Poor communication.
We built a new house and this is the metal roof company our builder uses. After our house was complete, we contacted him, Brian, to get some additional snow guards added and made an appointment for him to come out on a Saturday. He no showed, no called and didn't return any of my phone calls or texts.
I had to have our builder contact him to get him to respond. He did come out and did the work. Them did a good job but would have been a better experience had the communication been better.
Central Maine Metal Roofing LLC was contacted about
installing a Standing seam metal roof on our new house
back in May 2022. They were contracted to complete the
job June2022. They completed most of the work minus one
vent Boot June2022. After the plumbing was done they
were notified about coming back to instal the Boot. August
2022. After several text messages, phone calls and lost of
time they finally came back to install the boot. mid oct.
2022. They were also notified of two water leaks in the
valleys of the metal roof. Water dripping off the roof
sheathing lading on the top plates of the wall and running
down the wall. First notified June 2023. The leak still has
not been fixed. I have sent pictures and videos, called two
different people multiple times and several messages over
the months to get this addressed. I'm usually referred to talk
to Brian. However he does not respond to messages or phone calls. Does not return calls When leaving voicemails.
The few times I've been able to speak to him, I've gotten
Excuses about water coming in the walls due to lack of
siding. The siding was completed long ago, middle of the summer 2023. Or that the water can't be coming from the roof. "It's impossible, I've never had one fail in 28 years". I've been
delaying this project for too long now. Brian had scheduled
to meet me in person at the house. He never showed and
did not respond to any messages, calls or voicemails since.
I've requested to meet to look at this several times. the few
times they sent someone out. They did not contact me.
Potentially entering my property without permission.
Now seeking other actions against the company. Jan 2024.
