Setys Ace Hardware

Great staff, and even in their temporary setup, they have the best selection you can find for a long way in every direction from where I am out in the mountains.

Although the main store burned down a couple years ago, they found a way to keep business running and keep people supplied while they rebuild the main store across the street. I was told that it should be done by about this time next year, but I believe they might be opening for partial operation in the rebuilt store as early as spring 2025.

We went in for some bee spray. They have set up shop in shipping containers as they had a devastating fire, they have an amazing inventory and a very friendly staff.

Oh my gosh awesome folks there!! I had a natural gas stove conversion question and the gentleman named Gary went above and beyond to help me track down parts!!

Loved getting popcorn when I was little and coming here with my dad, this establishment will forever live on in my heart.

When I traveled through I stopped at setys because you can't beat the knowledge and helpful staff. Sad to see it destroyed by fire last night

Great little place. They are always extremely helpful, there is usually someone at the door waiting to assist you with any questions or finding stuff. A little on the pricier side but it is a small town.

Best ACE I've ever been to. They have the most phenomenal plant and garden section, great customer service, and a great selection of pretty much anything you could ever need

My husband and I get great service here at Setys Ace hardware store. People are so helpful and nice. I especially love the garden area and the awesome plants & decor.

The place is huge inside and out lots of Ace stuff ! LOVE THE PEOPLE THERE ! So nice and friendly always really to help and very knowledgeable. They do beat the price on some things and some they don't but with service like that I don't mind spending the little extra.

Never had any issues at Seth's Hardware. Great variety of merchandise for all home projects and essentials. Also a place you will find unique gifts to fit any occasion. Very quaint Hardware store with a country atmosphere.

Every small town needs a good hardware store and in Chewelah Setys is it. They carry a good selection of all the incidentals needed to maintain a home and garden. As a home owner I always seem to find a reason to visit Setys.

I really used to love this place until Friday July 8th. Sety's Ace Hardware has a local known criminal working for them. There is also another employee that swears in front of children all the time. What is wrong with this picture???? Oh so much! Local business or not, this isn't somewhere I want to spend my hard earned money! Oh and to top it off last week they fired an honest hard working employee that showed up and did his job simply because of where he is staying and the past reputation of the property owner. That's a small business showing they don't care about the community.

Very good hardware store. Small town. BUT.... SETYS HARDWARE is very well stocked with lots of options. Staff is readily available to help you out.. A plus.. :)

Their new building is open. Pretty cool the retained a lot of the original brickwork and their sign inside the store.

Excellent selection. Everything you need will likely be here. If they add a bar and cigar room then 5 stars..

After asking a salesperson if I could return an item if it didn't work I took the item home to try the item did not work so I took the piece back to the store and was told by the cashier that the item could not be returned even though I had a receipt and was told it could be because it was an online order. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and I am so disappointed in that service I will never shop there again

I love shopping here. The aesthetic is so pure. You can't beat the small town feeling you get here. The selection is modest and the pricing is a bit higher than normal but this is typical for small towns so I'm not worried. The employees here are very respectful and all locals (please treat them with repsect!) And they are very motivated to help you with your needs. I always buy my pellets here (competitive pricing!) And I usually buy all my tools and accessories here.

They mail out discounts and offer a military discount one a month. There is also a section geared towards youngsters! So yiu can rung your kids when you go tool shopping also, since this is a small town location, there are plenty of non tool items to shop for! Like cast iron kitchen stuff and canning goods!

A most excellent Ace Hardware! I literally don't know what I would do without my local Setys and the friendly helpful staff working there. I was amazed the first time going there at everything they have, especially compared to Ace's in and around urban areas. J.C. the manager has been particularly nice and helpful, and got me all my plumbing needs along with some very helpful advice.

Hopefully they don't get tired of me after all my home-improvement trips there. =]

Employees are helpful but a bit too helpful. An older gentleman working was standing right at the entrance and was pushy about finding the one thing I needed. He showed me where the product was but wouldn’t leave until I clearly decided on which packing tape I was going to get. Was very strange to me

Very expensive way above markup for a small town only 45 minutes to an hour away from Spokane and prices are way high everything there is expensive I recommend waiting to go to Spokane to buy what you need instead of buying here unless you have no choice because that is what depend on big time. I buy from them all the time but the prices are way off the charts it's even cheaper in Colville than it is in Chewelah and that shouldn't be possible but the customer service is definitely great and very helpful but taking advantage of small City people when they don't pay any more for their stuff than the Ace Hardware in Spokane but they still charge much more for the products not cool !!

On expensive side, however they are convenient and will deliver! Don't bother trying to use the app coupons online, they don't work!

The folks that work here are super helpful and they have a decent selection of all things small town hardware. The garden center has expanded over the years with a lovely selection of flowers/ outdoor decor.
