This is truly a professional and honorable service. I had a roof leak and contacted Charli via email. Within 24 hours he had come to my house (even though I wasn’t there; I had a guest staying), he assessed the damage and repaired the damage. What is critical to note is the following. Although most of the leak stopped, there was still a small amount of water getting in so I emailed Charli . He returned to the house within 24 hours, reassessed the situation, and resealed the roof without charge. This is old school honor, service, reliability and professionalism. It is my absolute pleasure to recommend this business unreservedly.

Charlie and his crew are fantastic! We had a leak from some heavy storms, they moved quickly to get out here and help us fix everything. In addition, and greatly appreciated by me, CJ himself came out, invited me up to the roof to show me what they were seeing and talked through his plans. Afterwards, they reinvited me up to look (I passed this time) but also sent pictures of the completed work.

He provided me lots of guidance that ultimately led to my selection of his company. His crew led by Hugo arrived early on a Friday 7am and were done by 7pm with the entire tear down, roof prep, wood replacement, laying out the water proof base and insulation, and lastly the white bitumen roof covering. He also replaced all metal around top perimeter and did great flashing work including encasing an old unused chimney. Lastly, his crew did a complete clean up of my backyard for all reuse and materials taken out as part of the tear out. Highly recommend CJ Roofing and Charlie Johnston the owner.

Living in a house built in 1915, we've had to hire many contractors over the years, and Charlie and his team are among the best. They replaced our entire roof and added ventilation, and the entire project, from sending the proposal to hammering the last nail on the new roof, took about a week. They actually would have started sooner if not for rain. I'm a worrier to put it mildly, and Charlie promptly and patiently answered all of my questions. The roof is sturdy and looks great, and the entire transaction was seamless and no-hassle. Highly, highly recommend!

We were extremely frustrated with the past service provided and were in search of a reliable roofing company. I initially reached out via email and got a response the same day. Less than a week later Charlie stopped by to inspect the roof and provide an estimate. He truly went above and beyond, listening to my concerns, took a photo of the issue, explained what needed to be done, and provided an estimate at that visit. The very next day his team came and fixed the issue! Additionally, his team took pictures of the process and finished project. We so appreciate your responsiveness, professionalism, and detail. Had a gap in the roof due to wind damage and CJ roofing inspected it the next day and made sure they had it fixed before it rained. Also did some needed maintenance on the slate part of the roof and inspected the rest of roof. The price was reasonable and workmanship on point. For reference we have a metal roof with a small portion made of rolled rubber. CJ Roofing repaired the seam between the metal and rolled rubber. In addition, they recoated the entire roof with fibered aluminum, repaired a few slate shingles on the mansard and installed a missing gutter downspout.
