I had three estimates for my roof. CHI
Was the most knowledgeable and personable. My roof needed 79 new boards and the entire roof only 1 day! The employees were extremely helpful and kind. They cleaned up the entire yard and all I was left with was a beautiful new roof. Also had my gutters replaced and insulation blown into the roof. We couldn’t be happier! Jim, the owner, was the best to work with. Very accommodating and fabulous follow up. If you are looking for a new roof or siding, CHI is the very best!

We reached out to CHI for estimates on a new roof and gutters for our house and garage. Jim was prompt to respond, met with us in person to discuss options, provided samples and reviewed the quote with us in detail so there were no surprises.

The installation team, led by Ron, was very communicative during the process, on-time and took the necessary precautions around our house/landscaping. Once the project was complete, they did a very thorough cleanup around the entire perimeter.

Definitely would recommend CHI. It was a good experience start to finish. We really liked Jim a lot. We felt the estimate was honest and there wasn't any pressure to do it that day for a lower price like some other estimates we received. The crew was very efficient and they were cleaning up by the time I got home from work. We were finding some loose nails after and worried about our dog stepping on them but Jim came back himself to fix that and we haven't found one since. Very professional and experienced group of people. Very reasonable quote to re-roof my house and add insulation. They arrived on time and completed the job in a short time. Felt very comfortable with their recommendation for the products used for the shingles and roof vents , etc. great #Warranty offered. I can’t say enough about how professionally and timely they completed the job. The dumpster arrived in the street at 7:30 AM. Everybody was here by eight they made sure that the truck delivering had an extending arm that would bring things to the roof as not to have to drive on my brick driveway. And they were done shortly after noon. All extra precautions were taken. They took my planting pots and patio furniture and removed it from the house just in case a shingle or a nail should fall on it. They worked very clean and picked up everything. Definitely not a large corporation ! They made sure my roofing and insulation needs were matched to what my house needed. And it was a pleasure to work with them . Highly recommend them for any small or big job.

Everything started great Bobby is awesome at what he does. We had windows siding and gutters done. When it came to the windows it was a bit of mess but after a few time back and forth it was taken care of to 95% of being right. On to the siding Tommy and his team did an amazing job and really take pride in what they do could not have asked for a siding job.

When it come to issues after the job is “done” that’s were they fall short I have called multiple times to multiple different people of their organization they came out once and kinda fixed the issue but not 100% called a few more times about the same issue but sadly nothing has been corrected if you want a great siding job done ask for Tommy to do it.

Jim’s team did a great job on our roof. They tore off our existing roof and put on the new roof all in one day! The crew was very professional. They took pride in cleaning up as they worked. Even replaced a sheet of plywood free of charge where our roof was leaking into our bathroom.

I had my roof reshingled thru CHI, they are awesome, the supervisor for the crew was here before 7, Ron is the best, he ran his crew so smoothly, every step of replacing my roof flowed seamlessly, shortly after he got here, his crew arrived, the dumpster came shortly after that. When the roof was just about ready for shingles, they arrived, every step was timed perfectly. They were done and cleaned up before 2pm. I would use them again.

This is the second time that I hired CHI for a roof replacement. The initial job was for my primary residence and now for a rental house. Great experience overall. Denny is fantastic. I highly recommend CHI. Very honest and dependable.

The 5-man crew blew in insulation and replaced my roof in one day. It looks like they did a good job, though I’m seeing the finished product from the ground. Another contractor friend was surprised they got all that done in 1 day with that size of crew.
Otherwise, they were professional.
I did find a few nails on my driveway and had to sweep afterwards to ensure I wouldn’t get a punctured tire.
I have a vaulted ceiling in the living room. The force on the roof caused a few drywall nails to poke through the living room ceiling. The owner gave a discount for me to supply my own contractor to fix.

CHI replaced a roof on our garage and did an excellent job. It was easy to set up an appointment to discuss the project and the company was responsive. The crew was professional and did a thorough job including cleaning up afterward.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

CHI has done so much work in our home. They did our roof, gutters and siding on both the house and garage. They did our kitchen and living room remodel. We went away on vacation and they came and did most of the work before we ever got home. I recommend CHI for all your home improvement needs.

They did a wonderful job. The only issue was all my wood was bad and they had to buy 40 pieces of roof sheeting that I was charged $60 apiece for. When I checked the price at Lowe’s where they purchased it it was $10 apiece so I’m a little disappointed that I had to pay $2400, (Actually he discounted it by $200), For new wood when the materials were a little over $400 I understand he has labor costs but that’s quite a bit of difference. And I know I check the correct price because a piece fell on my deck and I took a picture of it but other than that the job was great.

CHI was fast at coming out to assess out leaking roof problem. They were able to come out and replace our whole roof and garage roof fast and efficient! Even took down a crumbling chimney for us. All of the crew was super nice and courteous. We have 3 dogs and we were super concerned about all the nails and debris being picked up from the yard. They had some crew just cleaning up the whole time and even left a couple guys behind to thoroughly go over our yard with magnets. We were very appreciative of that. Fast, professional, great pricing and courteous. Would recommend them to everyone needing some work done!!!Thanks CHI!

I guess I should have checked this before I hired them for a siding job on my garage, since siding is not listed in the services they perform. My bad. Let's just say, the customer experience was more of a hassle than not. I found many nails scattered on the ground around the work site. They promised me they would use some sort of device to make sure all the nails were found. Not!! Then I was shocked to see some of the siding come loose after a storm since it was just installed this summer! The sales guy and manager were disrespectful and unprofessional. To this day they have not corrected the crooked siding they installed around a window. It's not even worth my time to reach out to them again. Always do your due diligence and check Google reviews before signing a contract. I wish I had taken my own advice.

These folks just put vinyl siding and gutters on my house and it looks amazing! They were on-time, courteous, communicative about scheduling and I would highly recommend them.

We had CHI do our siding and gutters from the very start Bobby was very professional and explained every step of the process. Not only did he get me the product no one else was able to get but he got it fast. He checked with me often to make sure We were completely satisfied with the progress. Then we had Dave and Jay doing the install these two went way above and beyond from wood replacement to hanging new lights back on the house and Garage. I cannot express how good these two gentlemen are at their craft . The house and garage came out better than we ever thought. Keep up the GREAT work CHI it was our pleasure doing business with you.

They did my siding roughly two years ago. It came out great. However, DTE flagged that they damaged my meter can when they removed it, which explained the brown outs I've been getting since. Cost me $1500 to replace it. Their siding work is good, but when they cause $1500 worth of damage in the process. No company is worth that. I won't recommend them to anyone anymore.

This company is the best. I had 4 other roofing estimates but could actually tell CHI cared about your business and you as a person. Denny was the guy that came out and gave us the estimate. Denny was super friendly, informative and just a great guy but was not pushy at all. A few other roofing companies were like " this deal only lasts a week" or could tell they were typical sales men.

The roofers were on time, all very friendly and respectful and they got my roof put on in less then a day. Chris supervised the many guys who put up the new roof and was very great to work with. They had the job and cleanup like a great assembly line.. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. They did a great job, did EVERYTHING they said they would, cleaned up well and their warranty is better then any of the other companies I had gotten estimates. I have had Many things done with my House or Cars and this company was probably the Best Company I have Ever dealt with. Actually did what they said they would and were very helpful and did not mind questions. If you are thinking of getting a new roof I would for sure contact these guys .

I just want to give a huge shoutout to Denny Ashley, He showed up exactly on time, was incredibly kind and understanding about my situation, was very quick and thorough with my inspection. He gave me a really great estimate and explained things to me I didn't know about before. He was even kind enough to help me pick a shingle color! I will come back and update this once the roof is replaced but I have no doubt in my mind it'll still be a 5 star review. If you've been calling around and getting estimates from other places I highly suggest throwing away your list and call these people instead you won't regret it.

Months later I am extremely happy with my roof and gutters from CHI. The company is first rate they were ahead of schedule, reached out to make sure I was still satisfied with the job. I would recommend them to anyone looking at getting a roof, gutters or siding. They did a beautiful siding job at my old house.

I found CHI through a neighborhood chat app , they had glowing recommendations. I scheduled 3 different companies for estimates and I was most impressed with CHI, in their response time, honesty, comprehensive packet and patience with our questions and competitive pricing. We had the new roof installed while on vacation. Our neighbor observed their professional behavior and was so impressed she wants them to replace her roof. It looks great and we’re very happy with our new roof. All around, I’d say that we made the right choice.

From the informational call, to the estimate, to the installation everyone I interacted with was polite and professional! Job was done in 1 day and looks beautiful. The team made sure they cleaned up afterwards and were courteous of the limited parking on my street. Price was reasonable and they offered financing options to help. Siding, shutters and gutters were installed. From Bobby our salesman, to Ron and siding crew, we were extremely happy with CHI! Just had a roof installed. Quality work! They even trimmed tree limbs that hung over roof. Showed up on time. Completed in one day! Friendly workers. Considerate of plants and bushes!

Ron and his guys installed 37 sheets of wood and re roofed the low pitch flat roof, they did an awesome job! These guys work hard and do top notch work. Everyone I interacted with from CHI was professional from Denny to Ron and his crew and the woman answering phones in the office. A1 . I would recommend.

I had a botched roofing job from a different contactor 15yrs ago that had caused premature ware and plywood to buckle. I was very skeptical about paying out big money just to get taken again.
From a few other companies that I had spoken with, Jim from CHI roofing was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with all of his answers to my questions. Not just beat around the bush answer.
All said and done, CHI had provided a very reasonable quote and did a fantastic job. The job had only taken one day which was a surprise given that I knew it was going to be a complete tear off with numerous plywood panels needing to be replaced. After the work was completed, the roof looked great and the yard showed no signs of them even being there. Heck, they even cleaned out my existing gutters which I didn’t know until the following day when I went to clean them for just in-case.
Bottom line is, I feel very confident that I now have a roof that will last well beyond my previous one and I would gladly recommend Jim and the CHI crew to anyone that would need a new roof.
If you are shopping for a new roof, I would highly recommend adding CHI to your list of companies to call when shopping around. I don’t think you will be disappointed with the price or quality of work.

Certified Home Improvement, LLC was by far the BEST roofing company I have ever dealt with. They are courteous, punctual, work clean and efficiently, are well mannered and go ABOVE AND BEYOND for their clients!! Below I my new roof and gutters, gorgeous!! And, when I was waiting for my roof to be done and had a hole in my rood they came out and tarped it for me! Also, when a piece of siding was coming loose after my roof was fixed (and if was from some attached wires being pulled by grapevines) they came out, helped me remove the vines, fixed up the siding, rehunng the wires and was WONDERFUL! I would highly, whole heartedly recommend them to friends and family with no hesitation. Great Job CHI!!! I love my roof!!!

After posting this review I was called by the owner of CHI. He was very understanding of my concerns and found it shocking that his company had done this work. He did everything within his power to make things right. My gutters were replaced and my house finally looks the way I imagined it when I initially contracted CHI.

It was a long road to get to this point but the nice people at CHI came through in the end and I appreciate their customer service.

I have been very unhappy with the quality of work from this company. I contracted them to install a new roof and gutters and check for rotten facia boards and replace if necessary. When they replaced the gutters they did not replace the facia that was clearly rotten. They had to come out again to replace the facia but was told that I would ha e to paint it myself. When the finally reinstated the gutters they made no attempt to clean the gutters, they were covered in dirt, mud, and grass.
If you’re looking for a company to handle the job completely without you having to climb on a ladder, do finishing work, clean up after them then Certified Home Improvement is not your answer.

Everyone I felt with was extremely nice but that does not change how I feel about their quality of work.

Denny knew exactly what I needed, and gave me a great price! He didn't try to force a lot of things on me that I didn't want or need. He was very personable. Enjoyed talking to him.

Had 10 windows, full house siding, and gutters installed. Removed old windows, old siding and installed new (house didn't have old gutters) Bobby (sales) was incredibly knowledgeable and worked hard with manufacturer to get me the color I wanted (was being put on hold by manufacturer - Bobby was able to secure what I wanted) Ron and his crew (installers) did a fabulous job - they got done in less time than was anticipated and got my yard cleaned up well when they were complete. I heartily recommend CHI.

The crew was professional, friendly and fast. Less than a day for tear-off and replacement of both house and garage. No leftover nails or garbage. I will absolutely use them for my next home improvement project.

Certified Home Improvement did our siding replacement project, and we are very satisfied throughout the process and happy with the outcome. Bobby was great from the beginning to the end. Bobby was very detail oriented, super responsive, and recommended a siding color that fits with our house very well. Bobby ordered the Alside CharterOak siding that we wanted the day we signed the contract. It turned out that there was no inventory in the local Alside supply center, and there was a long lead time ordering from the factory. Bobby was resourceful, and found the siding in Ohio and arranged to ship it to Michigan. The permit was pulled from township well in advance. Before the project started, Bobby arranged to have temporary covering for the holes on our existing siding, just as he said he would do. The project started around late April, 2021, close to Bobby's original estimate and took a little over 2 weeks to finish. Dave came over and looked at the project ahead of time. The crew: Dave, Jay and Eric did a great job. They inform us what's going on and explained to us what they did each day. They put away the tools and clean up at the end of each day. All in all, a great experience for us. We would recommend CHI for siding projects to our friends.

We hired CHI to replace some rotting wood around the outside of our new home, cover it with siding, and replace our gutters. They were very easy to work with, pricing was good, and their work looks great. We are very happy we went with CHI.

Bobby is amazing! I have to say he was the main reason I went with this company. Their pricing was right around all of the other quotes I received. Their work is amazing, they even suggested the decorative sunburst at the peak of my gable. I never would have thought of that. It broke up the solid color really nicely.
They were down a few guys on the crew so the job took a little longer than anticipated. But the siding looks amazing. I’ve had a few questions since the job was complete and Bobby has worked with me throughout it all.

They were professional on the phone. I was referred to them by Tittle Bros Construction for flat roofing matters. Unfortunately Tittle's recommendation didn't bode well.

I was looking for a labor estimate to replace my 350 sq ft flat roof. I have most of the material too, but unfortunately they can't allow labor only and additional flashing and gutter supply and they said they are also filled up for the season. It's a big shame of course as flat roofers are hard to come by.

Could not be happier with my roofing and gutter installation. Fair pricing and professional installation of my new roof and gutters on my home. Kevin and his crew worked extremely hard and were conscientious of all are needs.

We got our siding done in March 2020. When I asked about any boards needing to be replaced because of rot, the lead contractor said no everything was fine. After they left, we were able to see the blue installation in the garage even though it was previously covered with wood (huge issue trying to get someone out here ). Next issue was the sheer amount of waste left- everything under the sun was left including half drank Gatorade. Since March, we've had several pieces of siding come loose. CHI has been out twice to fix them.
I called Mid-July about another piece coming loose, it was "fixed" that day. 2 days later that same piece is loose.

Their only redeemable quality is they respond relatively quickly.

I just received an estimate from Certified and to say I'm impressed would be an understatement. Customer service is everything! It truly leaves a lasting impression with the client. Not only were Ryan (Bubba) and Chris very friendly, they went the extra mile and put some sealant around our skylights (2) so we can get thru this rainy weather a lot easier, until we get new skylights. We still have 2 more estimates scheduled with 2 other companies, but I must say these guys have set the bar really high. Thank you so much for the awesome customer service and for actually caring!!!

Forgot to add, we ended up going with this company and they did not disappoint! Awesome team and got both skylights replaced! If anyone wants good service as well as good work, give them a call.

We had CHI do our siding and gutters. Worked with Alvin(who is no longer with the company) mainly. They had the project done on time. Less then a week later we noticed that the installation caused damage to our interior (particle board like insulation)
that you can see from inside the garage. We texted Alvin, and he said he would get back to us. As we were going spring chores we found a couple hand full of nails. Covid happend, and so they were not working. After they opened back up we didn't hear anything. I texted Alvin on memorial weekend because a piece fell off. He said he would take care of it. A week later nothing so i called the office. The owner came out he installed the piece that fell off. We talked about the damage that was visible in the garage. He said it is just causemetic, and sounded like he wanted to do it, but he finally agreed to it. After that was completed (we weren't home during the install) everything looked good, however we found three nails, a Gatorade, and two cigarettes butts inside our garage.

of all I would like to thank this company from the bottom of my heart and my family as well. The owner Jim is a caring, and very honest person. He recently helped my family, fix some things we needed fixed that was not even his obligation to fix. The problems we had was due to one of his ex employees that used his company name and credentials when we hired him. this person left us hanging, did horrible work, never finished the job, and basically took money from our family. After reaching out to Jim he did what he could do to help us fix the situation. The employees he sent out were very polite and understanding of the situation and did a great job to help relieve some of our stress. I would like to say than you Jim, thank you to the workers Jim sent to us, and I cant wait as a homeowner to have work done by your company in the future. If you want a company the cares about people, not just the money, you must go with CHI. We are still trying to figure out how to get this project done because of him, have all the materials but no one to help us finish, not because of CHi but because of whom I speak of next, who did nothing but take our money. ALERT, if you are consulted by a Chris Millisor, who claims to have worked for this company or is currently under contract with them, please contact this page and let the owner know. He has no affiliation with this company and hasn't for some time. So please do not get taken advantage of as we did. CHI Roofed our house 3 years ago and most recently worked on our skylight. Ryan did a great job and the office personnel were very helpful, this type of cooperation will keep me coming back!

CHI recently replaced my house and garage roofs as well as the gutters on my garage. Dealing with the company was a pleasure. Denny, the sales rep, was on time and explained the various components of the roofing system. He quoted a fair price, and there was no pressure to sign a contract unlike other companies. Rob and his installation crew worked tirelessly and completed the job in one day. They did an excellent job cleaning up all the debris. I would recommend CHI to anyone needing to replace their roof.

They were very professional and more than accommodating. The staff was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any question pertaining to home improvement. In addition to that Alvin made sure to go out of his way to make sure my grandmother was happy with the work that was done on her home!

We had a great experience working with the office representatives and installers when the fascia of our gutters were blown off during the wind storm in March 2019. Our 2nd call for repairs was to Certified Home Improvement. Everyone we talked to over the phone and in person was professional, courteous and knowledgeable about our issue. Prices were reasonable and we have not had any more problems. Highly recommended.
