Justin is quite thorough in his inspection and in the report he provides. The pictures he includes are very specific in depicting the issue so both buyers and sellers understand what's going on. He is great to identify the items requiring further evaluation and those that are mostly cosmetic. He understands the time sensitivity of scheduling appointments and returning his report so buyers can stay in compliance with timeframes specified in their purchase contract. Bought a house and Capstone did the inspection on it. They were not able to get into the attic as they said a very small person would be the only person that could fit. Few months later i have to get into attic to try and look a cable line to see if it was damaged. I was able to move around in the attic just fine, while i was up there i noticed a huge problem. There was a furnace duct completely disconnected and I could feel all of the hot air from the furnace coming out of it. So all of these past months I have been losing heat to my attic as these guys did not catch in there inspection the furnace duct that was disconnected.

Fantastic service. They were extremely thorough and knowledgeable. After meeting with them in my new home and reading their detailed report, I feel very confident that I know everything that needs to be fixed from head to toe.

Capstone Inspection was horrible! I am absolutely furious with our inspectors. In the process of buying our house, they told us our furnace was older but looked in good condition and just needed the filter replaced. After we bought the house, we called an hvac company to come service the furnace. Within moments he could tell that the furnace was shot. He said it was terribly corroded and full of holes. Even my husband WHO IS NOT A LICENSED INSPECTOR, like capstone is supposed to be, could see all the holes.

The hvac man said that it was obvious that the furnace had not worked in some time and was from the 70s. There is absolutely nothing that can be done for it and it has to be replaced.

Either Capstone Inspection is horrendously incompetent or they are liars!!

It is getting cold outside and I have a baby. I have to now buy a new furnace. This is absolutely ridiculous and could have been resolved before we moved in if the inspector had actually done their job. I am disgusted with the "service" provided by Capstone and hope that other buyers don't have the same problems.
