Fernando, with Certified Roofing Services (CRS), came highly recommended to me by two different friends. Fernando was prompt in coming to my home and giving me a quote. He explained the steps he would take and materials he would use for this project to give me a 50 yr roof.
He was professional and quite knowledgeable.

He is very busy yet the company fit me in within a few days, since all i needed was a small area fixed. Fernando was meticulous in fixing my roof. He is honest and definitely takes pride in his work.

In the weeks prior to my roofing job, my neighbors on both sides received new roofs. CRS provided a much better quality roof for me than what the other roofing companies provided my neighbors. Fernando doesn't cut corners.

I highly recommend CRSs to anyone needing a roof repair or replacement. He will give you an honest price for top quality workmanship. About a week after completing the repair, I received my 50 year warranty. You won’t go wrong with this company.

Fernando just got done patching two unused vent holes in my roof. He was super nice and showed me what he was doing, because I like to learn these things. The patches blend in perfectly; I can't even find where the vents used to be. Also, his patches are the strongest part of my roof now!!!

My 1920’s home looks and feels fantastic! If I could give 5 more stars, I would. Fernando was my main contact/ his team worked together seamlessly, always polite and respectful to each other and me. They stopped to answer questions and explained what and why. Clean up was throughly done.

Certified Roofing Services is a fantastic roofing company. Fernando came to give us an estimate on our 19 year old roof. He gave us a reasonable and fair quote. Fernanado seeing my mother is elderly offered to nail back the gutters that has almost fallen down in addition to the replacement of the roof. His team showed up on time and finished the work earlier than expected. He provided excellent quality materials and the roof looked beautiful after the work was completed. Fernando and the CRS team were super responsive and now that a couple weeks have passed, I can say that their work looks to be really solid. They did emergency tarping in frigid weather on the weekend, and it worked really well…no leaks even after a couple of weeks, and when we had questions about how things were supposed to have been done, the CRS TEAM drove back the very next day to do whatever it took to make sure we were “solid”. Good people doing their best to help others deserve a five star.

Fernando and his crew arrived at 8:30 this morning and had the job finished at 3 PM. His final bill was exactly what he had discussed with me the day he gave me his bid.. Fernando is honest & very trustworthy. I would hire Fernando for any future roofing jobs. Call him for an honest estimate.

The firm replacing our gutters pointed out some issues they saw where the roofing firm we had used in 2019 had not addressed water overflowing the metal flashing at two critical points, one on either side of the house, resulting in water going behind the siding and into the walls. The uniquely-qualified roofer the gutter firm recommended not only replaced the minimal metal flashing with more-than-adequate flashing but took up the asphalt roofing around the troughs where water flows heavily during rainstorms and put down underlayment that is meant to keep water from seeping into the wood sheeting. All in all a far superior job by Certified Roofing Services of addressing issues with heavy flow during storms. Unlike the original roofer, these folks not only know how to address unconventional issues such as ours but truly care that there will not be a repeat of the problems we had. With the seriously water-damaged wall area on one side of the house professionally repaired and the above roofing repairs made, the "fifty-year-roof" installed in 2019 may be an actuality.

I knew that I didn’t have an easy roof to begin with, a bungalow style home with multiple faces and 3 dormer windows. Fernando was so thorough in his initial overview on the project and noted he would be there to work on the roof with his team.

The team started and every step of the way Fernando shared progress each day and findings that neither of us expected. The previous owner had cut corners and used 1/4 inch plywood on the roof and not the standard 3/4. Fernando gave me the option to cover as it was, and the option to do it proper with the cost of new wood. I opted to do it right and was so appreciative of his expertise and the options he gave in case I couldn’t go the route that was recommended. Fernando did a beautiful job on my roof, was so wonderful to work with.I loved hearing his laughter and how he worked with his team daily. You can tell that he takes pride in his craftsmanship and supports those he works with.

Fernando recommended a siding and painting contractor to help with other updates from the project and now that all work is complete, he came back this afternoon to reapply screens I had to keep squirrels out and power washed my gutters and sidewalks to make the house sparkle with the beautiful new roof. He’s truly gone above and beyond.

Fernando came out very fast to give us a free no pressure estimate and go over types of roofing available and gave us options for what we needed for East County Area. He was very knowledgeable about the products he uses. We went with his recommendation of using the Arctic Seal on our roof. He gave us a quote and explained there could be unforeseen issues once they started taking the old shingles off. They were out within a couple days and began working on our roof. Fernando explained the job as they were going along keeping us informed of what they were doing and issues that arose. We are very happy with him and his crew they did an excellent job and we are highly recommending him. When they were done they cleaned everything up, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with their work. Note: Even with the added expense of unforeseen issues he was still $7000 under the other bid we received. They are very efficient and fair priced. If you want quality work at a fair price Fernando and his crew are the best.

Fernando and his crew replaced my entire roof including my shed .. He was good to his word .. I got 5 bids and CRS (Fernando) was the only one of the 5 companies who bid on my roof replacement who said they would build a cricket next to my chimney to keep water from slowly pooling up in a corner next to my chimney next to a wall .. The other companies didn't seem to want to take the time and effort to build one when I asked them about it .. He did a great job .. He also helped to remove an old wood stove chimney and repair and roof over that area where it penetrated the roof as well as building a support for my deck cover which protects the roof from damage .. Fernando and his crew worked about 11 hours each day striping the roof of 2 layers of shingles and prepping the roof to lay down new synthetic underlayment and then the shingles .. I was impressed with the quality of their work and Fernando's work ethic's , I highly recommend them ..

They worked very hard and professional. They found a bird nest on our roof, and transferred it to a small tree, not just threw away from the roof. They cared about the baby bird, I trust them also care about the project’s quality. They did improve our roof quality than the original one, they add more details to protect the roof. Fernando came right on time to blow off my roof, clean and paint interior of gutters, seal and replace screens. He put on the new roof last summer and said he would be back. Fernando was working on roof in the nieghborhood today and I asked him if he could clean a gutter at my house. I had a small section I could not reach with my ladder. He came right over and cleaned the clogged drain that would have taken me a long time. He also cleaned anout long run of gutters on the back side of my houe, He told me some tips for gutters to help them last longer. He is a very friendly and helpful person. The roof he just finished putting on the neighbors roof looks great. Thank you again Fernando.

Had a pretty bad leak from my roof. CRS came out and did a quick patch, then scheduled to redo the entire roof. Those guys on Fernando's crew worked hard for 3 days getting it done! The price was reasonable and the quality was stellar!

I discovered a leak on Monday evening, called Tuesday morning and before 10am they were here. Fernando checked it out, gave me an afordable quote and started fixing it right away. I even had them come back to clean the pine needles and moss off my roof and gutters. They left everything spotless, my driveway is actually cleaner than before they came!

We had a roof leaf appear on New Year's Day. Being a holiday, we were worried that we wouldn't find someone to make the repair. Carlos Roofing Systems was to our house in two hours! Fernando quickly identified and fixed our leak. He was very professional and thoroughly explained the problem. He took pictures to show us the damage, then again to show us the completed repair. I reached out to Carlos Roofing Systems in June 2019 for a quote on a removing the existing roofing, replacing with a higher quality asphalt shingle, and replacing 3 skylights. In addition, I needed improved venting for my detached garage and the house attic. I called on Saturday morning and Fernando was out later that same afternoon to look over my roofing needs, show some samples of products, and provide me a quote. Fernando shared with me his company’s proof of insurance coverage and certification for Malarky roofing material installation, which was something important to me for the warranty coverage. Later that evening, I received an email with my quote. Upon accepting the quoted offer, I received an email with the required contract documents to sign and return along with my deposit. I was provided a start date for about 2 weeks later which worked well into my schedule.
Fernando and his crew showed up right on time and they were all very respectful and maintained a clean work area throughout the project. Fernando cares about providing quality work and making sure the customer is satisfied with the job. He came up with a creative solution for the attic and was able to remove my gable windows to install gable vents as part of the overall solution which greatly improved my overall attic ventilation. Fernando is a trustworthy person, which made me feel comfortable in choosing CRS to take care of my roofing needs.
I would highly recommend CRS for your home roofing needs. They weren’t the cheapest option, but they were competitive. My priorities in selecting a roofing company was to make sure they were certified to install the materials I preferred, had a good reputation from other customers, provided a fair and reasonable job quote, and had employees I felt comfortable working with. 5 stars is not enough to reflect how satisfied I am with Carlos Roofing Systems! I contacted them (and several other local roofing companies) on a Friday morning with an "urgent" request for some unexpected repairs to my roof and gutter that were required after a chimney was removed. The repair was needed before rain damaged the area under the roof that was exposed. Carlos Roofing Systems came through and saved the day! Not only did they respond promptly, they rearranged their work schedule to send their main foreman to do the work personally on the following Monday! In addition, they made the extra effort to ensure an exact match with my existing roof shingles (I did not know the make or color - so they researched this on their own). Something which could have easily been overlooked given the rush nature of the job. The work was completed by mid afternoon on Monday and more than met my expectations! In addition, I really appreciated the fact that they did not take advantage of my "emergency" to overcharge me for the work. I plan on using Carlos Roofing Services for any future roofing related work and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an OUTSTANDING roofing company that cares about their customers!

Received a quote the same day they came to look at our home, and included items that I thought would be extra: ridge vent and new tin around the chimney. While doing the work, they found that special mounts for the deck and a extra vent for the second bath were needed. These were installed and included at no additional cost. They did a professional job cleaning up as the work proceeded, and also checked with me to make sure I was happy the way the job was going. I would recommend Carlos Roofing to any and all that ask.

Fernando was prompt, professional and skilled. They completed our roof replacement 3 weeks earlier than initially estimated. They supplied before and after photos. They cleaned up all debris every day. They worked entire day with only one break for lunch. The owner, Fernando, met with us after business hours to go over the bid so my husband did not have to miss work. Communication was excellent, we were always called back promptly the same day. Needed some repair work done on my gutters that I couldn't reach due to the lack of a tall ladder. Called CRS and Fernando was able to come out same day to meet me at my house after 5pm. He and 2 employees showed up in a very professional looking truck and shirts. They were able to do some minor adjustments and repairs in no time at all and even did a free roof inspection while up on on the roof fixing my gutters. The work was so minor, he refused to accept any payment. I will definitely be using CRS for any future repairs. Hard to find honest companies like this anymore.
