Richard Stone and his crew did a good job roofing the addition to our home. This company was fair and efficient. I have no complaints but compliments for their service. If looking for a roofer, call them!!!

The customer service provided by Richard Stone made getting a new roof a pleasure. He carefully explained my options and made sure that we had a written agreement for the work. And the crew that did work was efficient, skilled, and careful about cleaning up afterwards. This company deserves 5 stars.

We had developed a small leak near a chimney in our home. I contacted Mr. Stone and he responded promptly and repaired the leak in a very timely manner before the next rain arrived. Pricing was very fair! Work was complete and we have had no further issues and have experienced rain since his repair, and noticed that the leak had been contained completely from the outside. Would recommend him and his crew without reservation!

First off, I wish to give a big Shout out and personal Thank You to Richard Stone and his Team for a job well beyond Excellent!
Back in September of last year (09/23) we were hit with one of the worst Hail Storms I have seen in Boiling Springs, SC in many, many years. Our roof was severely damaged on our home as well as our detached garage. Also we suffered damage to our gutters, and the siding of our detached garage.
After our Insurance Company came out and verified damages and authorized repairs, I contacted several Roofing Contractors. At the time I didn't know of Carolina Roofing, Siding, Gutters, and Windows, LLC. but the reviews on Google were very good.
Upon calling Richard (Stone) he answered his phone and we immediately set up a time for him to come out and give us a quote to replace our two roofs.
After we found out Richard not only does roofs but Vinyl Siding Installation/Repairs and Guttering as well, we asked if he could give us 3 separate and distinct quotes. (BTW, Richard gives "Quotes"not "Estimates" as Estimates seem to always come back and Bite You.) We agreed on a Start Date but shortly after, the weather turned cold and I told Richard I would prefer my shingles be installed when we had a warm spell so the shingles would have time to seal well. Of course, the weather didn't improve very much for a while and this, at my request, delayed the entire project. (You may have surmised by this time we had decided to replace our guttering and stop the frequent hiring of someone coming out to clean them. We also decided to do away with the every three years or so of painting everything that was not Brick and covered all wood with vinyl.)
I stayed in frequent touch with Richard and I must say of the many times I called him - and I must admit, that was frequent - he answered every time; which surprised me as I expected to go to voice mail and leave messages for him to return at his convenience. Bottom Line: I have two new quality roofs, vinyl siding repaired/replaced as appropriate, and new 6" Guttering with Stainless Steel covers/strainers. The part of the job that I had to pay not covered by insurance was very fair. I not only have a home that looks nicer than before the Storm, I feel I have gained a Friend. Richard is honest, fair in his pricing, and goes above and beyond in ensuring his customers are more than satisfied.
I can honestly and sincerely say Richard is a "Top Notch Guy"!

UNPROFESSIONAL! Never gave me a quote after I gave them all my info for a job. Owner said he would get back to me in just a couple days with a quote, and never did, even with several attempts to reach back out on my part.

Read a bunch of good reviews before reaching out to this company, and it turns out they were NOT my experience at all. I was sorely disappointed.

I called the # on the website for a quote, and it was Mr. Stone himself that answered. He was on his cell in a restaurant. At first, I was impressed that he was dedicated enough to answer on his lunch break, and didn't route the call through his office or let it go to voice-mail. I offered for him to call me back when he was done, as I felt rude not to. He called me back a few hours later, and inquired about the work I was seeking a quote for. He stated that I should email him directly with the details and he would get back to me in a couple days with a quote. I gave him a full week to get back to me, because he had mentioned that hail storms had passed through a few months ago and he was staying busy. I asked if I should use the contact portal on the website when we originally spoke on the phone and he told me no, that it went to his admin, and I should just sent it to his rstone####@------.com email as it went directly to him, and as owner he oversaw all jobs. After a week with no response I ended up using the contact portal on the website afterall, just to see if maybe he hadn't received the direct email for some reason, then his admin person could reach out to me instead. Days went by, no answer from that either. I emailed him directly again, and tried politely one last time for a response, stating that I was still hoping to hear back from him with a quote, and unfortunately if I didn't even get a simple response showing they wanted my business by the end of that week, I would have to look elsewhere.

I was extremely patient, and gave them multiple opportunities to gain my business, but they couldn't even be bothered to call me back as stated they would or email a reply.

Sadly, all those glowing reviews don't mean anything if you never even respond to a potential customer. Your loss!!!

Do yourself a favor, call someone else for your roofing needs....I did!!!

Carolina Roofing re-roofed my house and replaced some vinyl siding seven years ago after hail damage to house. I noticed a loose shingle after a wind storm recently. Richard sent a roofer to check and repair roof and refused to accept payment. He said he stood behind his work. It is refreshing to see someone today who stands behind his work.

When my roof sustained hail damage, Richard had an independent inspector look at my roof to see if he thought it would qualify for replacement. He said it would so Richard helped me submit a claim to my insurance company which they approved. He recommended a very good shingle and his installation crew did a fantastic job. When we decided that it was time for new siding and windows for our home, we knew that Richard Stone at Carolina Roofing, Siding, and Windows was our choice as soon as we first spoke with him. He helped to educate us on products and the process. He was patient with our calls and questions. After several months of thoughtful conversations and lots of planning, we decided on a Certainteed Monogram Cedarwood vinyl in Midnight Blue and Wincor windows. It has transformed our home which was built in the mid-1930s. What was a dinged up pale yellow home is now vibrant, and the white trim makes the whole home look happy. Richard has the best crew of experts working on installation. He and his team have been easy to trust, and we would recommend them to anyone who has decided that it is time to make this investment. Additionally, as an expert and long time contractor in this area, Richard has developed a network with other contractors and lined up new gutters for us as part of this process, and he made a recommendation for other work that we had done on the home and yard.

We had severe wind damage from a storm on January 2nd, and started our hunt for a roofer the next day We had called 3 other roofing companies. One wanted to over sell on different services and products, one just wanted to do enough to get by, and one never showed. From the first phone call (January 5th) all the way to the end of the job, Mr. Stone and his crew were very professional, and easy to deal with. He walked me through the insurance process, and was even her when the insurance adjuster was here. his prices would have had me hiring him even if it all came out of my pocket. They only used top quality Shingles and underlayment. Both the house and shop needed new roofing. Everything was done in a timely manner when he said it would be done. They were determined to get us under a safe roof before the rain returned. EVERYONE was nice, professional, and easy to deal with. The crew did and excellent job of clean up after the job too. We have recommended Carolina Roofing and Siding to several people so far. If you need any of their services I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Unless you have un realistic expectations, I'm sure you'll be as pleased as we are.

We enjoyed working with Richard. He's easy to contact and met with us many times to discuss installing a new roof on our home. He always went out of his way to please us. His crew did a great job on the roof and on the cleanup too - even draped tarps over the shrubs. Very pleased and would highly recommend he and his crew.

Took them two months to do the roof was suppose to so the siding and windows as well. Roof done in June waited 9 weeks for them to get back to me about the siding told me that insurance would not approve but they never submitted to the insurance. Stopped by in november and gave me a paper saying that all of the work had been completed when it had not and that he needed us to pay extra for the roof told him we need the invoice showing the extra squares to submit to insurance we are still waiting. Call and leave messages and do not return calls.
