Cedarworks did a ridge cap repair for me at a reasonable price. Everything was cleaned up nicely. I was very satisfied with their work.

I hired Cedarworks to replace a leaky roof which became apparent in mid-March. My neighbors recommended this company to me, giving Cedarworks high marks from their own experiences with trim replacement.

I was concerned about the timeframe and the ability to get this roof replaced before summer rental guests arrive at my house. I called the proprietor who returned my call within about a day. Chris Yerkes was able to get out to the house within a few days and we discussed the scope of the project while he was at the house.

This is a knowledgeable proprietor who discussed options, pros and cons, and answered all of my questions. I also had a quote from a large roofing company on the Cape that wanted to install a ridge vent on the house. As I do not have an attic nor soffit vents, Cedarwork’s proprietor explained exactly why installing a ridge vent would not only be unnecessary but also a mistake on my home.

His quote was for shingling my home and two outbuildings, his timeline was about 1 month out (3-4 months sooner than the large roofing company which would have put this into summer), and his quote, which included replacing an aged skylight, was very reasonable: less than the large company.

The crew arrived at my home and within 1.5 hours had removed the old shingles and started to install new roofing. They were neat, respectful, detailed, hard-working. Excellent and experienced. Speedy. By 4:30 they started to prepare for the end of their day. Tarps, ladders, scaffolding, nailers were put away. Roofs were cleaned, decks and yard were cleared of even the tiniest piece of debris. It took about an hour to clean the worksite, and they left for the day; returning at 7:30 the next morning, they did the same for Day 2. Day 3 included interior trim work in the new skylight. Beautiful job and phenomenally neat.

I have earned a degree in Construction Technology and am incredibly impressed with Mr. Yerkes, his crew, and the quality, efficiency, value and excellence of his company. I will hire Cedarworks again for my continued home maintenance and highly recommended them without hesitation.

This is the third project I have done with Cedarworks. Chris is great to work with and I have always been more then happy with the work. Can't recommend enough!
