If you are looking for quality roofing work performed by professionals, CedarTech should be at the top of your list. Our large beachfront home roof is over 20 years old and showing its age from innumerable coastal storms. I was worried that I needed a new roof. Instead the crew was very selective in replacing worn roofing, ensuring that every piece of the roof was in great shape. They cleaned moss and other debris from the roof. The finishing touch was treating the entire roof with a preservative solution. Roof looks fabulous. Also, my driveway and yard are immaculate - you would never know a roofing crew had been here. I call all of this 'peace of mind' as the inevitable squalls and storms start to arrive next winter.

I discovered CedarTech 13 years ago and if fortunate, probably another 20 more years of servicing my roofing needs to come. Trust worthy, dependable, and I don't have to give their work a 2nd thought. Its always done, on time, on schedule, as expected and sometimes just a little more...
After an exceptionally knowledgable presentation and proposal of all the different roofing options now available when I needed to re-roof 4 years ago, I decided to continue using cedar shakes. Three days into the project, with the old shakes removed, and about 2/3rds of the roof now covered with newly installed shakes, their supplier discovered the "wrong" cedar shakes were delivered. Austin had their crew complete remove all of the newly installed shakes and started all over again with the correct ones that I had contracted for. No ifs, buts or any request to cover the extra labor expense.
If that doesn't tell you all one needs to know about CedarTech and why I have utilized their services as long as I have, nothing will. Not the most nor least expensive. Just the best and one you won't ever lose sleep over using.

CedarTech did beautiful work restoring the cedar roof on our breezeway. I appreciated their efficiency, communication, and detailed craftsmanship. They were respectful of our landscaping. The old roof had unsightly nails protruding which CedarTech was able to eliminate on the new roof. They also did an excellent job cleaning the roofs of our home and garage. The firm is dedicated to providing the service of maintaining a functioning roof. It is only interested in the ability of the roof to perform, and the firm will only suggest services necessary to maintain that performance.

In my experience, the firm maintained the 30+ year roof they started servicing in 2015 through replacement of shakes (mine is a cedar shake roof) and annual cleanings. When the Labor Day 2020 winds damaged the remaining original shakes beyond the technical possibility of simple shake replacement, the firm assisted me in my efforts to successfully attain homeowner's insurance policy assistance to finance replacement of the entire roof. As well, the firm carefully guided me through the process of selecting the proper type of cedar shakes to use for the new roof, based upon the environmental issues unique to my surroundings.

Beside the absolute beauty demonstrated in the creation of the new roof -beauty that clearly demonstrates the integration of form and function in its design- the firm provided me verbal fortitude in supporting the critical importance that I assure ongoing respect of the new roof through the firm's emphases that use of spiked footwear (used by sundry contractors requiring access to tread upon it) be avoided to preserve its potential lifetime; something I vehemently stand by.

The professional and courteous annually roof and (new -2021; also installed by this firm-) gutter cleaning service continue to this day.

I consider myself very fortunate to have the services of this firm.

Have used Cedar Tech Roofing Inc. for repairs in the past and this time was no exception, they were on time, did a very professional job, bid was what we agreed to and clean up was also very good. They are not the cheapest, but they do what they said they would and if needed a little more than expected, like always. Great company to put your faith in.

CedarTech did a great job on our re-roof. Not only was the quote very competitive, but we had a very tight schedule to get the job done before closing. They were able to get to us quickly and the quality of their work and subsequent cleanup was outstanding.

Excellent experience starting with the quotation visit, to planning, to scheduling, through completion! Their communication was timely and correct, and their workers were top notch. CedarTech's crew did a fabulous job! They arrived promptly, and quietly, and got to work despite Portland's 100o weather that week! Initially, your property will look like a disaster, and I worried about my plants. They have a very protective system of plywood and board supports. There was MINIMAL foliage damage! Hubby was concerned about the gutter screening, and it laid back as good as new. They clean up what has come down daily (staples, screws, nails). Most important, the roof looks spectacular. We went with Malarky Vista, in Storm Grey. We would not hesitate to recommend CedarTech's crew to our family and friends!

In every single area of service, CedarTech earns five stars from my wife and me. The owner and two crew did an estimate, including inspecting our attic. The major work was to repair a valley that had a leak. We also had many individual shingles replaced around the roof and the roof and gutters cleaned. The clean up was perfect including a magnet to find any old nails on the driveway.
What's more, their estimate (which was also the final cost) was much more reasonable than another roofer's. No snow jobs. Everyone was genuine, skillful and efficient. In a word, professional. We are so pleased to have found this company and recommend them without reserve to anyone who has a problem with their roof or just needs it to be cleaned and protected!

CedarTech just finished re-roofing our decades old cedar shake roof and the difference is incredible. Our townhome has never looked better and all our neighbors have been very complimentary. In addition to the awesome renewal of our roof, working with the folks at CedarTech was also a great experience. I worked with Kevin in the early stages but once work started I worked with the project manager, Austin. Both guys were great. And the work crew, led by Jose, really worked--and I mean all day long, even one day in partial rain, and no fooling around. Mad respect to those guys. Needless to say, I'm completely happy with their work and recommend CedarTech without reservation.

Very professional, on time, priced as quoted. Kevin was clear, upfront and precise about what needed to be done. Benjamin and the crew were industrious, did a great job and left our property clean and undamaged. If I had one request I would ask that the materials be deposited on the roof in a bit gentler fashion. I will use Cedar Tech again.

Really happy with our new Cedar roof! CedarTech worked seamlessly with our renovation project timing, had terrific communication, and did an excellent job cleaning up after every day (this was especially important to us with a toddler and dog using the yard every night)! The workers on site were professional and operated in a safe manner and the supervisors came daily.

Hired Cedartech to do some repair and maintenance on a 16 yo Cedar Roof. Some split and worn out shingles and cracked pipe boots. Estimate was quick and they were able to fit us in within a few days. Wasn't a big job but dealing with Carlie and Austin was real easy. Will call them again in 2-3 years when we need to have our roof treated. Definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough about this crew. They put a beautiful, tight, square new cedar roof on my garage, and did excellent work repairing the roof on the house, instead of selling me a new one. They put up graciously with kids and dogs, cleaned up completely every night, great all around.

We recently purchased a house with a thick cedar roof with no maintenance records. We knew that cleaning and treating were required for these type of roofs and found CedarTech. They came out quickly after the call, went up to look at the roof and to get us a quote. The price seemed right and description of what it needed was thorough. It was the busy season but we got the work scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. Upon arrival the workers noticed a broken skylight, which they were able to source and repair at the same time. Overall we had a skylight replaced, the roof cleaned and treated, a dish removed and shakes replaced where needed, also they cleaned and tested the gutters. All two days before a giant rain storm! They got the job done in one day and the roof looks great. Have even received several complements from the neighbors as to the work done and the look of the roof after. Will absolutely use again.

I've used CedarTech for 2 homes with cedar shakes and I really like how their Cedar Silver product cleans and protects the roof, and it looks great. In Sept. 2016 CedarTech did a partial re-roof of my house. They used high-quality #1 cedar shakes from Canada and they did the job on time and on schedule and at the price quoted even though they had to do some extra flashing around my chimney. I was very pleased and I would highly recommend them for routine preventative treatment and for re-roofing.

We have used Cedartech a couple times before this year and where happy with the work. But this year it was not good and not getting any better . They came and did work but I was not happy. They came out and looked at the job and said it was not good. They then sent a new crew out and repaired what the first crew did and cleaned the gutters( which the first crew did not do). While doing the repairs of the first crew they found more work that needed to be done. I agreed to pay for the new work and they said they will spray what they did that day when they come back. So I paid what the wanted for the job. The contract was signed 3/31/15. It is now 12/10/15 and no one has come back to spray what they did or to do the repairs that they said needed to be done. Also I have now had to clean 3 of the gutter down pipes that where pluged with wood from the roof. And I just found another today. None of them had had leaves just wood from the roof. We will not be using Cedartech again and will be paying someone to come and clean the rest of the gutters. Not sure what changed with this company but something has and not for the better.
