If you need heating,cooling,roofing or solar CSM is the company you will want to use. We have a small facility and all other HVAC companies were priced too high and wanted to do extra work that was not needed for the size of the office we have. Seth came out and explained in full detail the process for installation. Once my corporate office approved the quote Seth set a date and came out with the installers everyone was very professional. It was a very seamless process that I did not have to worry about as we continued working with no interference from anyone. Once they were done the installer showed me how to use the unit the outside electrical and panel for the unit in detail . They gave me all the permits to have on hand when the state and city inspectors came. Again everything was seamless and received a follow up from the office if I had any questions. I highly recommend CSM to anyone that have HVAC needs.

We needed to replace our 20 + year old heat pump + propane furnace system.
We contacted about 4-6 HVAC firms that serve Mason County and got about 5 quotes.

CSM gave us the best price for a high-quality Trane System.
We have been using the system for both heating and cooling. It works well.

Throughout the process they were very responsive and organized.
In February they got us scheduled very quickly, I think less than 2 weeks.
They were supposed to finish in one day. However, it started snowing & had to leave about 2 hours early due to road conditions. They came back the next day & finished promptly, which worked out fine.

We qualified for a Mason County PUD 3 funding which we applied to the replacement heat pump system. CSM & PUD 3 worked well to apply the funding to our new heat pump system. CSM is a Union Shop. Their Union even sent us a rebate check which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend them. Thank you CSM staff.!

Two story roof replacement: From initial contact for a bid to job completion CSM Roofing gets an A+ from me. Courteous, thorough, performed all work as scheduled, excellent quality of work, great work crew (worked fast but did not looked rushed, worked very well together, replaced all deteriorating wood on the roof and the facade (eaves), on request painted them to match existing color scheme of facade (I supplied the paint and painting supplies)), Showed up at the scheduled time and completed the work on a 2,900 sq. ft. house in 1.75 days with a crew of nine including scheduled breaks. Observed good work safety practices. Did a great job where the roof lines met and on all the edges. Made sure all nails and roof debree was removed from lawn flower beds, and driveway. Cleaned the gutters twice.
In my opinion, you will get a good job at a competitive price if you decide to go with CSM Roofing.

We had these guys install a split AC several years ago in a previous house. They did such a quick and flawless job back then, we decided to hire them back again to install at our new home! They did a great job replacing my old roof. They paid close attention to detail to insure a quality installation. The price I was quoted was the price I paid when the work was completed.
Had several heavy rains since the new roof was installed. Did a very close detailed inspection and found the new roof to be a 100% watertight.

Highly recommend. We had 3 estimates and although all 3 companies were very good to work with, we thought CSM gave us the most comprehensive overview which allowed us to feel good about making an informed decision. When we phoned on a Monday to ask about moving ahead with replacing our gas furnace they scheduled for the following Thursday. Installation took a total of 4 1/2 hours. The salesman, Jason was excellent, the office personnel were not only easy to talk to, they were funny! AND the installation crew were very nice, polite and explained everything in detail afterwards.

Not a great experience. Better be sure you don't get bullied into a new thermostat cause that's what happend to us. Jason was clear we had a choice of thermostat and we notified him with plenty of time of our choice. You didn't update the quote, hows that on me? The fact it was left there is a very clear indication that you were always going to charge us for it. He notified us the day of install that it wasent compatible. 30 mins before the installers needed to leave to get here. And they totally just expected us to accept the extra charge. Either lack of knowledge or lack of transparency is how we got here. We won't be using them for our other two houses, which would have been great for their business. Office Manager ruined that for them. And, if we had a mistake then not charging us at all for the thermostat we didn't want is what I would expect. What I got was a very upset manger, hell bent on defending her employee. They sent an inexperianced sales person who ultimately gave us bad information and then praise him for giving us $200 of the $400 thats on the quote that they didn't update. The manger says is it really that big a deal...over $400. Yes Ma'am it sure is. You did what you wanted instead of what we wanted. You didn't do me any favors you cost me money......It's pitiful and sad she is calling it honest. A company as well known as them and one thats been around for decades should have this basic knowledge. And if they messed up this very basic part of the process, then thats on you guys. All the installers here today as well as the electric company were asked and they are well aware that it isn't compatible.

Jason assumed even though he had a wealth of knowledge in his co-workers. He dropped the ball. And asking the customer to help cover the cost of that mistake is bad business. Miss office manager you can't seriously tell me that all the hands that touched our purchase not one of them caught the "honest mistake" The thermostat(s) compatibility with your unit is paramount information you claim not to have, I just think your full of horse puckie and I don't believe you. Jason emphized how he really tries hard to up sale the thermostat. And how you said that you always use a new thermostat and that he had already given us a good deal so whats $200 dollars to me, all while also refusing to tell me what the actual retail price of the thermostat was. Our Nest was never compatible with their unit, and now we have a big company office manager responding here(not the owner) and a sales guy claiming igorance about a thermostat I didn't want from the beginning....financing that according to Miss office manager was already set and done. I'm not here for that noise.

The manager was very upset and she was pushing me to decide. Telling me hurry up I need to know if I'm sending the installer or not. Even after I told her to send them to install she just wouldn't let up. I hung up on her, not something I make a habit of. They also need to refund a cement pad they charged us for.

The install team has been great so far. Very respectful and got right to work. They seem to be working together very well and are all super polite. My husband has been checking on progress and things are progressing smoothly as we had hoped.

Had Eric and his crew replace the roof on my house. They did a fantastic job. Removed the chimney and added overhangs on the table ends so water wouldn’t end up behind the siding. They were done in less than a day and the site was clean enough that it was like they were never there.

Had CSM roofing install a roof on our office building. They did a great job. Not only with the roofing but brought to our attention the damaged plywood and trim on our roof. They replaced all the bad wood and put on new roofing in a day. We’re very punctual and fast at there job, also did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day so my customers did not get any flat tires.

They did a house in our neighborhood and my husband went over to inspect what kind of work they were doing and although he initially was pretty whiney before talking to them, he sure did appreciate the professionalism of them explaining the how's and whys how their job works. (Certainly more patient than I coulda been) overall looks like it turned out pretty good and adds to the quality of the nice community we got here.

CSM did the roof at my buddies place. It was in shambles. I think he may have even had an animal up there at one point. Idk. They got the job done fast and with good quality. That roof was a mess before, but they fixed it real good. All in all, one of the best places to get your roof done. We had a ductless heat/cool system installed through Olympia's Energize Olympia program. CSM did an excellent job! First they figured out where the heads (4 of them) should be positioned inside, keeping the visual aesthetics in mind, and they figured out the most efficient way to place the wiring and hoses outside, while also considering how it would look. They were friendly, respectful, thoughtful, and paid attention to every detail, including clean up after the install. They also helped figure out the rebates we qualified for and handled the warranty registration (smart!). I highly recommend CSM, and also the Olympia program. We no longer need to crank up our horribly inefficient furnace. I'm looking forward to a warmer winter and smaller heating bills!

We had a wonderful experience with CSM Heating and Cooling Roofing. Seth our Comfort Specialist was very knowledgeable and professional. He created an estimate during our appointment and provided us with two options for a 4-head ductless system. Our install was immediately scheduled two weeks after our appointment. I consider this amazing and timely due to the busy season and beginning of summer. All 5 crew members, David, Matthew, Alfonso, Laine, and Byron ( can't remember his name, I apologize if I got it wrong) were all professional, kind and took the time to make sure their workmanship was what we really wanted. Our install was completed in a business day in a half. David returned the next day to complete the start up of our system. He explained the system function, the remote capabilities, city inspector follow-up, warranty, and expectations. David was very patient and answered all of my questions. Additionally, the office staff was very prompt, professional and responsive. We are very happy with CSM Heating and Cooling Roofing services and highly recommend We love our new Ductless System of course too, we feel spoiled!

We've had nothing but issues with the furnace they installed. I think every year we've had it its needed work done, last time we paid $1000 in labor since the first guy couldn't fix it. Now again, its not heating, not cooling and were probably going to have to pay through the nose to get it fixed. The previous hvac system my dad had lasted 40 years with no issues, switched to a heatpump and our winter power bills have skyrocketed and it's breaking constantly.

We just had CSM install new HVAC systems in our duplex rental. We had many bids and not 1 company told us about city, PSE, and union incentives to go from gas to electric and for half what we were going to pay for just A/C to be added - CSM got us new high efficiency furnaces, new heat-pumps, did all the electrical and fit us in, 2 days flat from bid.

Our 10 year old furnace suddenly stopped working on the weekend before an ice storm struck Chehalis. We called the emergency technician from Chehalis Sheet Metal and he arrived the same day and quickly diagnosed the problem. We decided that it was more cost effective to replace our old furnace and Chehalis Sheet Metal had the new one installed within 24 hours before the storm hit! Their help was greatly appreciated!

I purchased a replacement furnace from CSM and the experience was great from beginning to end. . The installation was quick, the price was very competitive, and the quality of the work was excellent.

My furnace stopped working on Friday evening. I called my furnace maintenance company (not CSM!) and they gave me an appointment on Tuesday. My son-in-law called Chehalis Sheet Metal on Saturday morning. Casey was there that afternoon! He said I needed a pressure switch, which got ordered Monday morning. I called Monday morning, hoping the part could be overnighted and asked about an electrician because I tripped the breaker Sunday from running space heaters. My arthritic fingers could not flip the switch off and on again. Paul arrived in about an hour! Charles installed the part on Wednesday morning! My heat was back on!! Best feeling ever!!
