Chill out insulation

I'm utterly dissatisfied with the job Rich performed. He showed up and told me that the job I was hiring for would pass inspection. He did half the job and demanded his money. Prior to this he ran me around for a month and a half to get to the job. As a GC on the job and after he gave me a price to complete the project I told him I needed to be compensated for my time and asked him for $200 after completing the job. He agreed. After not finishing the job and being unable to come to an amicable settlement he threatened me and the project. Having no other recourse as the homeowner refused to pay him I them in touch each other that they might resolve the situation. He then proceeded to tell the homeowner that I padded his bill in order to fleece the homeowner out of the $200. I told him when he did the estimate I needed to pass inspection and he promised me it would. He failed to fill in most gaps, no windows were insulated and no fire blocking was done and he considered this project finished and payment was due. We spent quite a few hours finishing up the items before mentioned in order to pass inspection. I've been in the business for 35 years and I have never met someone capable of underperforming and then the defaming me as a GC in order to get $800 out of the homeowner. If I was truly padding the bill why would I have put him in touch with the homeowner and the homeowner in touch with him in order to remedy the situation. I wish there was a way to give him less than one star because that's what he deserves.

February 2014 - After receiving a quote from a local big name vendor, I did not think I could afford this. After meeting Rich, who thoroughly accessed my home.
