Professional from the start to the finish. Chris and his crew showed up on Monday morning around 9:30 am and got right to work. They worked until about 8 PM Monday night. Tuesday - Friday, they worked from about 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM. My 4,000 sq ft home had new siding in only 5 days!
I love my home's new look. I think it now stands out, and I've already gotten compliments.

These guys did an amazing job with my home! We had 4 trees through the roof, they replaced the entire thing, did my front gutters and siding as well! Insurance only paid for a portion of the front gutters, they replaced all of them for the same price, just for esthetic reasons! Highly recommended

Central Exteriors did an amazing job on my roof replacement. Of the bids, they were in the middle in terms of price, but they have to be at the top in terms of execution. Jon did a very careful assessment and walked me through all of the details in choosing the time, the materials and the colors for my replacement roof. The teams showed up on time, worked hard and to me, almost as important, were careful about protecting my landscaping. They cleaned up extremely well and I’ve only found a few stray nails. That’s saying something given what I know others have gone through. This is the second roof in my development they’ve done and we are both very happy customers. I highly recommend this team.

Central Exteriors replaced my vinyl siding with Hardy Board siding. The sales person was personable, honest and transparent about choices we were asked to make. The installation crew were efficient and competent. They cleaned up all debris after the work was completed. We are completely satisfied.

After calling several other local roofing companies that didn't bother to return my phone call or never showed up, Central Exteriors - Asheville promptly sent someone to give me an estimate, and the work started just over a week later. My project involved both a total roof replacement and the addition of some metal fascia siding done on separate days, and the company representative kept me posted at all times, usually by email. Any questions I had I emailed in, and got an answer within an hour. People actually showed up when they were supposed to show up. A crew of 9 installed my new roof in one day, worked hard and did a good job, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. This seems to be a reputable company that knows what it's doing and takes pride in its work, unlike the people that installed my 40 year roof just 23 years ago. I suggest that a new roof will last longer and give less trouble if it's installed by an established professional roofing company like Central Exteriors - Asheville rather than someone less experienced.

Jon was very professional, keeping me posted on progress throughout the project. He gave me several options and price points to choose from that worked with my budget. The guys did a good job on the installation and worked long hours to make the project timelines, especially when weather was a factor creating some delays. Even with weather delays, they finished well before the projected timeline. Please be patient with daily cleanup of the site and once the job is completed. They will get the big items removed, but you will potentially have little bits that you may need to dispose of after the work is done. I would definitely use this group again!

I needed my roof replaced & had a total of seven companies come to home & give me quotes. Jon Harteis, the owner, came by quoted me the best price for what I wanted. Others gave me a slightly lower price but for class 2 shingles. I ended getting class 4 shingles ( which qualify for an insurance discount) for basically the same price as the lowest bid that I got. There are two parts to this story.

I am a spokesperson for an elderly couple. It was their roof being repaired. Because their command of the english language is not as good as it could be, I assisted in the coordination of the project between Jon and the elderly couple.
I had already done the research among 4 roofing companies. Jon's bid was very fair. I appreciated the time he took with me and the couple, to explain the procedure of the roof repair, and answer any questions the elderly couple, or myself, might have had. Everything went according to plan. The project began on time, and completed on time. The surrounding area of the house was left clean! The surrounding flower beds were not disturbed. The roof looks great!

The second part to this review is the "human" aspect of the project. Jon gave extra time to be sure the elderly couple understood what steps would be taken to begin and complete the project. His conduct showed patience with the couple ( as again, their understanding of english is not up to standards).

There was an unexpected delay in paying Central Exteriors, as the insurance company took their time to re-imburse the couple. Jon showed great patience and understanding.

I can tell you, any other company would not have given the attention to such a client, nor showed the compassion, that Central Exteriors and Jon showed to this client.

On my end, I ended up needing to schedule in a bit of a delay, and once I was ready to proceed, we had some minor time adjustment around the weather — and that was handled with clear and timely communications. The roof replacement was completed in a day; the gutter replacement also took a day; and Jon was out the following day to inspect the completed work. I was impressed with him throughout as a genuinely good person.
