I wanted to take the time to document my wonderful experience having my 1,200 ft long black top driveway sealed by Kyle and Randy Holcomb of CK Services LLC out of Fairmont West Virginia.
Getting quotes for Asphalt sealing is a chore but CK Services made it a fun and exacting experience. Not only did they come and measure my driveway for length and square footage, but they also used Google Earth/Maps to verify their measurements when they got back to their shop in Fairmont.
I had several neighbors in need of Driveway Sealing, so I actually got 4 quotes from CK Services. And they were more competitive than the other 3 companies we all got quotes from for sealing.
When Randy Holcomb came with his 4-man team and cleaned and sealed my driveway it was a very efficient and quality job. They cleaned all the dirt and stains and moss from my driveway using two Honda engine rolling blowers and heavy push brooms and even a metal push broom on the stubborn moss in the shady areas of my drive.
Since my black top goes all around my house they got on their knees and hand brushed in the sealing material all around my home and did not leave a make on my white porch columns that sit on the black top.
They have a 1,000-gallon tank and use a 7-foot spray wand to spray seal the black top. It is a quality seal and they even used a 5-foot square board to make sure there was no spillover spray on my house or woodshed.
When they finished, I had a solid thick coating on my driveway, and I am over the top pleased with the whole process from start to finish.
