We learned of CK McConkey on the advice of a neighbor who has used them to repair a slate roof. We have now used them for maintenance and repair of leaks with our slate roof. I couldn't be more happy with promptness, quality of work, and plan on working with them again. We had a number of quotes for work and price was amongst the lowest. All leak repairs continue to hold well despite the heavy rains recently.

I had used McConkey for some cedar siding on the Southern exposure of my 1920's bungalow in 2011. The siding was well done and has lasted beautifully since that time. I called McConkey a month ago and asked Scott to diagnose why we had a small leak in our kitchen ceiling (on the other side of our home). He came over at the time promised, told us why we had a leak and gave us various estimates for repair (all on a blazing hot day). We evaluated doing the entire roof as it was 29 years old and decided to have Scott do the entire job. They came on time a few days later, his workmen were polite, they worked steadily, and finished within budget 3 days later. At the end they did the most amazing thing...they cleaned up all the little bits that had fallen from our roof when they removed the old shingles and put on the new. Our yard now looks as if they weren't even there, our plants near the side of the house were not damaged and the roof is BEAUTIFUL. Thank you Scott and your team.

We needed to have our roof replaced and when we asked around we got a recommendation to get an estimate from C.K. McConkey Construction. Scott came over and gave us an estimate that was better than what we had gotten from another company. He worked with us to make sure that we understood the whole process from the selection of shingles through the follow up after our roof was done. Their crew was skilled, polite and made sure that there was nothing left behind after they completed the job. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the value they delivered.
