and a few other things in our basement. We had a bunch of considerations and limitations that he was able to work around beautifully, and we appreciated that flexibility. The project went very quickly and felt well-organized and efficient, even with subcontractors coming in and out. Keith communicates everything that's going on in a straightforward and friendly way, and is receptive to feedback. He also has an eye for details, and a thoughtfulness regarding extra touches. For instance, while he had the heating subcontractor in our basement, he had them run a duct to an area he knew we planned to finish in the future, a nice touch we wouldn't have thought of. Keith does very high quality work, takes quotes and budgets very seriously, and is friendly and professional. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Keith just finished a remodeling project for us. We have worked with other contractors in the past and have never found anyone with his level of professionalism. He is an excellent communicator...you always know where you're at in the project, what's next, and what he needs from you with plenty of advanced notice. The quality of his work and attention to detail are second to none, not to mention he maintains a clean workspace at all times which makes for a much more pleasant experience for the family that needs to live in the space being remodeled. We had a few things come up that required some adjusting in his schedule, but it never seemed to be an issue. He finished the job on time and on budget, and we couldn't be happier we chose Coacher Construction for our project. We highly recommend Keith and would work with him again on any projects we undertake in the future.

We hired Coacher Construction to remodel two bathrooms and are very satisfied with the results. We were pleased with the timeliness of Keith's project management, his willingness to listen to our ideas and use his skills and expertise to turn our ideas into reality, and the cleanliness of the work area throughout the project and at its conclusion. Keith Coacher did a basement remodel for our home. We gutted the entire family room, added windows and doors, moved the fireplace, and added cabinets and a wine bar. We also added a doorway and refrigerator area.
We to have to say, communication with Keith was beyond excellent. He listens, remembers, and rediscusses each phase of the project. He also has a designer, Denise Cotter, who advises and offers her expertise as the project moved along. The months we were in progress went so very smoothly. Our expectations were exceeded and we are very pleased with a living space that couldn't have turned out better. Keith has done many smaller projects and he takes precise care to do superb work and please the customer in all of them. If you want good communication , someone who tends to detail, AND does outstanding work, we would recommend Coacher Construction.
