Al’s Roofing is incredible. We’ve had several roofs replaced on multiple homes and some other exterior work done; by Al’s Roofing. Al and his crew are always fast, efficient, clean, and do very high quality work. The pricing is always fair and reasonable. Al takes great pride in his work and it shows through his communication—tons of photos of progress etc.
He’s even done temporary fixes during estimates when there’s been big issues (leaks etc). Can’t recommend him highly enough! Would give 10 stars!!

To begin, Al's was the only company whose estimator climbed up on the roof, evaluated the condition and measured and asked questions and let me ask any, before they even gave me a written estimate....efficient but not time consuming.
Then they offered me the lowest price of 3 other companies.
Eric helped me choose my shingles.
They did my job within a week! They did it all in one day (trust me this is a BIG deal) and it is beautiful! They were so careful and cleaned up my gardens and property perfectly. I did not have work done by them but the neighbor did and I am still picking up their trash. I approached them twice and asked that they do something about it. I ended up cleaning my yard. Still picking those plastic strips out of my bushes. Got a nice big piece wrapped around the mower blade UGH !!!!! I should not have to pick up after their crew especially when I'm not the one using your company.

They do AMAZING work!!!! The job was done fairly quick but without a drop in quality. They are also very respectful and efficient. I plan on recommending them to my neighbors as they have a rundown roof on the edge of falling apart but no matter how much i tell him johnny (neighbor) doesn't do a damn thing about it.

Even though my roofing or siding was not the cause of a leak I had in my basement, Al still went above and beyond to help me determine the cause of my leak so I could solve my problems as efficiently as possible. I will definitely consider this company again when the time comes to do roofing and siding replacement.

11/5-23 - based on the idiotic driving down Canton Center, and lack of concern for safety of others, I would highly question how much care this organization would put into work on anyone's home. Pulled out in front of oncoming traffic, crossing over into passing lane (instead of taking curb lane as you are supposed to). After hanging in passing lane, decides to gun it towards the stopped traffic to force his way into curb lane, rolling coal (something teenage boys think is funny, but 40 yrs old's must be compensating for) over vehicle he was forcing his way in on (stopped traffic at Ford Rd.). He did this so that he could get gas at Speedway. The lack of preparation and/or care for safety, not a chance I would ever consider this organization to work on my home. Might want to consider your driving when you are advertising you business.

Update: Trying to shift blame? I never left the lane I was driving in, never changed my speed. But whatever, if the attention you give to driving in any indication of the attention you give to work, it speaks volumes.

I had a roof damage from a tornado a few weeks ago. I called a couple of companies, Al's roofing and repair called me back quickly. Eric was the guy who came over and did all the repairs. He was not only fixing the roof, but also identified a few other places need to be repaired. He was very professional, polite, hard working, and honest (a quality rarely seen nowadays) . He kept the communications open, letting me know every step of the work. I would absolutely recommend him and his company! Call Al's Roofing and ask for Eric!

I have never hired Al for any work, but he has reached out to me to do painting work at some of his jobs. So having witnessing many of his jobs, I can say that him and his crew are very professional and do excellent work. Every homeowner I’ve spoken to that he has done work for, never have any complaints.

I called for an estimate to repair a small roof leak on my home. Steve came out and gave me a quote which I accepted and signed the proposal on the spot. He said that he could come out the next week and complete the repairs in one day and that he would call me and let me know what day. I did not hear from him so I called him to ask if he knew when he would be out and he said he did not know yet but would let me know. I never heard back from this company even though I signed the work order and scheduled the work. NO CALL, NO SHOW. What's the point of driving around writing estimates if you don't intend to do the work and just ghost people? Steer clear of this company!

We are new to getting roofing repairs and these guys were super helpful. Eric was responsive, explained everything step by step, did the work on time and the price was very fair. We’ll use them again in the future and I recommend them to anyone!

Al did a great job and the price was very reasonable. His partner , Steve fixed my siding and was equally good and fairly priced.

Al replaced the roof on my house 2 years ago and did an excellent job. After a winter storm he came over right away and inspected the roof where a huge branch had landed. So when it was time to replace the garage roof I called Al. He is thorough, and communicates exactly what the costs and materials are going to be before work begins. His workers are diligent, experienced, and clean up with precision. I've recommended him many times and those that chose to use him have thanked me. Quality work all around!

Al and his team provided thoughtful and efficient service during our roof replacement. Before any work began they ensured important features on our property were protected using plywood (tomato plants, large windows) and completed the work in one day. His team worked with intense focus but also seemed to be having fun and enjoyed working together. I saw nothing but smiles and cooperation throughout the day!

This was our first time getting a roof replaced so we had many questions and collected several quotes. His quote was reasonable and in line with others we received. Al took time to address all our questions but also shared his extensive knowledge about roof repair, replacement, and materials. Additionally, he provided a personal touch in his service that we didn’t find with anyone else. He was present during our replacement, performing some of the work himself alongside his team. When the wrong skylights were delivered (which was no fault of Al's), he personally traveled around town looking for the correct ones. He even vacuumed our carpet after the skylights were installed and tiptoed in the house during our toddler’s nap.

Even after all the work was completed, Al encouraged us (as he had several times before) to contact him if we have any questions down the line. Al’s Roofing and Repair came highly recommended to us and after our experience with them we also highly recommend them.

Al's Roofing and Repair replaced my roof in June 2022. Al is very experienced and responsive with excellent customer service. He will not try and oversale you on what you need to have a quality product unlike the larger roofing companies. You should consider his company if you are looking to have a replacement or repair.

I recently contracted Al's Roofing & Repair largely based on the Google reviews. I required a couple of pieces of siding be replaced, the removal of an old Dish installation and consultation on the general health and upkeep of the roof. This is my experience with this contractor.

My assigned technician was friendly, but appeared to either be stretched far too thin on jobs that needed attention, or he was a frazzled for some other reason. From making initial contact with Al via email, to the completion of the work, took roughly 45 days. After seeing what needed to be done, I feel this was excessive. Initially, the technician reported to the wrong address and startled my neighbor. Often, my technician would arrive to work on my home, begin work, then leave to do work on another property elsewhere. Sometimes he would return later the same day. More often, there would be a gap of several days without contact.

While working, my technician would throw used construction materials from the roof, onto my lawn. This includes the satellite dish, old lumber, roofing tiles and nails. After the completion of work, I found several instances of nails and old tiles in my lawn and around my home, which was very disappointing. I wouldn't expect this from a hired handyman, let alone a professional roofing company.

Much of the communication with the technician was confusing and sporadic. He would text me his intent to show up on a particular day, only to reschedule several times. There was confusion about which materials he would need, when he would get them, etc. Ultimately, he was unable to find matching tiles for the ones replaced. I did not receive a paper estimate at any point during the process, aside from a texted photograph. I requested a paper estimate more than once and I did not receive one.

At the conclusion of the job, my technician neglected to give me a receipt for the work, which resulted in me being unable to make my final payment for a few days.

I understand things aren't moving very quickly due to supply shortages and it being the season for many repairs to be done, but for the length of time the job took, and for what I ended up paying, I cannot recommend this contractor. If I didn't do a walk-around with a magnet afterwards, collecting nails and trash, somebody could have been seriously injured, and I find that unacceptable.

UPDATE: A $500 refund was offered and accepted.

Al is extremely knowledgeable about the roofing business and was able to give us a brand new roof for the most reasonable price in town. Installation was complete in one day from start to finish, and the cleanup was excellent. He even took care of a few things with our gutters and attic for no extra charge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Al and his team replaced our rotten carport with a great new rubber roof. Also repaired main house roof and went the extra mile. Julio made a special trip to install a custom made chimney top before a storm (not part of the job) - typical of their attention to detail.

Incredible business!! Had fascia trim wrapped, and new gutters / downspouts installed around entire house. Super quick scheduling, great communication, and honest/ transparent pricing. These guys really look out for you and offered a price that was incredibly reasonable for materials and labor. Very nice employees, work was done efficiently and didn’t even find one nail or debris left behind on our property when they left!!!

Al, was an all star to work with, not pushy, no gimmicks or sales tactics. Erik went above and beyond the requested job and even caulked some unsightly trim and sealed our chimney cap while he was up there on a ladder!

Will definitely use these guys again! Stay away from those big companies with salesmen you see on TV and use these guys!!!!

We were referred to Al by another company that didn’t do repairs because we didn’t know the extent of the wind damage to our roof and from the moment we called him he and his company couldn’t have been more professional and helpful.

Once he saw what needed to be done he made what could have been an extremely difficult process very easy and clear. Sadly our roof needed replacing and every step he was clear about what needed to be done, what products he was using and how much it would cost.

Once we signed the paperwork not 3 days later his crew and he were at work by 8am and finished by 3pm (with breaks and he bought coffee for them).

Basically couldn’t recommend more absolutely great people to work with and our house looks gorgeous.

We have a two story, 4 car, barn style garage that needed a complete tear off. Al was not the least expensive estimate, but was the most thorough, and detailed leaving us feeling there would be few surprises. He was clear with what materials he would be using given the pitch of our roof, he looked at the areas that had some water damage and recommended low cost ways to mitigate those issues. Al was also very clear with any possible additional costs and what those might be and how he would work to make the best use of the materials he needed for the job.
I have had the misfortune of hiring some very dishonest contractors in the past, and I now will only hire someone if I am able to talk to previous customers. Al was more than willing to provide me with a list of references and proof of insurance. He also inspected our house roof to be sure that it was ok. The house roof is only a few years old, but was completed under the less than watchful eye of a terrible contractor. Al was able to put my mind at ease that the roof was completed appropriately but found a few areas that could be an issue down the line. Again he made some great recommendations on how to mitigate those issues as well. Al' was able to schedule the job within the week, his team showed up when he said they would and completed the job same day. His team was as thorough with the cleanup as they had been with every other part of the job. Everyone on the team was respectful to both me and my husband. They even tolerated our very excited 80 pound dog with kindness. All came back himself to check the work, be sure we were happy with it, and to run a magnet over the driveway and yard one more time to be sure there were no stray nails. There were no surprise additional costs. While I really don't think we will be needing any additional roofing work done for a long time, if we do, we will definitely be calling Al and will be strongly recommending him to family and friends.

I called Al on a Monday as my vinyl siding was needing to be replaced and he was at my house within a day with a quote, that was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. By Friday he was working on the house and finished it that weekend. He was very responsive and knowledgeable about the proper siding for my house, his crews were respectful and did great work to make my house look brand new! I would highly recommend him for your roofing or siding projects in the future.

Al has been one of the most helpful people I’ve ever worked with. He clearly understands how to run a great business! He was responsive and informative, was able to give me a quote more quickly than any other roofer in town, had fair and easy to understand pricing, and then was able to complete all of the repair and maintenance work in less than a day. His crew are respectful and kind. They all did an excellent job both on the actual work, and with the clean up afterward. I just bought my house, and I’m already planning my next project for Al and his team to help me with. I won’t ever call another business as long as Al is around.

Al has been great to work with at my house, very experienced and knowledgeable and always puts in the extra effort to make sure things are done well. His team is also very courteous and hard-working, and I’ve always gotten a quick response when I call. The first time I called him out to replace a section of roof, he gave me a reasonable quote for the repair and also thoroughly inspected the roof and added some venting, sprayed the moss and trimmed the tree branches overhead – a pleasant surprise compared to other companies which simply looked at the section of roof in question. Most recently he did a wonderful job braving the cobwebs in my 19th century attic to install much-needed insulation, again for a very reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend!

Everyone I worked with was courteous and informative and not the least bit pushy. I'd been calling around trying to get some storm damaged shingles fixed (they were really high up on my steep roof and causing a leak!) and other companies wouldn't even quote my repair because it was so small.

Al responded to my inquiry immediately, and got me a quote straight away- he definitely knew his stuff. He was then able to add me to the schedule right away, before another storm came through and made the leak worse. His crew was punctual and got the job done efficiently. Al's pricing was also both transparent and fair- no outrageous minimums like other companies were pushing on just a small repair. On top of all of that, he was friendly and pleasant to interact with, which took some of the stress out of dealing with a wintertime roof leak!

Overall I had a great experience with Al and will definitely be using and reccomending his company in the future.

Our roof was leaving after multiple days of rain. Al was the only contractor to come out the same day. He was able to identify the problem right away and patched the problem right away during a rainstorm to prevent further damage to our home. He helped us navigate the process with our insurance company. He was absolutely wonderful and would use him again in a heartbeat even thought we hope we don't need to!

Al was the true hero for us. He helped us out of a tight spot while trying to sell our house and Julio did a beautiful job fixing a leak, which Al double checked for us and then went above and beyond. We cant thank him enough!

I called four companies to come out and give me bids. One couldn't come for a week, and one was too much money and the other I canceled after meeting Al. He showed up the next morning, gave me a very fair bid and told me he and his crew could do the work 4 days later. I was very impressed with them from beginning to end, Highly recommend Al and his crew. Btw he used the same shingles as the expensive guy at almost half the cost. All roofers are not the same. Get more than one bid and make sure Al is one of them. My neighbors had him do their roof too.

I called Al's roofing and repair to get a quote on roof work to help with heat/venting. Al came by within a couple days when promised and inspected the roof. He made other recommendations to help with the venting issue. He was fast on the repair and his prices were very reasonable, saving me over $1000 with more work to be performed than other estimates. I would use him again if the opportunity presents itself.

I called Al's Roofing and repair a few years ago for a leak in my kitchen ceiling. Al found the problem and fixed it, saved me thousands of dollars because two other roof companies told me then I needed a new roof. Al told me that I had a few more years left before I'd need a new roof. I knew right then this was the company to call when it was time for a new roof. I had my new roof installed August 2021. Eric is one of the roofers and he who went above and beyond all expectations. He was so helpful. He gave me sample boards to help with the color decision and gave me suggestions about color choices that would look nice on my house. He explained the installation process and answered my questions. My roof was complete in one day. The crew put tarps over my deck, my shrubs and yard for protection. They cleaned up the debris and materials from my yard. And Eric made sure that the nails were picked up from my yard with a magnetic device. I highly recommend Al's roofing and repair!!

We bought our house in 2021 knowing we had to replace the failing roof within a year. There were a dozen other things to do with the house as soon as we moved in and getting them done had left us a bitter taste about dealing with contractors, getting ripped off, and I wasn't looking forward to the big ticket item of replacing our roof. Had a very good experience with Al and his employee. Called to schedule a time to have him come out and make repairs to our roof. He was able to come out the same day due to an already scheduled project near by. Very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He did the work I wanted done and then some. He spotted additional lose shingles and fixed them, replaced a pipe collar, and nailed down loose trim around the chimney stack -- all of this and he stuck to his original quoted price.

I've dealt with two other roofing repair companies and had a poor experience so dealing with Al was like night and day. I will definitely call Al again if I need repairs and I am considering him for a full tear off and replacement (which I will review if I decide to go with him).
