Carlon Roofing did an amazing job on our old house. The house was built in the 1920's and some sections of the roof were layers on top of layers back to the original cedar shakes. Tommy and his crew did a great job dealing with the multiple layers of shingles to be removed and preparing for the new shingles to go on. The attention to the details was great including installing the trim molding to look like original. Well done.

They might do fine work. However, I was rescheduled for later in the day after my initial phone call. I adjusted and had waited for 3.5 hours after the earliest time they said they might be there and had to leave to transport my kids from school. Of course, the guy calls back and says he will be there in ten minutes. I said I can be there in twenty and explained how long I had waited. The gentleman said he was too busy and needed to reschedule. I’m sorry my business wasn’t worth an extra 10 minutes. Plenty of other companies to call.

Our house was recently hit by the tornado's. Everything was a mess and Carlon Roofing could not have been easier and more supportive to work with. Our Project Manager, Tommy Nuckles, was with us every step of the way. The project was on time, on budget and we love the finished project.

Very pleased with Carlon Roofing in all regards. Over the past decade, I've hired them for 5 separate roofing projects and in each instance the quality and responsiveness have been exceptional. For the most recent work (June 2024), project manager Tommy Nuckles was outstanding with communication, advice, and patience with questions. He even coordinated directly with chimney stone contractor so that roofers and stone workers could collaborate their timing and plans.

Carlin just finished the repair of our roof and gutters that was damaged in a recent storm. Tommy Nuckles was our agent and he did an outstanding job as our contact. Carlon replaced my roof in 2018. They fought for me when the insurance company didn’t want to cover the hail damage. Recently in 2024 I had a leak pop up. They promptly came and found a nail popper and fixed it. Tommy Nuckles is the one who helped me and I was very relieved to say the least. Highly recommend this company.

I had a great experience with Carlon Roofing. My roof received wind damage on a slope over a year ago, and Rich Lasky worked with me for over a year through all my issues with the insurance company. Through Rich's knowledge of Kentucky Law, we ended up getting the insurance company to cover a full roof replacement. Once the claim was approved, Carlon got us on the schedule very quickly, and the project manager, Tommy Nuckles, had his team work around the clock to get the roof replacement completed in just 2 days. They did a great job cleaning up after the job, and we are very satisfied with the new roof. Couldn't be happier!

Carlon roofing has done 3 complete roofs for us and have repaired one other. They are now working on our roof in Prospect that got hit by the tornado that went through Hunting Creek. I have personally and professionally worked with numerous roofing companies and Carlon always comes out on top. Every single time. Price, workmanship, promptness. They were out to tarp our roof right after the storm. Any time I have had an issue, they are on the site fixing it. I can't recommend them enough. You will definitely get sent a straight up and accurate bid and when you compare their bid to others, you'll see the difference immediately just in the pricing and warranty. They work great with my insurance companies and know their stuff. They are a local Kentucky roofing company who's not going anywhere.

I was told about this company through a friend. Who had heard great things through word of mouth. I contacted them and got a return call from Tommy Nuckles, the project manager. I do not have anything but praise about him, and the company. He helped me through every step of the process in getting a new roof put on (as it needed it desperately, having been +20 years old, and damaged by wind and hail over the years).

The roof was looked at by insurance, who stated that I did not need a complete new roof. They were only going to pay for the damaged areas. What THEY thought the areas were. It was Tommy who showed them areas that were also damaged (which was most of the roof), and that I needed a full replacement. He brought over samples to show me, a schedule of what and when it would be done. He responded to text messages and calls of questions I had, whether he was working that day or not. He fought for me, and ensured, which it was, that everything would be taken care of.

The job the gentlemen did, and how the roof looks, is great. The gentlemen also made sure that the mess was cleaned up after everything was complete.

I would recommend this company to any and all. I also know that if I have any other further questions/concerns, Tommy will be there to explain and help. I thank them for everything they did!

FYI, I called this morning for help with repair on a damaged metal roof on my garage. I was told that it would be $295.00 for someone to come out and take a look and give me a quote. Yes, $295 to shake a hand. I asked for clarification on this amount. Was told they don't give free estimates. I suggested that $60 or $90 or even $120 is a fee for a visit.

When I pointed out that the leak they were hired to repair was not repaired, the first words out of their employees mouth were: "We don't guarantee anything". He then questioned why I had not called earlier because "we have had so much rain." I stated--correctly--that I had had no measurable rain for five weeks, and that the leak reappeared with the first rain I had. He said that "I can check that in the newspaper you know." Amazingly rude and snarky.

Since they don't guarantee their work, there is NO reason to use them.

Carlon roofing was very professional and courteous. They were on time and were able to quickly figure out where my leak was coming from and fix the problem. Great customer service. I trust Carlon roofing and would use them again without hesitation.

Carlon has been the only roofer I've used for over 20 years. They have replaced my roof twice (the first one lasted 20 years) and switched out all of my gutters. Service in-between is always quick, and very reasonably priced.

I want to thank the staff and crew of Carlton Roofing for the work done on my home. I was overwhelmed with the damage done by a fallen tree. My son suggested I call Carbon for an estimate. Rich Lasky responded the next day. His level of professionalism and knowledge was immediate. Within a few days, a crew and materials arrived. Their workmanship and attention to detail was impressive. I’m delighted with the results and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Had chimney repair done less than a year ago and it started leaking again about 9 months after the repair. I called to ask if they would cover it under the warranty since it had been less than a year, was told it could not be. I asked them to give me an estimate on the new repair and was advised that the estimate was free and then i would get an invoice. Turns out, when they came yo my home, they did some work that I was not told about before hand, nor did i request or authorize. Needless to say I was shocked when I received an invoice for recommended repairs in addition to a bill for caulk that the repair person apparently used during my estimate, which again i wasn't told about beforehand. When I questioned the bill, I was told by Gary that he "didn't have time to explain it again and would take care of it." The repair guys are great, the receptionist was top notch, the management seemed to mislead me and was very rude when i questioned it. Would not use again or recommend to anyone

Professional and expert service. I can't say enough positive things about this company. They walked us through understanding the damage to our roof and explained how the insurance company adjusted our claim. Their contractors did a fantastic job and left everything spotless when they left, even combing through the grass with special magnets. I highly recommend this company.

I used Carland Roofing to install a new roof on my home. I spoke with Gary and after a little rocky start in communication. Carland exceeds our expectations with the installation, clean up and warranty of our new roof. We are extremely please with the craftsmanship and look. Great experience, the bid came in under others. They were in and out within 3 days after completing a perfect job. Additionally, there was not a nail or any debris to be found after completing the job.

No matter how big or small the roofing issue, Carlon is responsive, fair, and trustworthy. They are honest do great work! I’ve been 100% satisfied with their work.

The fellas that came out did great work, but I'm giving 1 star for horrible management.

Terrible communication regarding billing practices. The workers came out and put in 40 minutes of work and got what we needed all done. Then we received a bill for 2 hours of work. Suddenly a bill of ~169/hr (and 1 hour would have been reasonable to be charged) became a bill of over $300. My wife called to dispute the extra charges and Gary Singleton was extremely rude and dismissive. We were told _after_ the work was complete that we had to pay for the time the workers spent on the road to come to our location, and there was an unexpected "dispatcher charge" of $45. They offered what amounted to an 8% discount off of their overcharged bill as a "courtesy". But only after they threatened to put a lien on our home over a $300 bill.

My wife called me distraught after speaking with you Gary Singleton. I'm extremely disappointed in a complete lack of professionalism. I will be very active in ensuring no other person I know gets mistreated in a similar way.
