Buyer beware. We experienced repeated work delays with no explanation provided, unreturned phone calls, a demand letter from a subcontractor threatening to place a construction lien on the property due to Carlson's failure to pay them, etc..

UPDATE 1/24/17
Carlson Enterprises worked hard to correct the damage done by David Merchese and followed through to put our roof on. They have even been back out to our home several times to make sure all of the nails from the old roof have been picked up off the ground. I have been assured by the Director of Sales that I will have a 2 year "workmanship" warranty from Carlson and a "50-year platinum warranty [that] will come directly from Owens Corning and usually takes between 4-6 weeks to arrive."

UPDATE 1/10/17
After posting this review and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I have received a response from the Director of Sales in Jacksonville and well as the Sales Manager. They were very apologetic for how my disabled mother and I were treated. We have been given a new start date of January 16th, and were told that Carlson Enterprises "separated themselves" from David Marchese because of his [unethical] business practices. I will update this review again and add stars once the work is done and my mother and I have our warranty in hand.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been dealing with Carlson Enterprises and their representative David Marchese. At first, David was great. He was confident, said we (my disabled mother and I) were looking at a new roof in 6-8 weeks because of the hurricane (this was the 1st week of November) and assured us that if we paid our insurance deductible upfront, it would move us up the line.

We received the 1st insurance check and handed it over to David the 1st week of December. He said it was looking like 6-8 weeks from now (December) and that the time frame for starting work was January/February because of the backlog from the hurricane. He, again, assured us that the office would start the paperwork for the permits and to get back with him after the Holidays for a better time frame.

Now that the holidays are over, we reached out to David again for a time frame and the status of our roof. It took 3 calls to the local office, voicemails left on his phone and emails sent before we got a response. Now, we are being told, after paying over $7,000 between the deductible and the insurance, that we are not going to get a new roof until April or May. When questioned about his assurances, all we kept receiving in reply was it was out of his hands and he doesn't make the decisions.

I will update this if the company makes things right but right now, I cannot begin to describe how disappointed my mother and I are with this company and the representative's lack of responsibility.

Carlson enterprises did a fabulous job on our new roof. Our field rep John M. was great with explaining the whole process. Anthony L. And Amanda M. was very helpful with my questions and concerns... I would definitely recommend these guys to family, friends and neighbors!!!!
