Dale is amazing! Last year when my first roof contractor could not get it past through my insurance Dale stopped by and got the job done. Everyone in the crew from top to bottom was respectful, polite, cleaned up, and it was a job well done! I have referred him to my neighbors.

Shane was very easy to work with. He was always attentive and made sure all my questions were answered and extras were taken care of. He was very thorough going above and beyond. If we need more exterior work we will use again. He even offered to help where he could in getting me someone to do interior. I would recommend.

Chris is our guy! He is very responsive and easy to work with: no pressure, friendly, listened well and earnestly sought to accommodate all our needs and concerns. We had hail damage in 2024 and needed a new roof, whole house painted and gutters replaced. Each were done in a timely fashion requiring clarifying, onsite visits by Chris each time. He satisfactorily coordinated all subcontractors to meet our expectations. Because of the great work we have recommended C&D General Contractors several times and anticipate we will work with them again in the future.

My insurance adjster came out and denied my claim and stated it was storm damage. Dale insisted I contact my agent to get a different adjuster. I did and a different adjuster came out. My insurance company is paying for everything the first adjuster denied. Couldn't be happy and glad Dale insisted on a second adjuster!!!

Chris was a pleasure to work with and solved many problems in the complicated process of handling an insurance claim (i.e. Replacement Cost, Actual Cash Value, Supplemental Settlements, Recoverable Depreciation). He worked with the insurance company to ensure that all damages were covered and that our house was repaired as if nothing had happened.
His crews for roof, gutter, and siding were professional, efficient, friendly, and courteous. They always coordinated their work schedule, arrived on time, and cleaned up when they were finished (as if they were never there).
Highly recommend C&D General Contractors.

Edited: I am going to edit this review as I wrote the original review when I was really angry. I will say the quality of work that this company does is great. I really love the roof and the gutters that were recommended to me by Dale. The biggest complaint would be a lack of communication. He failed to set expectations and did not proactively communicate with us, which is what we would expect as customers. We had to contact him after several months on not hearing anything and sometimes wait 2-3 days for any response. Better communication as a business owner is a must.

Shayne was professional, honest and down to earth. I would definitely recommend using C&D to anyone and plan on doing so with my friends and family.

I worked with Shayne on an insurance claim for hail damage. My experience was extremely positive all around. He jumped up on my roof, managed all the inspection details with the insurance company, and oversaw every step until completion.

The quality of work is fantastic. We ended up replacing our roof, gutters, and garage door. It all looks amazing. We couldn't be happier!

Shayne was wonderful to work with. Though my roof had no hail damage to claim, he took the initiative to caulk a couple of my stacks that had squirrel damage. Over and above customer service!

They did a great job working with our insurance adjuster when we had hail damage. We were able to get a new roof, some siding fixed, our window screens repaired, and our deck restained. All of the repairs were done timely and above our expectations. They are professional and courteous. Shayne was great! If we ever need repairs to our home again, we will definitely be giving them a call.

It was great working with C&D General Contractors after our roof got hail damage from a summer storm last year. Although our insurance initially only covered half of the roof repair, Shayne was able to send in photos of the damage and get the full cost of the roof replacement covered along with gutters, fascia, and deck stain. Their crews were professional, polite, and worked quickly to get the job done! They were also diligent in cleaning up after themselves. I would 100% recommend them to anyone in need of exterior home repairs!

Didn't show up for scheduled time to give siding quote, had to call the next day to get them to reschedule another time for someone to come out and get me a quote, when a guy finally came out he said he could measure the house digitally and would send me a quote in a couple days, multiple weeks passed and I messaged him via the number he gave me multiple times. He ignored me and never even gave me a quote.

Shayne was an absolute pleasure to work with. He came out for a free estimate as a second opinion based on a home inspection we received. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Would highly recommend this company. The fact that they were able to take care of all of my exterior needs, and not just the roof, is amazing!!!! It’s such a head ache when trying to get all the repairs done at once. Anyways, both Chris and Dale made my experience very pleasant and EASY! You can really tell these guys care. They dealt with my insurance company for me too, which was great because I literally didn’t have to do a thing. I will continue recommending to all my friends and family. Thanks again!

Worst company every they messed up that house then tried say they didn’t it’s been almost a year and still not fixed have to hire someone else to fix what they messed up and they still want more money what a joke of a company I wouldn’t let them touch a dead dog let alone your house

It was a pleasure to work with Shayne in the somewhat taxing process of having damages fixed to your home by filing an insurance claim. He helped walk us through the process so that all of the damages were covered and the in the end our house was back in excellent condition. I would use them again!

Aaron K. was great to work with, he was available for any of our questions and made us feel comfortable with the process. He even climbed up and dealt with our insurance company claims adjustor for us. The entire project was on time and on budget. Would definitely recommend Aaron and C&D General Contractors.

They didn't fix everything they were supposed to. They ripped some siding off the house while putting on roof and gutters. The workers did not speak a word of English. Gutter were not put on correctly. I have called numerous times to the main office and to the salesman but no reply. I would not recommend this company.

C&d was great to work with all the way around! Shayne was great at dealing with the insurance adjusters and got us a whole new roof, I was really spooked about dealing with the insurance from past experiences. But Shayne took care of it all!

C&D General Contractors is an exceptional company to use for your roofing needs. The owner Mr. Dale Nelson and his crew were very professional and courteous. Their customer service was outstanding. I had a very positive experience with Mr. Nelson and Ms. Carol Ault. The work crew all together have done an excellent job replacing my roof. Also, they have done a fantastic job replacing my roof and cleaning up my property after the work was completed. This company will go above and beyond your expectations. This company really stands out above the rest. They have left me with a very positive experience. I will always continue to use this company. Just try them and you will see what I mean. Awesome job.

We had a new roof installed and our chimney tuckpoined by C&D General Contractors and will definately use them again in the future. Shayne was a pleasure to work with and kept us informed every step of the way. After the roof was installed and paid for, we noticed we had forgotten to have some downspout extensions added to better divert water directly off the roof. Shayne came over the next evening and added the downspout extensions and did not even charge us for labor. We are very happy with our beautiful new roof and C & D's customer service and good work.

Of all the contractors I've dealt with this was the most pleasant experience. Anytime I had questions my company rep got back to me immediately. All the work was scheduled and on time like they said. All of the work was done in a timely manner and very professional. I definitely would recommend this company and it was a pleasure to deal with Shane.

We needed a quick gutter repair before we closed on our home. Shane was so great to speak with and very quick to respond and keep us posted on our project. Would highly recommend using them in the future for any project.

Shayne came down for a roof inspection after a heavy rain day, found the issue and because it just needed caulking, sealed it right away at no cost.

Run away. Their work was great. Their billing system/accounting is terrible. My invoice showed I owed one thing, then they enlightened me that I owed them more with confusing verbiage that claimed that their invoice was essentially wrong and I owed more. They seem to only work off of supposed estimates. I work off of black and white invoice. They do not...period.

Shayne was so fabulous to work with! He was very responsive and quick to come by to inspect my roof after leaks from the heavy rain. I will definitely be using this company for future needs!

Very professional. Shane was great to work with. Took care of everything with my insurance company. Left the area around the house clean. Would definitely recommend for roofing, gutters, sky lights. I would use again without hesitation.

Run…..run far away. First of all, the sales representative was rather unprofessional, calling on my wife at later times of the night and just stopping by at 7pm etc…..weird??? After the job was completed, they demanded almost 8k more than the contracted price! I have an invoice for 9,644 to repair roof…..that’s all they ended up doing. I have a receipt from my insurance company paying them 9,848 after they took out my deductible and now I have a collection letter for 7,559??? This is laughable!

The company was very good with communicating who would be arriving and when. Shane arrived on time and was very thorough with his inspection of the roof leak issue. He performed the repair, went the extra mile with removing a blockage from my gutter which could have caused major water issues. He detailed the repair and confirmed a general inspection of my roof indicated it was in a good state. Should I have any future issues or need the roof inspected after bad weather, they will be the first I call for help.

It has been a joy to work with C & D so far! They have completed tuckpointing on my 1903 home's 4 chimneys and are completing other spot tuckpointing on the house now. They have been so responsive and really communicative; I am hoping to use them soon for some gutter/soffit work and indoor projects as well!
