So pleased with Cherry Roofing! From start of bidding process to completion it was seamless. Alec put us at ease, answered all our concerns. The workers were on time, friendly, hard workers, cleaned up afterwards. Had a supervisor return to check work and Alec returned bearing gifts and final bill and answered any concerns. They return free of charge in a year to check on everything. Over all a wonderful experience, and would definitely recommend them!

Cherry Roofing did a great gob for me! They replaced 32 plastic roof and pipe vents with metal ones because the plastic ones that were on my roof had started cracking. I hired Cherry Roofing for this work because I wanted to prevent water damage in the future. Needless to say, they did an EXCELLENT job. From start to finish, these folks were professional. Taylor in the front office was incredibly easy to work with and so courteous, too. Chad came out and gave me an estimate and explained clearly what needed to be done and why. Eduardo and Aaron showed up exactly on time to do the work. They did the job quickly and left the premises pristine. Billing was fast and efficient. If I ever again need roof work done, I'll definitely be calling Taylor at Cherry Roofing to take care of me. Highly recommended!

We had Cherry come out and inspect our roof after a couple of years of ownership per recommendation of our builder. Cherry found a couple of spots where the painters ladder had caused damage to the roof. They scheduled the inspection and repair quickly. The inspector and repair person were highly professional and explained the issue clearly.

Cherry did an exceptional job of reroofing our home, the quality and workmanship was wonderful. The guys went out of their way to answer all questions and concerns. They left my home and yard better than they found it, very considerate and conscientious about picking up every scrap and nail. I would truly recommend them.

I needed a new roof on my property that I had owed for 30 years. After getting a couple quotes settled on Cherry roofing. They showed up on the Agreed date and completed the installation in 2 days. They had to tear off some of the old Sheeting due to delamination and in about 10 places they had to replace rafters that had rotted due to water leakage down the nails in original roofing shingles. I would say it was a professional job, as you are not able to even know there was any repair work done. The 7 seven fellows that worked on the roof seemed to run from one project/location on the roof. All seemed to be proficient in all aspects of the installation. I would recommend Cherry Roofing to do any future roofing projects I have.

Cherry Roofing did an excellent job installing my new roof. They came out and gave an estimate, took photos and explained in detail what they observed that needed to be repaired with the roof. I even got additional quotes and sent them to Cherry for comparison. They have the best warranty that I found from my quotes that I got. The quality of the materials and the fact they have 24hour emergency service were the most important factors in my decision to go with them. I checked reviews on Malarkey vs GAF shingles and felt that the Malarkey shingles were the way to go. Plus they are made locally here in the Portland area. Doing business with a local company that has been in business for years also made me feel comfortable with them doing such an important item on my home. Completely happy with the end result and would recommend them for anyone I know that needs a roof. Very professional and provided updates along the way since this is the PNW and weather does change timing for this kind of project.

This is the second roof Cherry has done for us. They did such a great job on one of our rental houses that we did not bother getting other bids when our home needed a roof. Very professional, friendly, polite with every contact. The crew did a great job working two 12 hour days. No loud music or foul language and they did a great job protecting my plants that were just starting to flower. Highly recommend this company!

We had five companies evaluate our roof. Three claimed that our roof needed to be re-shingled right NOW, but two said we could wait about two years before we needed to be concerned. We were alarmed about the uncertainty of material availability due to tariff issues and the certainty of one or two annual increase in material prices. For peace of mind, we chose to have it done this year by Cherry Roofing.

The installation process went smoothly, although it was noisy (anyone with a sensitive pet needs to consider their welfare as the entire house will resound with scary and unfamiliar noises from above). The crew of six arrived in three trucks at 7:30 am, as promised, and it quickly became obvious that all of them were working together as a TEAM. By 9:30 the original shingles and vents had been removed and thrown into their dumpster. The crew worked very hard (our neighbors were impressed) throughout the day. Around 4:30 pm they finished, cleaned up the premises, and departed. The next day an inspector checked their work. Everything was OK.

Cherry’s estimate was not the highest, nor the lowest, but their sales rep Alec gave us confidence that everything would turn out great … and it did. We are very pleased with the results and suggest that anyone reading this consider Cherry Roofing.

I have to say that I interviewed several roofing companies some of which literally held me hostage in my house for up to four hours trying to push me into signing a work order with them on the spot! They played all the games of oh let me call my manager and see if I can get this price down for you. When Alec came for my interview with Cherry Roofing, it was such a startling different experience. He came and got on the roof and did his work up there to gather the information that he needed to give us a quote and had the ability to print the quote right in my driveway and so when he came inside, he didn’t start the sales show , He gave us the facts and handed us the quote and that quote was the only quote there was, no over pricing things and then working their way down to something that was honest it was just this is what it is and it was less than half of two of the places that we had interviewed. He was here for less than a half hour and we had all the information that we needed and he didn’t ask us to agree to use them or sign any work orders he was laid-back and confident in what he was showing us and said give me a call and let me know if there’s anything we can do to help you. I knew before he even left that that’s who we were gonna go with even though I had another couple interviews after that. They came and did the work. We had a 31 year-old roof on our house when we bought it.We had trucks all over the place and guys all crawling up on the roof and they just came in like a well oiled machine, a well trained army and they did their work for two days and when I came home from work the second day when they were done, you could not find a scrap of roofing paper or roofing materials anywhere on our property. They cleaned everything up beautifully. It looks like they were never here except that now we have a beautiful new roof. I am extremely happy with the investment I made with Cherry Roofing and I am ecstatic about the value of what I got in return!

We had some work that needed to be done on our roof. Unfortunately it was due to a faulty part that Cherry had used in the install. It wasn't their part that broke - another company had provided it. But it was a frustrating problem to have 6 years in on a brand new roof. But the folks at Cherry were very timely in their response and were able to fix the issue quickly. We then took it a step further and had them replace the other parts that could also fail (same part as the one that did fail) as well as had them do a moss treatment. Not cheap but Cherry was timely, took pictures of their work, and were great with communication. Good experience with Cherry overall.

I've used Cherry Roofing twice. Once to repair a leak and then to replace my roof. With the leak, they identified the issue without trying to spell out problems that were not there to gain more money. For the replacement, they were timely in their completion and also with their follow up. They are not the cheapest but stand behind their work and they do a great job. So worth it.

We live in a very rural area and finding roofing contractors was a difficult process. We had many issues with companies not showing up or deciding they didn’t want to provide us with service. Cherry Roofing came through for us.
I was impressed from the very start with the excellent presentation of services available without any high-pressure salesmanship. Alex is very personable. He answered all our questions professionally and with knowledge of the product and process. He took the time to thoroughly evaluate our project.
The communication from Cherry roofing leading up to our installation was outstanding. We were given frequent updates on our install dates and what to expect from the beginning to end of our project.
The installation crew was wonderful. They put it a 10-hour day on day 1. While they were removing out old roof, I took note that our dogs water bowl had gotten a lot of debris in it, and I needed to change it when the crew left. After their very through clean up I went out to replace the water and found that the crew had already done so. This small gesture of thoughtfulness really impressed me. I don’t believe many people would have even noticed this.
Our project too 3 days and the crew consistently worked very hard every day and were well organized. The cleanup they did at the end of the day, each day was remarkable. If you didn’t see the roof, you wouldn’t have known we were having any work done. The crew communicated with us daily. The only drawback here was that there was a language barrier that resulted in a miscommunication of some additional work that need to be done.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the services Cherry roofing provided us and would highly recommend them. Their commitment to quality and customer support was impressive.

I live in a neighborhood with 5-7 years old homes. Some of the builders used inferior materials on our roofs, and I wanted to have my roof inspected to prevent a leak. Cherry Roofing was great, they came and replaced the flashing around the vents and made sure there was no exposed nailheads. I would highly recommend them and I’m telling all my neighbors to have their roofs inspected by Cherry Roofing.

My Shop had build-up of Moss but also several plastic Roof Vents that were cracking (after about 12 years) which led to some leaks. I elected to get the Moss taken care of as well as replace ALL the Plastic Vents with Metal ones.
Cherry beat another companies quote by about 8% and added Fall Prevention connections and a Vent Pipe Flashing as well.
The crew arrived promptly and was neat total clean-up. The Shop Roof now looks great without the Moss and no leaks at the new Vents.

Big roofing project, by Cherry Roofing. Over 6,000 SF of roof, with high pitch and multiple gables. Pleased with the workmanship and the project went smoothly from start to finish. Was getting ice dams on the back of the house, during the recent winter freezes. The whole area was reinforced, with snow and ice barriers, in addition to Malarkey underlayment. Communication was great and workers mindful of the property, to include cleanup. Highly recommend.

Quality work......took just one day to tear off old shingles and put on new. Also re-roofed my shed at same time.

June 2020 Cherry roofing replaced the roof of a house I would later purchase in October 2020. Pre purchase inspections found a bunch of black mold due to poor ventilation. Cherry Roofing came out and added some venting and replaced some (not all) of the plywood with mold growth. I had a reinspection and again a large amount of mold was found. Seller claimed Cherry roofing would fix the issue and it was covered under warranty.

A short time after closing I had cherry roofing out and they claimed they could find no mold, despite an inspection report with time stamped photos of the mold. Long story short due to having a newborn child and the pandemic following up again fell off my radar.

January 2024 my roof had a major leak that caused 70K in damages. Cherry Roofing came out again and of course claimed the roof looked fine and it was a freak thing that was not preventable called an ice dam.

August 2024, I contacted multiple other roofers to mitigate risks of future leaks. The roofers both told me there was inadequate ventilation in the addict, mold and that future leaks could be prevented with preventative measures. Both roofers recommended that I make Cherry roofing fix the mold in the addict and add proper ventilation.

I had an inspector come and reinspect the roof and of course again find mold. Both the inspector and the roofers reported that the mold was not difficult to find and were not sure why Cherry roofing would have any trouble locating it.

I had Cherry roofing return and low and behold this time they located the mold. They immediately began blaming anything and everything for the mold expect for their roofing job of course. They claimed the roofers were trying to get me to pay them for unnecessary repairs (both roofers said I should make cherry roofing repair it and never gave me quotes). They tried to blame my air ducts leaking into the addict (I had a new furnace installed in 2023 and a pressure test completed, no leaks found). They then blamed my insulation and continued to try to convince me it was caused by anything but their shotty work.

Long story short they did a horrible job. 3-month-old roofs done properly would not have mold growth, especially during the summer months!!!. They are refusing to replace the moldy plywood they obviously did not replace when replacing the roof. They refuse to add more ventilation. I now have to pay out of my pocket to hire another roofing company to fix my roof and a mold remediation company to remove the mold. This will likely cost me more than 10k…..

From the onset until to payment, the process was seamless. Using their website was facile and the follow up to the initial inquiry was prompt. Alex came out and provided a thorough overview of the proposal and different options. We set up a start date that suited both parties and leading up to the start date, we received several texts confirming the start date. That was a very nice touch as this provided a sense of comfort.

The start date coincided with the recent heat wave and we contacted Alec to state that we were OK delaying for the safety of the crew. He reassured us that they had accounted for this and they were done in two days! Communication was consistent throughout the process.

Long form: We got nine bids for a new roof, did a deep dive on what each company offered, how thoroughly they inspected our current roof and attic, and then compared bids side by side. Cherry Roofing (the fantastic Alec B was our sales contact and project manager) stood out in a number of ways - they offered quality materials, seasoned, professional fully-staffed crews, were extremely responsive, and offered a number of included services that appealed to us (a final QC inspection after the work was done by a foreman who was not on the job to ensure everything was done to perfection; a free 12-month-mark follow-up inspection to make sure the new roof held up well in its first rainy season). Sure, we could have saved a couple thousand if we were willing to go with a company that ran a super lean ship, was hard to get ahold of due to limited staff, had only basic equipment/beaten up vans, and took 5-7 days to do the work. We decided that was not for us. Honestly, a new roof is always going to cost a decent amount of money, so we decided to hire the best roofing crew we could afford. On the day of the project, Cherry Roofing came out in full force. They brought 10 guys and a foreman, multiple vans, two dumpsters (one ground, one that raised to roof level). The sheer amount of top-notch equipment and crew members was awesome to see. The crew was a well-oiled machine. They worked super hard (and fully harnessed at all times). Everyone knew what to do, where to be. We were happy to see that the crew took breaks together throughout the day to rest on the ground, so everyone would be sharp on the roof when it was time to go up again. Everyone was extremely professional and respectful of our property. Our roof was all stripped and covered with the under-layer before lunchtime, then came the crane shingle delivery, and then the guys were nailing until dinnertime. The cleanup was extremely thorough - we have kids and dogs, so this step was important to us. The Cherry Roofing crew went above and beyond to ensure they left our property in pristine condition. Not a scrap of anything was left behind. They picked up all nails with a magnetic metal detector, painstakingly and diligently. I saw a crew member gently looking in the hydrangea bush out front to make sure there was no garbage hiding inside. I cannot imagine work done more thoroughly. Truly good people doing quality work. We are so happy we went with Cherry Roofing. They were the mid-range bid, price-wise, out of the many companies we spoke with, and they were simply fabulous to work with. The communication, the scheduling, the work done, the whole process was flawless. I did not have to worry or project manage a single thing. It was all taken care of. Pardon the essay, but these guys are IT. The best! Hire them and rest easy. We will recommend Cherry Roofing to anyone and everyone.

Out of six companies we interviewed only one stud out for us. Tylor from
Cherry Roofing told us that he noticed the blackness on the gutters on one corner of our house and he wanted to check the attic. He told us that our bathroom ventilation was not installed properly and we needed more ventilation in the attic. They were the only company that went into the attic and the only one to tell us about the our problem. But we really didn't know how bad it was until they took off the roofing shingles and noticed wood rot on that same side as the ventilation pipe*. After taking off the rotten wood they noticed all the black mold inside the attic* and all the ventilation holes where blocked. Tyler told us that they will take care of everything and we might breath better. Since we moved into this house we have been dealing with breathing problems.
The company has incredible communications between the homeowner and the person watching over our project. They kept in touch with us even after the project was done. The crew was professional and friendly. The company cares about their workers safty because they used safety harnesses*. We watched another Roofing company next door and they were not using harnesses. We made the right choice. We had no worries and they made sure everything was cleaned up. We love the way our new roof looks like* and we can breath better. Because of Tylors guidance, he made the project painless. We would recommend this company to anyone that wants the roof done right. Cherry Roofing was very professional from the first phone call to the repair work. All personnel were highly competent and experienced. Cherry Roofing was very responsive to my mystery roof leak. They worked around my schedule and the weather to get onsite. The technician was informative and very diligent in identifying the source of the leak and performing permanent repairs. I highly recommend Cherry Roofing.
