We got three quotes to reside our house facia‘s gutters soffits etc. we chose Capstone. We’re very glad we did. Their work was amazing. The workers were very professional and very skilled. We love the way it turned out. I kept looking to find something to pick on them a little bit, but I could find nothing. Their work was flawless.

A few years ago we had Capstone Bros. replace our whole roof and all siding after baseball sized hail came through. The whole project went smoothly and according to our expectations. Excellent communication from our point man Vince, he was responsive and responsible. He did a great job interfacing with my insurance company as well. The work crews were professional and fast. Several months after the work was performed, we noticed a couple of siding nails that had strayed into our patio door frame during the project. Even though we didn't notice until well after the project was complete, Capstone quickly rectified the error! Great service recovery! I would definitely hire them again.

We purchased our house in December of 2022 and many repairs and upgrades were done to our home before moving in. Shingles look amazing and no debris was left over. Not a single nail or piece of trash was left behind. They are incredible when it comes to communication and very understanding. Even came over to help with door instal free of charge. Can’t say anything negative about them!

I don't write many reviews but absolutely wanted to write one for Mike Woehrle and Capstone Brothers. After engaging with multiple contractors and dealing with a challenging insurance situation with my carrier for nearly one year, I ultimately chose to work with Mike and am thrilled I did. Mike's competence, integrity, and professionalism was on display the entire time, and he was the only contractor who reached out to the manufacturer of my shingle to get their feedback on warranty and matching of products, feedback that was critical to insurance agreeing to cover my claim. In addition, I was impressive by the level of detail and thoroughness of the report he sent to insurance on the state of my roof.

Beyond that, Mike spent hours on my case and on the phone with me, all while he had family in town. His attention to detail and above and beyond support was what a Type A personality like myself needed to have confidence my project would be done and done well, including knowing he was going to be on the job site. Heck, he even helped my wife carry in some bags of groceries.

When insurance didn't cover the full cost of my claim, Mike worked with me to find a reasonable solution for all parties. When we had a minor issue during the job, Mike worked to resolve it quickly. We had a complex roofing projection with a lot of peaks and pitch, but Mike and his crew got it started early in the morning and finished and cleaned up in day with time to spare.

In summary, insurance coverage and roof replacements can be extremely frustrating and time intensive, so a contractor with experience, who's seen it all, knows what to do and will do it with integrity and professionalism is such a blessing, and Mike was that guy for my family and project. Thanks Mike and your team; we've recommended you to our neighbors already! I'll happily walk anyone who asks through my experience and give you the highest recommendation possible.

The owner of Capstone Bros., Jay, is AMAZING. This company did our roof and siding 12 years ago and I THOUGHT that I had found a problem with a roof section. Jay came out to my house the same day. He was patient, he was kind and he answered all of my questions. He explained clearly to me what I was seeing and, as it turns out, it is nothing that I need to worry about and believe me, it took a little bit for me to 'get it' - did I say patient? This company stands behind their work 200% and I would not hesitate to hire them again knowing this!

Following the recent hailstorm, we needed a contractor for roof damage. My husband and I have high quality standards so we sought out a local contractor with a good reputation. Capstone came highly recommended by a neighbor. We made the right choice. Mike was wonderful to work with. He was prompt and extremely responsive along every step of the process. He met with the insurance adjuster making sure all of the damage was noted. His roofing crew did a great job and the roof was replaced in one day. Capstone Bros replaced my roof and sidings due to storm damages in the Summer of 2017. Dylan was my main contact manager in the field. All works were done better than expected, a true walk-the-talk company and no hidden fees. Their patience is highly recognized! I was away from home during the repair and Dylan played a great supervisor role out here in the field.

During the summer of 2017 I had Capstone Bros. Contracting replace the roof, siding, fascia, soffit, and gutters on my house. I worked with Aaron who was the project manager from the beginning to the end of the project. The project scope was agreed upon and the entire job was done by subcontractors and Capstone personnel with no hidden fees or extra charges. The outer appearance of our house now looks better than when it was brand new. I wouldn't have anyone else work on our house other than these guys, total pros. They aren't run of the mill contractors, they are house artists.

I have worked with Capstone Bros on three projects now. Each time my expectations have been exceeded. The latest project included new siding, and windows. Aaron is great to work with and his knowledge and suggestions really helped make the project a total success.

Tip of the hat to Mike, Jake and Vince for the professionalism & quality of work performed on our townhome (one of 10 units completed) this past July. The efficiency and dedication of the crew was quite evident as well - working long days, including weekends in sweltering heat and humidity. They are amazing hard workers come in at 6am and don't leave until the sun comes down. They will stay and make sure everything is the way it was. They made sure or satellite tv was working before they left !!!

I experienced roof damage in May 2016. I called Capstone and Aaron Nelson came out and gave me his assessment, which was straight forward and easy to understand. He was there when the insurance company arrived with their own inspector (he came an hour early to make sure they wouldn't try to do it before he was there), worked with them to explain what he was seeing, and later called me to tell me that I was going to get a new roof. We had several meetings to discuss the various options I had and scheduled a date. When that date came, he had a team of six roofers and everything was finished in less than a day. He took pictures (I had a piece of rotting decking that he warned me was a possibility but wouldn't know until the shingles came off) and gave me updates throughout. There was no mess at the end and my neighbors commented how quiet the roofers were and how nice the end product was. Overall the difference I noticed with Aaron was the communication. Having a major project like that done can be very stressful and he made it as easy as possible. At every stage in the project I understood what was going on and what to expect, and he followed up on everything he said - from quotes to timing to materials, etc. I will definitely use Capstone again for future projects.

We used Capstone Brothers for our roof last year. That project went so well, they were our first call when it came time to complete additional projects this year.

We had them paint the entire house, install seemless gutters with leaf protection, and replace our outdated countertops with granite.

Every aspect of this experience was flawless. From bidding, to scheduling, to completion. We could not be happier.

We had old, rotted siding that needed to be replaced on one side of our house. Aaron came out, looked it over with me, took some measurements, and told me what he'd like to do to remedy the situation and gave a rough, ballpark estimate on the cost. He said he'd get back to me in a couple days after he priced it all out with materials and labor.

Just like he said he would, he got back to me in a couple days. He came back to the house with an itemized quote with different options that we'd discussed and didn't push for an answer that day as he understood we wanted to discuss our options. My wife and I weighed our options and found Capstone to be the best and most straightforward quote.

The project went smoothly and the end product looks great. It looks exactly as he said it would.

During the teardown they found that behind the siding there were rotten studs... a lot of them. Aaron had said this was a possibility but wouldn't know until the siding came off. With that, there was a bit more of a labor cost. He took lots of pictures so we could see what they were dealing with. We appreciated how upfront he was with the possibility of the added cost rather than bringing it up once the original sding was down.

What I found to be another differentiator between him and contractors I've worked with in the past is that he spoke to my wife the same way he spoke to me. No overly simplified language with a misogynistic bent. No "I'll just talk to your husband about it." I found it to be extremely refreshing in this industry.

We just had our storm-damaged roof replaced by Capstone Bros. Mike Woehrle from Capstone helped us a lot in the entire process. We are very impressed by his attitude and professionalism. Before meeting Mike, we got the estimate from the insurance company that only part of the roof could be repaired and we gave up negotiating with the insurance company. Mike let us know all the options available to us and gave us several suggestions. Then he worked with our insurance company and in the end he helped us to get more repairs approved. He explained everything in details and kept us updated from beginning to end. Without Mike and his team, we could not get our project finished to our complete satisfaction. I had my roof replaced 8 years ago by Capstone Brother Contracting because of hail damage and they did a great job. If I did not have one of their representatives up on the roof with my insurance adjuster I believe my adjuster would not have given me a whole roof. Capstone representative was very knowledgeable and pointed out things my insurance adjuster was missing. Recently a storm took off the top of a tree next to my house and skipped all the branches across my beautiful roof. I did not hesitate to call Capstone Brother Contracting again to have them there when my insurance adjuster was assessing the damage. Got a whole roof again and we picked out a different shingle as the ones we originally had were discontinued by the manufacture. Wow! The new shingle is very neat! Capstone Brothers Contracting crew did an excellent job of installing this unique shingle we picked out and completed the job start to finish in less than three days and I have a very large roof. I would definitely recommend this company.

My husband and I worked with Aaron Nelson at Capstone to get our new roof and were very happy with the whole process. He helped us inspect the roof and found hail damage, he worked with our insurance company to get them to cover the repairs, and finished the new roof install in a timely manner. He was very good at explaining the whole process and making sure we understood everything that was being done and was patient answering all our questions. Mike and his team recently finished siding, brick and replacement windows at our home. Everything came together beautifully! I am a general contractor and have used Capstone for the last 12 plus years on some of my jobs. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are a family owned company. I am also a customer. They did my roof as part of an insurance wind damage claim in the fall of 2014 and did my in-laws roof in the summer of 2013. There is always a representative of their company on site or a phone call away to answer any questions. Capstone just finished a roofing and skylight installation project on our townhouse complex. The roofing looks great, the construction disruption was reasonable, and the cleanup was excellent.

After skylight installation, I had a concern about the waterproofing around the skylight. Capstone sent a team over to inspect my skylight (seal looked good), and Kurt, the owner, sat down with me and spent 45 minutes explaining how it was waterproofed. Very impressive.

I'm not easy to please and I am extremely happy with the new roof and siding Capstone Bros. put on my home. The quality of the work is excellent! Better than the original.

I had hail damage to my home and the insurance company was reluctant to pay to repair the damage to the standards I felt it should be. They wanted to pay just enough to make it just "good enough" by only replacing part of the siding materials which would have left me with mismatched siding materials. My philosophy is if you are going to take the time to to something it should be done right.

Mike from Capstone went above and beyond negotiating with the insurance company trying to get the repairs approved so they would be done the right way.

Mike was very up-front about everything and said that he may not be successful getting the insurance company to approve what we both felt was necessary to properly repair my home.

In the end he was mostly successful and I am satisfied with the negotiated settlement.

When it came time to pick materials for new siding Mike had some good recommendations and am I glad I listened to them. The house looks fantastic! It has never looked this good since it was built.

I wanted a few things done very specifically and Mike and his crew came through for me.

I also had a deadline being imposed upon me by the insurance company to complete the repairs and Mike was able to juggle the schedule of an incredibly busy season to fit me in and get the job done in about half the time they originally estimated it would take. Good weather also helped.

His crews worked some very long days to get my project finished but they did not rush the job. They took the time needed to do the job right. Mike was on-site several times each day making sure I was happy with what was happening and keeping me updated on the overall progress and what would happen next.

The crew foreman, Thomas, is a wizard of metal and was doing things I did not know was possible. The crews were professional, respectful, and skilled.

In the end my house is stronger and better protected than it ever has been.

I would recommend Capstone to others and, in fact, I have.

Working with Capstone Brothers was an excellent experience. Throughout all aspects of the job, Aaron Nelson and the rest of the staff at Capstone were thoroughly professional and always attentive to our needs.

We were always kept updated on the status of our project - from how long it would take to order the materials to when workers would be arriving at our home. Their attention to detail ensured that all repairs were done correctly, and any small imperfections were corrected even if they were easily disguised or overlooked.

During the entire process, we were made aware of all options available to us. We especially appreciated the suggestions of simple changes to the design of our windows that added a lot of value to us at no extra cost in materials.

Aaron from Capstone was a total pro from beginning to end of project. Project was completed ahead of schedule and looks great. I would highly recommend Capstone - they do a great job on the task, and cleanup the property so well you would never even know they had been there to replace the roof!

Capstone was fantastic to work with. I initially started the roofing project by collecting 10+ bids. I eventually narrowed those bids down to 3. From this point it really came down to attitude and it wasn't even a fair fight. Dave Mack had an amazing attitude and personality to boot. He was attentive to the details and went over everything with me multiple times, to make sure I was comfortable. Dave was also present on the job site to work with me through all of my questions - I'd like to think I'm pretty hands-on.

For my house, we went with the architectural shingles with the weathered wood coloring. We replaced my roof caps with a crisp bronze color that makes everything pop. We replaced all of the metal pieces with the same bronze color, spray painted the old cast iron pipes and even gave my furnace exhaust a new top. There were only 3 vents that stayed black. This was by choice, as a few years of the weather elements would have left these chipping and would require more maintenance. Dave went over all of these design choices with me to formulate the best possible solution for my house - one that we would mutually agree upon. It's worth noting that the entire job took roughly 4-5 hours to complete.

Regarding pricing, Capstone was not the cheapest, nor were they remotely close to the most expensive. You get what you pay for and in the end, I received excellent service, an efficient job and a beautiful looking roof/house. I believe I was given a fair price, great service and high quality workmanship to boot.

In closing, I'm writing this review, not to simply recommend that you use Capstone, but that you give them a chance. If your bidding experience goes anything close to how mine went, I'm confident you'll pick Capstone. Not only that, but once the job is complete, you'll be proud of the work done.

We were first introduced to Capstone Brothers contracting when they installed Hardy board siding on our townhome. In addition to the siding we had Capstone replace several windows and two sliding glass doors. The Contractors were present each day to oversee the project.

In 2010 we contacted Capstone Brothers for the purpose of receiving a bid for the remodeling of four bathrooms in our townhome. Capstone provided a bid which was very competitive. Pursuant to accepting the bid and signing the contract the Capstone crew completed the tear out and remodel of our four bathrooms. Capstone completed the project in a timely manner and stayed within the budget we set forth. The end result was exactly what we envisioned.

In 2013 we contacted Capstone for the purpose of receiving a bid for carpet, tile and wood floor installation. In addition we requested a bid for a custom built oak wet bar to be built into the lower level of our townhome. Mike and Kurt helped design the bar area and provided a very competitive bid for the project. Knowing the integrity and work ethic of Capstone Brothers contracting we accepted the bid and signed the work contract. The project was completed in a timely manner and within the budget we set. Mike and Kurt were at our townhome daily overseeing the work and addressing any concerns we may have. The project, which included painting, plumbing, electrical, mill work, carpet , tile and wood floor installation, turned out better then we could have ever imagine. Capstone also provided additional repairs at no cost.

We would recommend Capstone Brothers contracting to our family and friends.

Capstone Brothers replaced our shake roof in April 2013 after hail damage in 2012. Aaron Nelson, Capstone's representative, was professional and thorough from start to finish. He helped us to work with our insurance company during the fall to process our claim, walked us through our options for replacing the roof, and then did a fine job of overseeing the job when we got our first break in the Minnesota weather. The crew arrived at 7 am on Thursday, the first nice day of the spring, and were finishing up the roof at 3 pm on Friday just as new snow started to fall. Capstone's crew was well trained, put safety first, and did a great job of cleaning up. Aaron pointed out minor damage to some outdoor lights at the end of the job and told us he would take care of replacing them. While you should always do your own due diligence and seek alternate bids, we highly recommend Capstone as a roofing contractor.
