CGM Carpentry

We have had Caleb do some deck work for us and three other projects around the house. I do not remember how we met Caleb but we sure are glad we did. He is very knowledgable, prompt and neat. We will continue to use him for our carpentry needs.

We had Caleb install a new Timber Tech deck to replace our old wooden deck. We torn out the old deck. Caleb said the framing was in good shape. Caleb does very good work and also kept in the communication loop as we had some pieces delayed from the manufactuer. He had to come back at a later date to finish the install and he was able to incorporate our wildlife panels with the new railings. We are very happy with the results and recommend Caleb to anyone needing carpentry work done.

Caleb does good work and is easy to communicate with. He always completes the job on time and leaves the site neat and tidy. I plan on using him for future work.

Caleb did above & beyond what we expected for our beautiful deck that attached to our pool.I would definitely recommend him for any deck job,hes very good,kind & cleans up everything.five stars,were so happy & love it!!!thanks again Caleb.

Caleb completed a composite upgrade of our old 800 sq ft wood deck. He does excellent work, keeps the communication lines open and is a diligent worker. We love our deck and will refer Caleb to anyone needing deck work.

Our deck was very old and really ugly. My husband dismantled the top but left the foundation which was in pretty good shape. We bought the supplies and Caleb built the deck and it looks great! Took him only 1 day too. Nice to work with and he's very detail oriented to make sure it was done right. Thanks so much Caleb!

We are so impressed with the results and the experience of working with Caleb. We have a large deck which needed to be rebuilt as many of the boards and railings were rotting. Caleb was extremely responsive and easy to work with and communicate with. He offered helpful ideas to ensure we got the end result we wanted and the workmanship is amazing. We chose a composite deck and railings so it's low maintenance and Caleb helped us see all the options we had available and the pros/cons of the different products.

We've worked with many contractors and Caleb truly stands out. He works hard, wants it done right, and doesn't take shortcuts. He completed our deck quicker than we were expecting and in a fraction of the time other contractors quoted. He doesn't take multiple jobs at once which is why he's able to do this. He focuses on the job, gets it done, and makes sure the work is amazing.The price was very reasonable and after seeing the quality of the work and how he was done without any delays, it was a bargain. Many contractors don't return calls or emails or make it difficult to work with them. Caleb is the opposite of that. He treats you with respect, values the relationship, and is easy to work with. He goes out of his way as well. Once when he had to run to a hardware store to get some supplies, he asked if I needed anything and was more than happy to pick up a few items I needed for another project my wife and I were working on which saved me a trip. Many little touches like that.

When needed, he brought on others to help with certain tasks and they held true to his standards and work ethic. They were focused on completing the job, doing it well, and exceeding our expectations. They were nice and respectful and treated my entire family with respect. The quality extends beyond the craftsmanship to the person and the team.

When he finished up the deck, I was so impressed I asked him to do another project which he did the following morning. That project was to remove a large dog door the previous owners had installed. He did it with care, replaced the cedar siding with new boards so it wouldn't be noticeable that there was ever a door there, and made sure it was well insulated and protected from the elements. He was also less expensive than other contractors we'd asked about for the project and he did a better job than what they described they were planning on doing.

He's now our go-to guy for all carpentry needs. He earned it and we trust that he will do the job well!

Caleb, was very responsive - knocked out the project in one morning. The project was securing a porch roof to the side of the house. He offered up a solution that worked great. I would use CCGM Carpentry again. John (Hartford)
