Cody and his team were very professional, punctual and provided excellent communication. They created a beautiful, stamped concrete for my porch! Beyond our expectations! Will recommend to others and will use them again on our next project.

Never showed for their appointment time to come look at our project. Called them a couple times and left a message, did not hear back from them. Labor Day was yesterday, maybe they partied a little too hard and can’t come to work Tuesday. I’m a little disappointed because I thought I was going to end up going with them after speaking to a few other companies but maybe it was just wishful thinking.

They did not show up at our scheduled consult appointment. They said they didn't have my address, seems like an important part of making an appointment. (I have scheduled several appointments with local contractors so I didn't realize they didn't have my address). They had my email though. It took them several days to reply to email. I guess that was the first red flag.

I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. We had an idea of what we wanted and they discussed options we had not even thought about to better our vision. It all came together efficiently and so much better than we could have imagined. They also did not mind any changes/questions/concerns we had through the entire process. I would highly recommend Carolina Gold for any deck/ patio construction!

Great Contractor.

They built a deck and canopy next to our pool, and we could not be happier with how our project turned out. They were in budget when two other contractors were almost twice the price. Another contractor was around the same price, but put the start date off several months. We decided to go with Carolina Gold and Kayla worked us in the schedule within two weeks from signing the contract.

Luis and the framing crew were awesome. Those guys are hard workers and accommodated us anyway they could. Construction lasted over two weekends, and each weekend that prepared the area for use to use before they left on Friday afternoon. They did not have to do that, but they did. The crew was also employees of the company (not subs) so I felt like they were a well established company.

The final product looked exactly how we drew it up. Good quality, and well built. I would definitely go back to them for any type of home work.

Cody, and his team , built a large front porch on my house 2 years ago and it was a fantastic experience. Professional, timely and great quality. So, when it was time to build a pool cabana I called Carolina Gold. It’s is a 16x18 structure and I thought would be quite a difficult undertaking. They are wrapping up now a week ahead of schedule and on budget. Cody’s team are all professional and quality craftsmen. They are flexible and diligent in there desire to produce a quality product. Carolina Gold Construction built a side porch in my house. Kayla and Cody provide great customer service as well as a excellent work. The porch adds so much more curb appeal to our home. We enjoy our porch everyday no matter the weather. I highly recommend Carolina Gold Construction to anyone I know.

First, this was the ONLY company that I called that actually showed up after promising to come give me an estimate! And on time too! I had a 15 year old deck that was a walking hazard because of rot and needed replacing. They did a bang-up job on the new one. My wife and I couldn't be happier. I have a couple more fall projects I plan to use them on!

Our neighbor had their porch expanded and screened in with an addition of a brick fireplace. We were very impressed and asked who did the work. They told us Carolina Gold and we contacted them to ask if they could do the same for us. They came out within a few days of us contacting them. Kyle from Carolina Gold came out and we told him what we wanted in terms of the screen in porch as well as stone around our existing fire place inside as well as tile work in our half bath. He told us we would hear from them the following week but we did not. I called Kyle and then texted him to which he responded that they were waiting for a supplier to get back to them. However it has been over a month and still no project estimate. The company was initially responsive stating they were waiting for a supplier to get back to them. They even said they sent the project estimate to my email and I made sure it was correct email but alas I did not receive an email. I contacted them multiple times this week and have not heard from them. We are disappointed because we were impressed by their work and we excited to work with them.

The owner of Carolina Gold, Cody, and the job foreman, Louis, are very professional, eager to get the job done, and done right. They built a beautiful deck for us. Some of the support beam wrap material needed to be replaced due to manufacturer defects. Cody found a better product and replaced all of the wrap. Louis even fixed a sun porch door that wasn't closing properly; it wasn't part of the project he was there for. Good company and good guys!

We are so happy with our screened in porch! We absolutely love it! We look forward to using Carolina Gold again.... they are very professional and did an outstanding job!

They just finished our patio cover complete with a ceiling fan and outlets. We are in love! They came to work daily and worked their butts off to get us the patio cover we wanted! Professional and good quality! Can’t wait to spend my evenings out there once we get some great furniture :) would recommend them 110%!!
