I've been going there for years. People are nice and the selection is very good for where it is. If prices are a little high, it sure beats driving down river, gotta consider time, gas and traffic. If we don't support their business, the alternative is a longer drive for the nickle and dime things we always need in a hurry to finish the job.

Cascade Supply is an outstanding local "mercantile" hardware (and everything else store!). We stopped in today and were able to get exactly what we needed and lots of helpful information, too! Great folks, great local store. Keep up the good work!

Very helpful staff. As soon as I walk through the door they offer assistance, so finding what I need is very easy. They've also given me advice and recommendations for projects that I've done in the past. This last winter I purchased a pallet of pellets and was able to store them there and just pick up bags as I needed them. What an absolute game changer that was.

Best part of all - no need to drive into Burlington to find what you need. I save time and money by shopping here. If they don't have what I need, they'll order it!

Love this place!

I’m not sure how to put this so I’m just going to say it. There is an older woman who works at the Concrete Cascade Supply that seems to hate working there. I’ve been there 8-10 times and every single time she is beyond prickly and I leave rather angry. If it wasn’t the only place nearby, I certainly wouldn’t go there. It’s not that hard to say hello with a little smile when you work in customer service. I’m not asking for much, just to have the person on the other side of the counter not be seething with displeasure.

A wonderful little store! For being in such a rural area, they offered a great selection of a little bit of everything to fit most any budget. You'd think the prices would be outrageous given the location, but there was nothing I looked at that I found to be particularly overpriced. They have all sorts of camping gear, adorable souvenirs, kitchenware, and, of course, all your usual hardware offerings. The staff was all very helpful and nice.

We were actually helped by three different people. We would definitely recommend Cascade Supply for any of your needs while in the area. In case anyone else finds themselves in need of what we were after: they do sell coolers, and had several types to choose from!

They have everything, and I mean everything. You might not think so being a small store but it just looks small and they organize well.

This is my local hardware store. Being in a small community, the prices on certain items can be a bit high compared to bigger hardware stores downriver in Mt. Vernon & Burlington. However, the store is very convenient being just a few miles away. They not only have your standard hardware, they also carry plumbing and electrical supplies, a full selection of lumber, lawn and garden care tools, mowers, chemicals, etc. They carry kitchen items and small appliances, electric heaters, a selection of Nebo flashlights, and some general household items. And last, but certainly not least they carry the all important bird seed & suet. Someone always makes it a point to say hello when you walk in. And they provide personalized service. They'll take the time to walk through the store and help you find what you're looking for. So it's got a real nice hometown feel. And the employees are always pleasant and have a smile on their faces.
Pretty much all that's left to say is, if you live up this way, it's worth stopping in, they have two floors of hardware & stuff to explore. It's a fun store to shop for your hardware needs.

Always have what I need, and always help when I need it. And a little bit like going back in time, which I like!

It usually has what you need. If you're looking for high end styles and fixtures it's not the place, but it's worth paying a tad more to support small business and to avoid the 2hr round trip out to home Depot. Biggest down point is they're not open on Sundays. Most of us have two days a week to work on projects and they're closed on one of them.

This store tends to run a little on the expensive side, but it's the only hardware store for many miles. And it's packed with all kinds of stuff, including things you'd never have thought. Also, the staff is very helpful, and will try to help you figure out how to fix your problem.

My family always comes here for our business needs. The lawnmower my grandma got 15 years ago still runs, and the new one she got last year hasn't had any problems. The garden section is a lot of times is cheaper then prices down river- or about the same price.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
