We had a large branch fall on our house. I was a construction project manager for over 30 years and I can tell you that this company is as good as it gets. Pricing was reasonable considering emergency service was need. Timely response, communication and project performance were top-tier. Beyond that I had some other tree concerns around my house that I had been trying to get help with for months and Scott and his team of guys addressed those with very little additional cost. This is a good company run by good people doing great work.

I watched Apex Tree Works trim my neighbors trees and was impressed by the way they worked and how well they cleaned up afterward. I needed some trees cut down so I gave Scott Jeffers a call. He gave me a good estimate and I hired them. They were efficient and were very careful not to damage my neighbors property or my garage roof. Even though I decided to clean up the downed trees myself, they helped me out by orderly placing the debris on my property. They ended up doing more work than I originally contracted them to do, but
I was pleased with the prices for the extra work they preformed. I would recommend Apex Tree Works (Scott Jeffers) if you ever need any trees trimmed.

These guys are truly great. They expertly removed a huge, rotten maple in our yard that was surrounded by two houses, a power line, and a road. The had the project finished and completely clean within the same day. Scott and his team were a pleasure to talk to and had every piece of equipment they needed to finish the job. I highly recommend Apex tree works- the same day a big wind storm uprooted a large pine tree by our house, Scott came out to give us an idea what we were dealing with. He and his crew worked fast, we're very responsive and got the job done beautifully.

I had a nightmare situation happen to me days before closing on the home I was selling. I huge pine tree cracked near the base and it fell and got caught by neighboring pines. If this tree fell it would cause major damage to either my home or my neighbor's.

I found Apex Tree Works with lots of great reviews on a quick google search, so thankfully Scott from Apex showed up for an estimate the next day. Normal tree jobs are easy compared to this job where there was no access for trucks and tools that take the danger out of a tree that could fall with the slightest misstep. A climber has to scale the trees holding my fallen tree to try and carefully cut enough off so that they could support the tree from falling with ropes.

They just came today and sent me videos of the progress. Incredible job and they cleaned up afterwards with recommendations for other trees that should be taken down for safety. While this service cost a lot for such a dangerous situation, it would have been much worse had the tree fallen. I highly recommend Apex to anyone in need. Their normal prices for trees that are still standing are very reasonable.

Was able to schedule the work quickly and they showed up promptly on the morning and started removal of the tree. It was near power/phone lines, however this was not an issue for them. They had tree down and removed from property in few hours. Great team, highly recommend!

I had to have a couple of very large maple trees removed that were near my house. Apex was able to get them safely removed. The trees were big enough that the job took a few days to complete. They did a great job.

I hired Apex to cut a 60' leaning tree. It was a tricky job bc the tree was over top a neighbor's house and tangled with grapevines. In less than a day the tree was cut down and sectioned for stacking and the branches in a pile as I had requested. It was a job well done, at the quoted price, and in a timely manner.

Scott and his crew were great. Price was awesome. Work was done well and in one day. Will have them back to take care of other tree issues.

Great job by Apex. They took down an immense tree that if it fell would have destroyed my house. They had to climb the tree to prune it down before they could take the trunk down. Brave man climbing that tree.

Yesterday Scott & crew finished their 3rd job this year at my home. 1st was 3 large beeches and a big dead oak, left cut for firewood. 2nd was 9 mixed large/medium beeches chipped or hauled away. 3rd was 1 tall beech and 1 big dead oak, big logs stacked to my liking. All stumps ground down below dirt. A couple required topping first, and they have a good climber.
They have all the tools they need to do all of that, a tractor w/ attachments for front and back.
They're all professional, on time, keep you informed, and pricing is fair and reasonable. I've been very happy w/ their work. I have at least two more jobs for them later this year or early next. As other have mentioned, they also leave a pretty clean site behind when they're done.

7 months later Scott & crew came out w/ a bucket truck and removed 4 mid-sized beeches, all w/in 10 feet of my power lines, no issues. Also took down two large beeches, a very tall dead oak, and a handful of smaller trees. Pulled out 5 overgrown bushes roots and all. Ground all the stumps, hauled all the debris away, and left my yard looking neat. Professional crew, good price, very satisfied w/ their work.

Apex did a fantastic job with every aspect of the job. Even though they are located in West Virginia, they had no problem traveling out to Western PA to tackle a multiple day job. They provided a very affordable estimate and did a excellent job in removing some trees for me. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of any tree services!

Professional company. We had a tree fall on our house. They had the right equipment to remove and not cause further damage.

Working with these people was a great experience. I was a 1,000 miles away but they were very good. They constantly updated me on progress and maintained the schedule they promised. Their work on site was excellent as they did exactly what was promised (and then some) and they left the site clean and better than I expected. It is nice to work with people that do what they say and communicate.

Scott and his crew were top notch! Had a huge tree uproot and was ready to fall on house at any moment. Had another company company come out and look and they looked scared to take on job because of the location and quoted me through the roof. I had a large tree break in high winds and was concerned about the risk it posed to my home. After trying to get up with several local businesses, I was fortunate to have a friend recommend Apex. Scott promptly returned my call and was able to evaluate and give me a very fair estimate the same day. He and his men removed the tree the following day with the highest level of professionalism. Very satisfied with the entire process.

Scott came out and gave an estimate when he said they would and it was very reasonable. They were actually able to start the job a day before they originally scheduled. The job was two trees a large Red Oak that was in a difficult spot over a hillside and a smaller tree close to the road. Even with this issue for one of the trees they were able to do the job in a quick and efficient manner. Scott and his staff were extremely professional. I would use this company again without question if needed.

If you have trees that need removed, we recommend the crew at Apex. When we made the initial call, they were very quick to respond and came out the same day to give a free estimate. They explained the process and what steps would be taken. We had two large trees, close to the house, that were removed without incident. Once finished, they cleaned up the entire area, not to mention good pricing. The crew at Apex were on time, hardworking, and professional. We would use them again if needed.

A great outfit with all the bells and whistles! With the bucket coming in and removing a large dead maple and 0 damage of any kind and was very impressive with there skills in the process of a tree removal. Man man that does the climbing definitely knows what he’s doing and I thought he was amazing! SMH. Great company.

Great experience start to finish. Scott was quick to come out give an estimate, scheduled the job quickly, and finished and cleaned up the job within a couple days. He and his crew removed about 22 stumps-one of which was over 5 ft in diameter. I was very impressed with their quality of work and how well they cleaned everything up.
