I’ve put off writing a review of Cap City Roofing despite being only passably satisfied with work that I had done (replace fascia board, install gutter) last year. The work was delayed due to not having the necessary supplies and then on the appointed the day, the workmen did not show up. Rob rescheduled them for the next day to show up between 11:00 to 12:00. When I arrived home at 4:30, the crew was taking a nap under my tree and all that had been done was the removal of the old fascia board. They had to return the next day to finish the work because they were so late getting started. They did not install the gutter guard, splattered paint on my porch, and left gaps in the fascia board. Now, only 10 months later, the fascia board is already rotting and buckling…exactly where I expressed concern about the gaps in the board and water leaking through. I write this only to caution anyone hiring this company to double- and triple-check the work they do. I was taken in by the talk of reputation and being community-minded and did not check after them. That fault lays at my feet but the low quality of the work lays at the feet of Cap City Roofing.

Todd and his crew are professional, kind and responsive to concerns. I had my roof replaced 3 years ago by CSS roofing (don’t use them if you can get them to answer the phone) and Todd repaired an area that was done incorrectly causing a leak to occur. I have confidence the job was done correctly and my home is protected once again. Thanks Todd for be available and accountable.
