I went in to get a piece of oak panel and the service person took the measurements and got the piece cut and brought to me in 15 minutes. Very fast and efficient.

Excellent service and quality of lumber! I've been there a few times and the prices beat home Depot for what I needed and I didn't need to pick through 100 boards to find what I needed.

I wish that zero stars was an option on this. I built a new house and my GC recommended we use East Side Lumber. I cannot express how terrible of an experience this was. At first everything seemed great, but when it came to customer service after they had my money and items on order it was terrible. Their communication is atrocious, friendliness is not a thing, and I was even yelled at by them because I was "too involved". I was putting a lot of the house together myself and I was inconveniencing them when I was reaching out. I would not get responses for days or weeks, very short and unprofessional e-mails, many voicemails left that were never returned. Avoid this place at all costs. Drexel and others may be a bit more expensive, but I absolutely regret not using them. I felt like I was dealing with a company from China. Even my GC who recommended them said he won't work with them again. I hope this helps someone else who is looking to fulfill a dream of building a new house because this company made my experience terrible and not what it should have been.

There's a great service East Side supplies that's not mentioned but should be. Recently I needed an Anderson Door replaced and being a supplier they helped me order the door. I also had a garage repair project, tile roof. East Side gave me a couple of qualified contractors both of which I'd have gone with. Thank You East Side Lumber.

Nice people. Just wish they had better pricing and more products in stock, but I guess it's about what you expect from a small town lumber yard.

I needed plywood sheets cut to very specific dimensions for a project I am working on and have found it difficult to find a place to cut the wood. I looked up lumber yards on Google and came across this company. I called and spoke with someone who worked there via phone first and he took the time to answer all my questions and addressed my concerns. When I went to the store I was VERY pleased with the service I received. Upon walking in, I was greeted by one of employees. He then asked about my project and showed me options to fit my needs. After showing me the options for my project I selected the boards and had my pieces cut right there on-site and loaded into my car (way better service than anywhere else I've been for wood). The gentleman who helped me took the time to cut the wood perfectly based on the measurements I gave and took proper care to make sure those cuts ere correct by measuring pieces after cuts were made. So far so good! I got them home and they are perfectly cut and don't have any non-square edges (as I've gotten before at the big box stores). In the future I will definitely use this company to cut lumber and sheet. Over all I was EXTREMELY pleased with the service, price, and helpfulness. This place is kinda a hike for me, but is totally worth the drive. Will use in the future and recommend to anyone who is looking for either a good selection of lumber and sheet or just flat out great service. Thank you East Side Lumber Company!
