Casey and Rob were very professional, on time and thorough. Although the chimney inspection ultimately failed, it was a great learning experience. I didn't really understand fully how a chimney worked!
Both of them answered my questions directly, and completely.
I will use them Potomac to address the issues, if the sale goes through. If not maybe on the next one! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience with everyone i interacted with at Potomac. I had tried other companies who told me it was not possible to repair my fireplace, but Potomac was willing to do the legwork to find the parts so it could be repaired at a lower cost. Jeff gave me great advice and spent lots of time with me over the phone. My technician, Rob, was super competent and chill; he made a suggestion that made the project look great! I COULD NOT be happier with their work!

This was my first experience with Potomac Services, whom I called to address an issue I had with my chimney and to clean out my dryer vent. Online booking was quick and easy. The company is responsive, courteous, and communicative, sending appointment reminders and a notification with background/reviews on the scheduled technician. The rates are also reasonable. Rob was very friendly, respectful and thorough with the chimney inspection and dryer vent cleaning. I plan to use Potomac Services for future requirements.

The technician (Rob) sent me the text message informing me of his arrival time and he arrived right on time. He was very thorough and fully explained what he was doing. He did a great job. Setting up the appointment through Potomac Chimney website was easy and they were very good keeping me informed.

So far, we’ve only had the chimney and fireplace inspection, and although I know the repairs are going to be extensive, Rob was extremely professional and explained everything he was looking for, why it mattered, and what the potential processes for addressing the issues would be in great detail. I don’t look forward to the coming estimate, but so far Rob and Potomac Services seem good to work with.

Casey of Potomac Services inspected my chimney. He was a very good representative of Potomac Services because he was friendly & very knowledgeable. Casey was very thorough and did not rush. He also provided me photos of the inside of the chimney. I came away knowing a lot more about chimneys than I knew before.

Potomac did a chimney inspection for us. Rob was extremely knowledgable, taking the time to show us what was going on with our mortar via a camera running up the interior of the chimney. He provided a reasonable estimate on the work and was respectful of our house (wearing shoe covers, bringing in covering for the carpet).

Alex arrived today to sweep our fireplace unit. Snow on roof & temp low 20s° when he arrived so skipped roof/chimney stack part.
Inside cleaned everything well & discussed a bit of follow up work needed.

Potomac Services did an excellent job, they were very friendly and professional. We were in an urgent situation with ultra cold weather and no heat, and they worked to squeeze us in and address our problem right away!

Potomac Services removed 3 chimneys from my house. One to roofline and the other two to my attic floor. They were old and not connected to anything. They did a great job. We’re professional, efficient and neat. Covered the holes in roof till my roofer can get here and capped all 3 chimneys in house. I highly recommend them!

Work was done well and efficiently. Did notice handprints on the fireplace afterwards, but easy enough to clean. I will definitely will recommend this company.
