A1 is the best. I have been a long time customer, they always do a perfect job sweeping my chimney, they also go over my fireplace with me to let me know how it's working and if anything needs repaired.

The crew just finished fixing our old old chimney.They said it would take two days and it did. They cleaned up after themselves. Our chimney looks wonderful. We have an old bar tile roof, so They had to be extra cautious, not breaking any of the roofing and it is only 73 years old. Go figure right. Put it all back in place looks as good as new. My husband says they are very professional and excellent at what they do. Would highly recommend them. In fact, our neighbor saw them doing our chimney and asked them If they could work on his when they were done. So right now they are across the street doing another chimney.

A1 just did a chimney repair due to leaking we were having. They fixed some broken bricks, put on a sealant, made a custom cap, redid the flashing, and installed the rain caps. From the estimate to the work, everyone was very friendly. They were able to create a plan within our budget and it looks great!

Back in 2022 I needed to get a couple chimneys rebuilt on my 1910 rental. A few people wouldn’t touch it but A-1 said no problem. Was a little tricky with a window next to one of the chimneys. They did a fabulous job. Kept me informed. Took care of the tenants flowerbeds so they were not disturbed. They are on my list for any of my rental chimney repairs In the future.They especially proved it today. It is now 2025. One of my caps had fallen off. They promptly came and fixed it. And as a wonderful bonus, they didn’t charge me. Talk about great customer service I highly recommend them.

Well professional, clean and efficient com p any. The consultation was easy and felt reassured I would he taken care of.
The install guys were right on time. Closed the gates behind them and self sufficient. Even went out of their way to preserve our hearth that had seen better days, went as far as attempting to puzzle the broken pieces back in. The lead was very thorough explaining what he did and reassuring everything was up to code. Also carefully explained the break in process for the stove. Would recommend to anyone looking. The customer service at A1 was exceptional. The owner personally arranged for an estimate within a week and the team even managed to fit our instalation in weeks earlier than expected. We went to A 1 Rooftop to schedule an appointment to get our Chimney cleaned. We were told we would be getting a phone call to let us know when they would be able to come out. To our surprise Tim from the company was on our porch, he was around the corner on another job. The service we received was excellent, Tim was efficient, clean and very friendly. I give them 5 stars for a job well done and will definitely use them again!

Ron's team of Jeff and Isaac recently completed the replacement and install of my old Woodstove with a new Blaze King Princess. They did a great job maneuvering the new stove in to place and completing the install. They were very thorough in walking me through the stove operation, maintenance and cleaning and Jeff even took the time to offer suggestions on cleaning up and selling my old stove. Lastly, I needed some 3 inch flexible ducting to connect my stove to my fresh air vent and Jeff happened to have some and let me know that he would leave it for me and I could pick it up at the store in Chewelah...that was a pleasant surprise. Finally, after I fired up the stove for the first time I had a question on operation and made a call to A-1. Within a minute I was talking directly to Ron who was able to answer my question. The stove has been operating beautifully, I'm only sorry I didn't get a Blaze King years ago. If you are looking for a woodstove or chimney sweep service, you should use A-1!

We had new parts installed on our pellet stove. Company was easy to communicate with and very professional. The day after repairs (we had to wait for chimney glue to dry) the fan was louder than normal they responded quickly and took care of the issue. I highly recommend!

Long overdue review! These guys took out our old heavy woodstove and installed a beautiful new gas fireplace. This including making the opening larger. We also had them come back and install a pellet stove in another building at a later date. Ron, Jeff and Ty( and others) are all super friendly, knowledgeable and dependable. Highly recommend!

Called put to sweep our chimney. Found several serious defects installation was done incorrectly and also our wood stove had 3 cracks in the heat exchanger. The whole system was bad. We had bought this home in June 2023,so if you are buying a home have a professional chimney sweep inspect! Very happy with their work! Cleaned up after themselves. Easy to have around stuck to task,yet friendly. We will use them again.

Really enjoyed working with this company. Great communication and professionalism. We had an old fireplace insert that was no longer safe to burn in. These guys installed a new chimney for us. I did the tile work and then they put the stove in, a Blaze King Sirocco 20.2. It has made a huge difference in our home, keeps the place a very comfortable temperature. A-1 really knew their stuff and were able to answer all our questions. They always showed up on time, and were very intent on doing the job right. Can't recommend them enough.

I purchased my house this summer. First A-1Rooftop came out to inspect my chimney, fireplace, and wood stove. All 3 were in disrepair and unusable. Ron, the owner, came out and assessed the seriousness of my situation and drew up a bid to repair the wood stove and chimney. Today the crew came and did the work. Afterwards, I was given the time to ask all of my questions without feeling rushed or that my questions were silly. I highly recommend A-1 Rooftop!!!

Today I was stranded with a flat tire in the snow, rain and cold with no cell phone service on my way from Ione to Colville. Jeff from this company stopped to assist me and took me to a phone where I could call home for help. Then on his way back through, he stopped to make sure everything was ok as the tire was being changed. I am so thankful for his kindness and assistance. I was in tears! He didn't have to stop or get me to a safe place, but he did and I am grateful. If I burned wood I would most certainly use this company! They obviously hire the best people. Thank you Jeff!

So this was our first time having a chimney looked at. We got with the house we bought a couple years ago some receipts for work done with this company back in 2016, so I decided to call them to have ours serviced as I was unsure when it was done last. the girl I spoke with on the phone (sorry I didn't write her name down) was super nice and courteous. when our technician showed up to do the work, Randy was his name, he was super polite and knowledgeable. He explained the whole process to me and answered all my questions as I had never had a chimney and wood stove serviced. I was very pleased with the service. I would highly recommend this company!

Contacted them, they have been very busy. They came out looked at what needed to be fixed and replaced. Gave us a quote and told us they are approximately 5 weeks out and we understood. We contacted them and said we want them to do the work and they were able to get us taken care of sooner then they expected. The crew that came out were very professional and they cleaned up afterwards. He explained everything they did and what to do if we have any questions. We highly recommend them.
