I've never had my chimneys inspected and cleaned, so my expectations were a bit fuzzy. I think I had something in mind like Dick Van Dyke from Mary Poppins. Michael showed up with thoroughly modern inspection tools and gadgets and provided a precise assessment and recommendations. He was professional in every sense and very easy to work with. He took great care to ensure that the work area was properly set up to contain all the dirt and mess. Both fireplaces look wonderful now. In addition to the cleaning and restoration of our gas log fireplace, he converted one fireplace to burn real wood. When the work was completed, he provided excellent links and resources on how best to operate both fireplaces. I am thoroughly pleased and can recommend Chimney Masters without reservation!

I needed a complete rework of my chimney because unfortunately I did not have it cleaned every year so the creosote was at stage 3. Got estimates and Chimney Masters was not only the least expensive, they were also the most informative about the chimney’s condition, how it ended up this way, and what to do in future. Michael provided pictures and such relevant information in a non know it all fashion, unlike another company. Michael and Edwin came today to finish cleaning and repairing the chimney. They were exemplary in preparation by draping everything inside and out, and the cleanup was impeccable. Thank you so much for your work. We can now enjoy our fireplace again without fear of a chimney fire. Cleanings will definitely happen every year in early spring from now on!

Someone recommended Chimney Masters to me, and I'm really grateful they did. Michael cleaned up the mess another company left and walked away from. He is extremely competent, cordial, respectful, and above all, a people person. His talent is unmatched. He constructed a brand-new chimney and had a stunning chimney cap manufactured. In addition, he installed an amazing double-sided wooden fireplace between the family room and sunroom.

Wonderful service and at a great price! Just had my chimney serviced for the end of the season along with a complete air duct clean out. I definitely recommend them for all chimney and duct work needs. They are professional and easy to work with. They explained everything to me and walked me through each step of the process and even supplied pictures of the whole process.

When I called to schedule a tech for an estimate, I was told the tech would call me the day of to work out an exact time. When Michael and I spoke that morning, we agreed for 1230pm, Michael called 10 minutes AFTER he was supposed to be there to tell me he was running 20-30mins late. If it was the other way around, i guarantee he wouldnt have waited 20-30 minutes. Very unprofessional.

I recently relocated to Atlanta from Maryland and the home I purchased has a Beautiful fireplace. Chimney Masters were hired by the Seller to repair it. Mr. Fred came and discussed what was paid for, and to be Completed. Mr. Fred Repaired everything on his list Only to find that my Fireplace had a gas leak in the valve, which was not On the original order. Mr. Fred put me back on his schedule to come out and repair the leak AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. Just Because he Gave me his word that he would! I would Definately Recommend this Company to Anyone Looking for A Chimney Master. Excellent Service!

I called to have my fireplace valve looked at and repaired if necessary. On the call I was told to take pictures and email them in.. I promptly got a call back telling me to check the key to see if it was striped. It worked and was less than a $10 repair. They could have come out and charged a service call or even more. Thank you for doing the right thing and being and honest businessman!

Great Experience! When Michael came for my free estimate and inspection for rain leaking through my inside bricks (!), he put a tarp on the chimney before even knowing if I would approve his estimate. We were expecting hard rains for days and he said, "Even if you don't have Chimney Masters do the work for you, I want to protect your home from more inside damage!" The rain lasted for weeks before he was able to seal the top of the chase with mortar, seal gaps, holes, and cracks throughout the chase, install a new flashing overlay, install a chimney cap, and waterproof all in just a couple of hours. We never had any rain come inside through the bricks while it was tarped! What a blessing!
Michael is also researching ways to remove the white powdery substance that has coated my inside bricks!

Chimney Masters just finished bringing my 40 year old fireplace up to code and I couldn't be happier! They were professional and friendly, left the family room as clean as when they came in, and took pictures of everything they did throughout the process. I highly recommend them.

We've been using Chimney Masters for a couple years for normal chimney cleaning. Last year they made a rain pan for the top of our chimney and we noticed that it was a little flat and holding a bit of water after 1 year or so. They immediately offered to completely rebuild it and put supports underneath to keep it from ever sagging. They didn't charge us a dime and the rain pan looks great. These folks stand behind their work and can be counted on to make things right in the rare case where something isn't perfect the first time! I wish more companies had this level of customer service!!
