I cannot say enough great things about Capital Construction!
A huge tree hit my house, knocking out the roof, some rafters, my walk in closet, and, because it was raining heavily, lots of water damage below. It was a mess!
The evening it happened, Andrew from Capital Construction and Nick from Capital Fire and Water came over and took care of things. They were kind and compassionate, two things which made a huge difference at that moment. They understood I was in shock.

They were also incredibly knowledgeable and competent and efficient. They knew what had to be done.

The house was dried out for days; the tree was removed.

They came up with a plan for repairing the damage once the damaging forces were stopped.

Andrew is incredibly organized and managed the project from start to finish. I always felt like he knew what was going on. He clearly communicated well with his workers. He also had a good sense of the time frame though he wouldn’t give me dates unless he was sure - great so I wouldn’t build up my expectations. It took about six months to finish the repairs which were quite extensive.

His workers were unfailingly friendly and kind and thoughtful as well as excellent craftsmen. The work was done to an exacting standard. I can find no fault with any of it.

Overall I simply could not be more satisfied. Every person there was someone I would be honored to call a friend. I recommend them 100%.

I had a great experience with the team at Capital Construction. They helped me with two back-to-back water damage claims at my home. Andrew H was my estimator, and was a very professional guide through the process. Project manager John kept things on track, even starting work on the first claim a week early. The painters and carpenters were on time and did good work, and were especially good problem-solvers on the fly. Overall, I would highly recommend Capital to anyone needing help after a water or fire event at their home.

Capital was sent out by my insurance company to repair a water leak. It took two weeks for them to get a quote approved. After reviewing the quote I realized the tile reports they used for the quote were incorrect. I alerted Capital that the tile reports were incorrect and provided proof but instead of assisting with mistake they told me they wouldn’t be able to do my job.

I called for an appraisal after water damage. They said they’d get back to me the same day, it took 4. Then it was another week to get someone out. Then they couldn’t read my appraisal. Then they just lost an email with a second copy of an appraisal.

Finally, 2 1/2 weeks after the first call, I reach out again. Not only do they seem to have had no intention of contacting me, but they also say they can’t do 1/2 of the work that they’d initially said they could, and tell me to come back after I’ve found another company to do that part of the job.

Had the greatest experience with Capital Construction after a set of trees came through the back of our house. We couldn’t have experienced such a professional job or staff. We use them anytime. Thank you Capital.

Had a leak in upstairs bathroom that ruined the downstairs kitchen. Capital Construction did the demo for both areas and the restoration. My experience was amazing. They did what the said they were going to do (with exact timetable) showed up on schedule, finished the job when they said they would and everything is back to normal. Very few companies do such a thorough and professional job. Oh yeah, and they left my house cleaner than it was before! I was never inconvenienced by their workers or gave me cause to worry. I can't use any other word for my experience with Capital Construction other than PERFECT.

What became almost a total loss of my home in minutes, Capital Construction was able to help me through the process and rebuild the home with quality, care, and professionalism. All the staff is very supportive and professional. The workmanship of the construction is excellent. Capital does it right, and I can’t report enough good things about them.

In May, I had a large Oak tree fall which took out my carport and truck. Capital was there before the tree was even removed and ready to get to work. I was under contract and work was started before my truck was even declared totaled. They did great work and kept in contact the entire rebuild and completed everything in record time. I would highly recommend Capital and Andrew for any work you may need.

I have only wonderful things to say about Capital Construction and all their employees. They were so much help to me with everything and the quality of their work and products is the best! I can not say enough good things about this company. Andrew, Nick, Chris and the unsung hero of the office Melissa! Every step of the way I was met with professionalism and humor! The old piping sprung a major leak and my entire downstairs had to be renovated! Every employee that came out did an exceptional job, I love my new floors, new paint, new vanity, its like a brand new home! They worked with my insurance company making this brand new process for me go smoothly and without confusion.

I had to be out of the house for 3 weeks while the work was being done, they adhered to the schedule that was proposed and even completed a little early allowing me to add on a few things that I wanted to improve, like installation of a ceiling fan and additional painting! IF YOU EVER NEED A CONTRACTOR CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION IS YOUR GO TO!!! My townhome was destroyed due to my water heater bursting and had to be gutted pretty much entirely down to the studs. The ENTIRE team at Capital Construction was AMAZING!!! It started with the first phone call from David, when he said, "Don't worry, we're going to take good care of you" and it wasn't just words...it was the truth! Even though the damage was so extensive, my home was uninhabitable, once Capital got in they work diligently and professionally pretty much everyday. My neighbors would even keep me posted about how diligently everyone worked. And the results are beautiful! I really want to name names to let you all know how much I appreciate all that you have done, but I know I'll miss somebody.

Capital Construction provided total restoration of my home after a pipe burst causing significant damage. From the first day the crew was there providing professional, high quality renovations. The project managers provided almost daily updates which helped me cope with the devastating experience of the flooding that had damaged my home. Their guidance assisted me in making important and sometimes complex decisions. Every worker, and there were many, acted in a professional, polite, and considerate manner. Everyone associated with Capital Construction are highly skilled and extremely competent. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Capital Construction for any household repair or remodel.

Andrew and his team were fantastic. We had a burst pipe that caused a decent amount of additional damage. Not only did they do a fantastic job fixing those items but also were able to help me check off a few additional projects around the house. Wayne, Jonathan, Jacob, Noel, Jacob S, and Shane were professional, timely, and friendly. Sam S, was able to find s match for our ceiling after going to 7 different suppliers... Grateful! I would highly recommend them!

This review is a long time coming to CCS.
So after almost 1 year to the day where we had to move out of our house due to a kitchen water leak & damage, I wanted to take time out to give this organization a shout out.

Having water damage to the biggest investment of our lives is traumatizing & is not a "routine"; on top of this dealing with our insurance & being in the middle of pandemic supply chain limitations quadrupled the anxiety index we initially had.

From Initial contact in early September to beginning of reconstruction the week before Christmas, the following folks made out experience worry free - if you can believe that!

Water damage containment & remediation - Mike M's team was in & out with drying our damaged areas, removing & discarding the damaged materials & packing our entire first floor of the house into storage for the renovations, cleaning up post construction & moving us back in!

Project Management - Andrew H coordinated all logistical tasks (ie payments, design, scheduling) with the insurance company & guided us in making the various design & construction choices that inevitably crop up during a reno. He provided the white glove concierge single point of contact for us throughout the project.

Construction Management - Sam S - oversaw a water tight but efficient schedule with various tradesmen that put a premium on getting us back in the house quickly without compromising quality craftsmanship.

The people that worked on this project all showed up on time every time. Capital even had some room in the schedule to add a couple new features for us to the house. Everything was done in < 20 days.

So after our reconstruction was completed & we have been living in it for 10 months, came here to say it is still rock solid & is better than new.

Our an entire first floor was put back together & no one will ever know that it was damaged to begin with; all because the team @ Capital Construction were professional, punctual, efficient & tactical. It wasn't their first rodeo but we still felt like we were their main priority throughout this process.

We highly recommend working with Capital Construction on your water/fire damage & construction needs - just because the people there are what will make your project all you envision it to be.

Thank goodness for repairs to leaky pipes! What started with a leaky pipe in a bathroom turned into a complete gut/remodel of our very dated 1950's kitchen.

Prior to the leaky pipe project, we were in the midst of securing quotes on a complete remodel of our kitchen along with a portion of our dining room - new windows, new doors, new flooring, countertops, cabinets, the whole shebang. Quotes varied in terms and prices, but none were satisfactory. So, we invited Capitol Construction Services, Inc. to provide a quote and the rest is history.

Our remodel started with Capitol's lead designer. A solid pro both at perfecting designs and managing client relations. Honestly, she worried more about all of the measurements, cabinets, costs and so much more than I did, and I'm the homeowner. Her keen eye for design and breadth of knowledge of available products allowed for all of the modifications we were seeking while remaining within budget. Looking back, one quickly realizes why so much thought and time is needed to build out a solid design - it provides for peace of mind when the craftsmen come into your home and rip apart your rooms. What a sight! Knowing the project was in very capable hands meant the world to us.

And speaking of Capitol's team of craftsmen, all we can say is Thank You! From the Project Manager to the carpenters, the plumbers, the tile guys, the floor guys, the painters, the brick layers to the fellow who delivers needed materials for the job ALL were professional, excellent at their skill, expedient, respectful and very courteous.

I have used Capital Construction Services, Inc twice and would not use any other company. Their goal from the very start is to get your house back to its original form.They go above and beyond to make things
right. Customer satisfaction is a big deal with them. Everyone from Capital Construction is polite and professional and Sam Sleem is the guy to call with questions or scheduling. He promptly responds and works with you and your schedule.

We had a sewage backup in our downstairs bathroom and within a day of creating an insurance claim, Capital had contacted us and arrived to start the drying and remediation process. Within two weeks we had Andrew and Sam in constant contact with us, helping us figure out what the next steps were, picking out materials and colors and making sure we were informed of the timeline for the repairs and checking in constantly to make sure we were satisfied! All of the contractors were amazing, professional, efficient and very knowledgeable! We could not be happier with the services we received and the people who worked diligently to get our house into better shape than prior to the backup!

As a result of major water damage caused by a faulty dishwasher, my insurance adjuster suggested capital construction services to do the work required to correct the damage and restore the kitchen.
Every staff member arrived on time, completed their assignment expertly and left the work area spotless. The job was completed exactly within the time frame promised.
I now have a beautifully restored kitchen and a very happy wife.

My home had wind damage due to a storm. I called Capital Construction Services for an estimate and was put in contact with Andrew Hicks. His customer service was outstanding. The response was very quick, even though I am sure they were busy with other homes that had damage from the same storm. He was out to inspect the damage and followed up that same day. The office manager was also very courteous and helpful. Very professional company.

We are back in our house after close to a year and wanted to really thank Capital Construction for being great and professional contractors..they really treat you like family..A special thanks to Sam and Carrie for their patience understanding while renewing my home...from door knobs to kitchen cabinets Carrie was knowledgeable and helped a whole lot in taking some of the strain off of me. Sam is an asset to Capital Construction, he is truly a gem, no project was completed without my permission first, Sam took care of all of my needs in the most professional manner, he was very kind and showed that he cared about me being satisfied. Even after the job was completed, Sam was there when ever I needed him.
