Mike and his crew painted several of my houses some inside, some outside. Mike was very communicative about the job. His cruise were on time, courteous and finish the job in the time promised. I highly recommend this company.

Chewelah Painting worked on a big project for our house - a cedar cabin style build. They stained and resealed both the deck and the house, bringing life back to the property. This is an older home and they handled the project with care. Two years later it still looks just as good as after they completed the project.

Just had our main floor repainted. The ceilings have open beams making things a bit out of the ordinary and trimmed that out beautifully. Had Chewelah paint for us 10 yrs ago and would have them again

I can’t say enough great things about Mike and his crew! My log home had not been maintained properly and needed some TLC. They removed all the old stain, applied new stain, painted the trim and chinked my log home. Mike provided me multiple options and explained everything they were doing and why he recommended it. Gave recommendations for colors and I LOVE it! I wish I’d done this years ago when I bought the home. Crew was so friendly and considerate of property and cleaned up every scrap of garbage. Mike and his team painted our cabin on Loon Lake and did an excellent job. I was initially impressed by how quickly they scheduled and started the project. I was equally impressed by how efficient, professional, and thorough they were. Both Kyle and Mike worked closely with me to make sure the final product met my expectations. Chewelah Painting rocks! I was in a panic because my dad who has dementia decided he wanted the interior painted the day we closed and we had sold his other house and knew that one was going to probably close early. I called Mike at Chewelah Painting and it just so happened they had an opening. They were able to start the next day and were done in a week. It would have been sooner but the power was off for a day. So very happy with the work, highly recommend!!!

Our rental house needed some dry wall repair and fresh up. I was only in town for 24 hours to sort this, dealing with painting people can be a drag. Then Chewelah Painting showed up in a new rig, on time, well dressed (for a painter), took good notes and in general left a nice impression - I had a few more bids that day but after the 2nd one I canceled the rest and booked with Mike (owner) to handle the dry wall repairs (2 boys) and paint the interior of the house.

I wanted to give a shout out to Mike and his crew! They did an excellent job on the exterior painting on our house. Mike is very detail oriented. I appreciate that! From start to finish communication with the office staff who contacted me prior to the job starting. Then Mike stopped by and we walked around my house to discuss paint types, colors, textures. They also did some exterior repair and prep to get my house ready. All in all I would recommend Chewelah Painting for any and all of your painting needs.

We used Chewelah Painting on our house last year. The job was professionally completed by a painting subcontractor and looks very nice. We also scheduled a deck sanding and refinishing project that needed to be put off until this spring/summer. We were contacted this year by Mike, who said he had procured all the stain and would be scheduling us for July. The communication was via text. When I never heard back about a date to complete the project, I texted and received no reply. I must agree the communication is exceptionally poor. I would look elsewhere for your painting needs.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GUY! Very unprofessional. Made an appointment and didn't show up so my wife called and he said they would be here in couple hours but never showed or called to let us know. She even took a day off from work to meet with him. He called her 3 days later and acted like no big deal but said he would send us a bid that night and again, didn't come through as promised. Noticed this trend on his reviews. If this company can't be professional or considerate enough to even make it to an appointment or even call if not able to make it that tells me their not worth doing business with. Ended up with a respectable company out of Spokane instead.

This is flat out lie!! I personally sent him the plans and project information. I was here waiting with my wife all day for him to show up which he never did!! Couldn't even bother to call and let us know. I have been in construction my entire career and would never treat customers with such disrespect.

My first appointment was canceled 20 minutes before he was to arrive. My second appointment he came a half hour early and left before our scheduled appointment time, stating I wasn't there! He then texted asking if I would be available for an appointment by phone this afternoon or evening... AND NEVER CALLED! Just say you don't want my business! Don't waste my time. I went out of my way to be here all three times.

We recently purchased an used, custom made Wooldridge. This boat was in desperate need of a paint job! Chewelah Painting did an outstanding job from start to finish painting our boat! They stripped all of the old paint that was on there since the early 90's. It was not an easy task. Chewelah Painters are very knowledgeable and the crews are very professional. They did the job right and paid close attention to detail. We will only call Chewelah painting in the future for all our painting projects!

They do more than paint. They also do construction and cement work. Very professional and friendly. They keep you informed and do what they say they will do when they say they will do it. Great company. I highly recommend them ! They do it right!

We are absolutely thrilled with the beautiful work that Mike Bellevue and
the guys - Chris, Deon, Caleb, Stuart and Brandon at Chewelah Painting
did for us.
We had a very huge project - two large old barns, a three-bedroom home,
and several outbuildings, all of which needed to be repaired, painted, and
stained. We also live in a rural remote area and Mike had to haul in two
Genie lifts and a water tank to get the job done. We never ever could
have imagined how wonderful everything would turn out. It is fantastic!
When we first spoke with Mike Bellevue over the phone, we were
immediately impressed. Mike is an extremely smart and ethical
businessman. We spent about 45 minutes talking to him about our ideas
and project, and then we set up an in person meeting with him at our farm.
For that meeting, we spent about 2 hours with Mike talking about and
walking around the project site. Mike was punctual and very professional.
He was also very enthusiastic and had great ideas on how best to tackle
the project.
Throughout our planning and project, Mike communicated very effectively
via phone, email and text, and he promptly responded back to us if we
had any questions.
Mike really helped us with our unique color choices, too. He had large
“color drawdowns” done by Sherwin Williams and sent them to us, so we
knew exactly how the paint and stain would look on the barns and house.
Mike also sent the color samples to us via FedEx, so we would have them
the next day in order for us to finalize our choices, which was very helpful.
Throughout the project, Mike and the guys were so pleasant, respectful,
and easy to work with. Each and every day the guys arrived with smiles
on their faces and at the end of each workday, they always cleaned up the
worksite leaving everything spotless. While never rushing, the guys ​
worked from sunrise to sunset to get everything completed in a timely
fashion. In our opinion, they go above and beyond to strive for perfection
every step of the way!
They also had amazing pride in their work and really took their time
making sure not to make any mistakes. They were meticulous, and they
taped off areas with paper, plastic and tape. They were so detailed
oriented and saw things and pointed out things that we never noticed. For
example: The hardware on the barn was old and worn out, but Deon
hand-painted the metal to make it really standout and “pop”! The guys
always went the extra step to enhance the outcome of all of the painting
projects, and everything looks truly amazing!
When the job was all done and completed, we were really sad to say
goodbye to them. They are such nice guys.
We will definitely call on Mike and the guys at Chewelah in the future for
any projects that we might have and would highly recommend them to

I just had the old popcorn ceiling removed, ceiling textured and living room and dining room painted. It was a difficult job because of lack of space to move all the furniture to. They were super flexible and great in finding ways to make it work and helping to get everything moved. They also did an awesome job with the painting. End result is awesome. I will call them again!!

Great people to work with. Not only did exceptional work, but were easy to communicate with before, during and after the project was finished. The "Picasso" crew (Chris, Brian, Teresa) were always on time, prepped the house from any unwanted splatters, cleaned up everyday and were able to finish work early. Mike and his crew are very personable and easy to work with! We decided in late September to paint our garage and barn, and they were able to complete everything in time before the weather tuned cold. We were provided with a quote that same day, and his crew even worked over the weekend to finish the job. They also took the time to repair loose boards, our garage looks amazing!!
