Carson's Handyman Service

I hired Carson to repair my fence. A support beam had broken from the strong winds.
It required diving out the footings and replace the beam.
When he was done, you couldn’t tell it was replaced. The sod was put back and looked amazing.
I checked around for quotes and he beat the others a lot, well worth the decision to hire Carson

I selected Carson’s Handyman Service after reading several positive reviews but was EXTREMLY disappointed in his lack of professionalism and poor craftsmanship. I contacted him 3 weeks ago for cabinet pull installation and said we were flexible so he could fit us in when he had time. He told me it would be late afternoon the first week in August. He did not show up late afternoon, but at 7 pm, working until 10 pm. He worked very slowly and complained about being tired from a drywall job earlier that day. The tiredness affected his attention to detail, causing him to incorrectly drill through our cabinets in several areas. He apologized and tried to reason that you’d have to be looking for the holes in the cabinets to see them… which is not the case. Our cabinets are high quality and although he patched them after being asked, they will never be the same. I would not recommend Carson to anyone. Please, save yourself time and money and find someone else to do your handy-work.

Carson resized a drawer that no longer for 3 after I got a new cooktop. He was professional and courteous when he arrived to inspect the job. He completed it in a timely fashion. He is knowledgeable and enjoys his work.

I didn't personally used his service. Be he is a good friend of mine and helped him on some projects. He is reliable, a professional and stands by his work his phone rings off the hook with new projects or estimates so just leave a voicemail if he don't answer and he will call you back. And he works 7 days a week. But he is very good on what he does.

I hired Carson's Handyman to replace a window and make two small repairs that were required before the closing of the sale of my house. I would estimate this at 5 hours of work. I hired him more than one month before the closing date. The first time I met him I arrived to him painting the trim on the exterior of my house-- something I DID NOT hire him for (And I had to repaint it). He did not remember what he was supposed to do there despite there being a large crack in the window he was painting the trim on. He made the two small repairs and then never replaced the window- instead giving excuse after excuse until four days before closing, I fired him. The new handyman had the window replaced within 24 hours of my call. After I fired him, Carson re-entered my house when no one was home and without permission and "un-did" the two small repairs he had made-- he never attempted to bill me or collect payment which I would have provided for the work done. I called the police and filed a report. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Carson Dagley did an excellent job fixing on exterior light that did not work. I asked him to bring 2 lightbulbs, he brought 3. He quickly addressed and resolved the issue. I will use his services again. Rory Walsh

I needed to have safety hand rails installed in the shower as well as a new shower head that had a removeable head. I called him on Tuesday and really needed this completed by Friday. He was able to come on Wednesday and get the job done. He was very pleasant , completed the job in the time frame I had given him and cleaned up when the job was completed. I will definitely give him a call with some of my other handyman projects.

Charged me $280 to pickup and install a window air conditioner at most 3 hours wow $100 an hour then text me all day long making excuses and then post a bunch of lies. Don't use this guy he lies and charges outrageous prices and harassing me all day texting , do not hire him

I called him Tuesday afternoon and was at my house the next day and got the job done. We were very impressed with him. Knowledgable and professional.

Carson helped us with bracing our deck stairs so we could meet the conditions of a home buyers request prior to closing. The deck had an incredible long run of 15 steps and wobbled like crazy. He was the only handy man out of 5 to return my request for a quote in a timely manner. In addition he showed up on time and did a quality job. I weigh 250lbs… I jumped on those steps repeatedly and they didn’t budge!

I think he was absolutely worth the price! The stairs are sturdier than they were when they were new! In addition the factor of a quick response for a quote coupled with the speed of delivery of service can’t be beat! Definitely worth paying for speed and responsiveness as well as a solid job! I hate when other companies or services act like your job is to small for them! Carson made me feel like my concern really mattered and he got to work right away!

Highly recommend Carson if you need something fixed quick and properly!

Carson came to my home and repaired our front door frame which had rotted away due to being exposed to the elements for so many year without the protection of an outside storm door he fabricated all of the parts needed for the repair on-site as our door frame was wider than the replacement parts that are available the finishe job was done with a much better wood than the original I am very pleased with the finishe product and he is a very professional and friendly gentleman to work with he also installed a new Larson storm door when he finished the door frame thanks Carson I highly recommend his work and his company for any of your home or building repair need we will definitely be using his services again thanks carson

I used Carson’s handyman to replace two exterior doors. He was friendly and fair priced. The work was done very well and the area was cleaner after the project than before. I will be hiring him for other projects around my house.

Carson’s first work was his best. Toward the end of my time working with him, I think he became too busy for smaller jobs like I needed. And he tended to not answer my requests for services.
