Just had the gutters replaced on my home by Cantey. Erick and his associate who performed the install were fantastic! Job was initially scheduled for a prior day, and despite a scheduling hiccup involving the weather and a miscommunication, Cantey stepped up and made the entire situation right.

Our salesman Chris Bagwell worked with us to find the solution that best suited our needs and budget. He did an exceptional job explaining their offerings and the entire process. Chris’ demeanor and honesty were a large reason we chose to use Cantey.

Upon the initial installation date, the crew was unable to proceed due to the weather. Upon speaking with GM Chase, they were able to reschedule quickly for Sunday install.

Overall, the systems installed look amazing and the crew did a fantastic job.

They fixed my driveway which was a mess from the roots of large pine trees that made the driveway very unlevel and full of large cracks. Excellent experience from sales (Jason) through the crew chief Luke who did the repairs.

Read before using Cantey!!! My wife and I were selling our 1 year old new construction home in Columbia SC and the buyer wanted a foundation inspection. He chose Cantey. After Cantey visited, they quoted us 30,000$ in repairs for non-existent problems, which resulted in our buyer walking away. Instead of paying 30k we had an actual foundation specialist come out (a structural engineer) and he quickly confirmed there was NO NEED FOR ANY REPAIRS. Zero, none. These people are not foundation specialists and do not have the same knowledge as structural engineers. They diagnose and sell the solution for the “problems” they find. That should be your first red flag. Moral of the story, use an actual professional.

The guys came out and fixed the concrete around our pool. They were very professional and did a great job fixing our concrete.

Asked Cantey to provide pricing on a new crawl space cover and leveling the outside deck grill island and decking under the pergola. Estimate included full crawl space water-proofing and was VERY expensive. I did not ask for or need that. Estimator did not believe the decking under the pergola could be raised because he did not see the concrete pad under the paver stone. Told me to ask my gardener, which I did we detected the concrete pad. Hired them Cantey to level the grill island and re-check the deck leveling. The installers were fantastic (Maurice?) and we’re able to raise both the grill island and the decking under the pergola, for an upcharge of 50% from the original quote. It’s looks great so the work is good quality. The office staff is woefully poor-the crew did not show up or notify me for their first appointment and reschedule the second appointment for an earlier time on the same day without asking me if it worked. Unfortunately, even though the work they did seems good, I would not recommend because of the high cost and problems with scheduling.

Barry came for the first annual inspection for our encapsulation. His work was done in a professional, conscientious way, and he was knowledgeable about the Cantey brand.
He made a few suggestions for improvement on our foundation and explained everything fully in word and in photos. We were entirely pleased with his service.

Angel and his coworker were very professional and personable. Explanations were thorough and easily understandable. The two guys are a great asset to the Cantey Foundation family!

Wow is the one word I'm using to sum up my experience! Ian initially came to review my issues. He was extremely thorough and patiently answered all my questions. Next, was Israel's team that did the jacks and crawl space encapsulation. What a job that was!! They worked until pretty late to get done. The finished product is like having a living space in the crawl space!! Lastly, was Caleb's team that installed the piers. They were literally "orange" when they finished after working in all of that GA red clay!! And, you couldn't even tell they were here. Everyone I encountered was prepared, knowledgeable and really loved what they do. Kudos to you Cantey! You've put together fantastic teams!!

Angel was and is a top notch technician. He was an excellent listener and problem solver. He came for the annual crawl space & support beam check-up. I supervised the entire visit under the crawl space (due to previous problems with Cantey’s service). He was thorough with the maintenance and noticed a few things that I was unaware of (the dehumidifier was not leveled properly so that the condensation would drain properly) and he fixed it. He rechecked the support beam to ensure it was still supporting the beams properly. He agreed that the discharge pipe from the sump pump needed to be fixed (there was a leak at a coupler and due to the length of pipe I needed the pipe to grade down). Most importantly, he was patient, he communicated well, and was confident in his work. Although I would want him to return in a year for the service, he really needs to be promoted. He has tremendous potential and needs to be mentored for management. He needs to run the company!

They do amazing work, are extremely professional, and explain their process and product every step of the way. Highly recommend!

All work, from initial planning to final clean up, exceeded my expectation. All Cantey personnel were prompt, polite, considerate and extremely conscientious. Cantey inspected my crawlspace encapsulation on the 2nd of May 2025. The tech was Angle Maldonado, he came and inspected the space and gave me a good report. I couldn't have requested better tech, he was on time, courteous and very professional. Thank you Cantey, Angle is the best!

Cody Grantham was very professional, called to introduce himself, to let me know he was on the way, and then texted as he pulled in the driveway. Spent time explaining everything and was very thorough. He also understood our budget and didn’t try to make extra money off of us. Highly recommend.

Service tech Donny came out today to inspect the work. Donny was very nice, thorough, and professional. The mold problem in our basement is gone and we are very happy with Canty’s work. One of the things I like best about this company is that they are not pushy. They explained our options and then let us choose what we wanted. They were very easy to reach and very responsive to our questions. Also very nice that they come out a few months later to make sure the system is working properly.

Angel Maldonado did a great inspection which included photos and videos. He identified several areas of concern and developed a comprehensive plan to address them. The installation team, led by Zach, was courteous and professional. They kept us informed of the work progress each day. They provided photos of their work as they proceeded. I scheduled an appointment to see if I had any issues with my foundation. On the day of the appointment Mike texted me to confirm. He kept texting trying to find a reason not to come out and do the inspection. he wanted to cancel my appointment because i could not take a phone call to answer questions. I told him to text them and I wasn't rescheduling an appointment I scheduled 2 weeks ago. After this he said he wanted to come earlier than scheduled although I already told him I was at work. I told him the inspection could be done earlier but I would not be able to make it earlier. He told me I had to meet with him in order to get the findings because a phone call and a detailed quote is not a standard practice for this company. It's 2025, nothing I mentioned requires me to be present. I canceled my appointment because he is difficult. This should be a smooth process. If they do this just getting the estimate imagine when you schedule work with them.

We bought a house that, unbeknownst to us, had a leaking basement. The prior owner failed to disclose this and cleaned it up wonderfully so the inspector didn't see it. We asked Cantey to come out and give us a quote on work to fix it. They offered a plan and financing. We accepted and they came to test the concrete to make sure their plan would work. Well, it would not. The basement was built differently so they came up with a second option that wasn't a guarantee but they would give it their best shot. The work was performed perfectly. Other than the sump pump, you can't even tell they were here and they put in the pump, french drains, etc. Their system works perfectly. Any water that does come through the basement seams, goes directly to the pump through their system so we have seen zero water in our basement. They came out today for an inspection (I think it's been 4-6 months) and spent 2 hours testing everything from the crawlspace to the basement to the pump. We are very happy with their service and I definitely recommend them. We have also had only pleasant interactions with their staff.

Purchased a house in 2021 and was aware of foundation issues. We hired Cantey to address the problem, and initially, they quoted us for 6 piers. However, on the day of the project, they reduced the number to 4 and moved the piers to a different spot on the house than what the original plan was from the engineer. Fast forward two years, and the issue persists.

When we contacted Cantey to fix the problem, they sent someone out and told me I needed 4 additional piers. I reminded them that I was originally quoted 6 piers, and if they had followed that plan, the issue might have been less severe. Despite this, they didn’t honor their warranty or take responsibility for their work. With limited time, I reluctantly agreed to pay for 4 extra piers, even though only 2 would have been needed if they had stuck to the original plan. There was no remorse or discount for the additional work while the severity of the problem grew.

On the day of the project, I asked for a quote for another service, and they insisted I sign the quote immediately to lock in the price. I've never encountered such a pushy sales tactic with any contractor before.

Moreover, whenever I called their office, no one answered, or I was told I’d receive a call back—something that rarely happened. For example, I called 4 days ago about the warranty I was supposed to receive two weeks after the project in the mail, but never did. I had to call multiple times before they finally sent me a digital copy of the warranty, after days of follow-ups.

I'm beyond disappointed with this company. If you're looking for an organization with poor communication and a focus on greed, Cantey is the one.

Simply, we hired and paid Cantey to fix an issue, which they did not fix and failed to stand by their warranty.

Cantey Can NOT Fix Gutters! The only reason they are getting 1 star is the office ladies were very nice, professional and understanding to the horrible service we recieved. We put a down payment on a guter system on 4/10/24 and are still trying to get it fixed correctly. It took over 13 weeks just to get them to come out to do the initial install. Phone calls, text and emails have gone unanswered. The system they installed does not work properly leaving us to have to find another contractor to fix it. When they finally came out to try, they band aided it leaving a eye sore with large splash guards because the system does not work. This was done on the front of our home too and only a matter of time before our HOA says something. Good gracious no one should have to deal with this over gutters. We are now left with a system that does not meet what we paid a lot of money for. Management has reached out to me to discuss only because I filed a BBB claim. This has been frustrating, a waste of time and money. We went with Cantey due to name repetutation and instead got a lemon of a gutter system. I am normally not one to post reviews but felt buyer beware was needed.

The results of the foundation repair were fantastic. The crew worked hard to get the job done and they left the house and yard in great shape. I am very impressed. I feel that I am leaving the next owner of this house with a very solid foundation situation.

I had a 1.50 to a 2.0 inch drop in my sidewalk due to settling after several yard floods. The process was quickly done and sealed fixing the tripping issue. No more worries.

After having numerous issues with the floors in our home, we contacted Cantey. Scheduling the inspection was easy, and Jan completed an inspection providing solutions to the problems. Brandon and the crew worked diligently in the heat and under our house. Each day the crew cleaned up and explained the progress completed. We appreciated the honesty, professionalism, and kindness of the crew. We would recommend Cantey to our family and friends!

I was given a call saying they were on their way . A great professional move to me . He arrived on time we met and he listened to my concerns and immediately
began to observe the problem. A hole was being hug by the rain water , foundation repairs were my main concerns. The young man who came out knew that my problem was being caused by my gutters being clogged by pine straw . He assessed the problem, unclothed my gutters ,wasp nest and all. He informed me on ways to get my yard ( hole ) repaired . I'd recommend this company to my "MOMMA". And nobody mess with my MOMMA , NOBODY !!

I had a great experience from beginning to end. Great customer service. They walk you through the entire process and explain everything in detail. The foundation fix is wonderful! They cleaned up beautifully and I barely noticed that they were there! I would highly recommend them for any work needed to your biggest investment!

I had to fight with Cantey to get what was promised, and I'm still running into random consequences of the work that they did.

Called them out because a part of the wall framing that my city inspector had called a sill/sole plate was rotting out and needed replacing. (If you look this up online, it's more commonly called a bottom plate, but I clearly pointed at the issue and discussed this with Cantey's rep as he documented the problem.) He found more issues in my crawl space, and so I went with a larger foundation repair: sistering a bunch of beams, new subfloor, etc. in addition to the plate work that had been discussed. Issues started from day 1 of construction:

1. I told the crew lead upon arrival that I have 3 cats so they shouldn't leave the front door propped open. I walked by maybe 20 minutes later to the door propped open by another crew member. When I corrected him and asked for the door to be kept shut when not in active use, the crew lead asked me to go easy on him because he hadn't been told about the door. Talk to your crew!!

2. The crew left dust *everywhere*. The primary dust mitigation measure was a tarp that got draped over part (not all) of the hallway, and the door to the room in construction wasn't even always closed. I was two rooms away while they were working and couldn't stop coughing until I put a face mask on. I've had other demo work done, and not had this problem before.

3. When the floor was finished, there were stretches near a doorway and near the toilet that had ~1in drops over horizontal runs of 1-2 feet. Like, y'all literally just redid *everything* below the subfloor in addition to putting the subfloor in. There is no reason for it to be that unlevel. Granted, I have other issues with my exterior sheathing, but there were also gaps along one edge of the subfloor against an exterior wall that I could see *daylight* through. No attempt to seal it to avoid pests at all.

4. They didn't even fix the bottom plate that I'd discussed with the sales rep; instead replacing the sill plate beneath all of the subfloor construction. Again, there are multiple names for the object I wanted fixed if you go googling for it, so I can understand there being some confusion...but I was pointing at and poking at the broken area while discussing it with this guy, and had him tell me via text *after I'd committed to a contract and had the construction done* that the item in question wasn't even a thing that they work on. I got sold a whole foundation repair by this guy, knowing they don't explicitly do the work I had them come out to do???

5. Here, the reason I didn't straight up give 1 star: it's annoying af, but if you fight they will come out and try to to fix their mistakes. I had a redefine and they *did* fix the floor leveling issues, the seam at the exterior wall, and my wall plate--even though it's apparently not something that they usually do. It was no extra charge, but it was also waiting a month for a crew to come out because scheduling is very backlogged. This time I got a whole different crew and the work that they did on the subfloor was actually immaculate.

6. ...But I'm still getting issues with consequences from having their initial crew come out. When they did the demo, they apparently undid all of the plumbing pipe strapping, so now I have drainline issues because my pipes are hanging unsupported. Granted they're not plumbers so this would be reasonable for them to not fix, and part of this is on me for being a novice homeowner, but--it really would have been nice if they'd explicitly told me I'd have to take care of this after the repair. They warned me explicitly about rehanging my HVAC ductwork and putting in a new register; why not warn me at the same time about my plumbing??

TL;DR--there are *some* guys here that do really good work. If you happen to catch some of those crews/sales guys on the first go around, it'll likely actually be a fantastic experience--but otherwise, expect it to be like pulling teeth to get what is promised to you, and for it to take months.

Just had gutter installation completed on our home. Josh and Nick did great work, completing in a professional and courteous manner. I definitely recommend Cantey and these two in particular. Shout out to Travis, as well, who told the Cantey story in a convincing way.

It was a smooth transaction from the first contact with the Cantey rep, Scott Taylor, to the completion of the project. everything was explained to us in detail. Every question answered. They set an expectation of excellence and that is exactly what we received. The quality of work was outstanding. At the end of the project they cleaned up my yard and every area around it. They showed up on time and completed on time.

Jan Nelson came over and did a thorough inspection and when done he showed me photos and explained the situation. He was pleasant and professional. Ivan Vallejo and his crew came over and installed 5 jacks. They were all so nice! They did a wonderful job and were very courteous. Thank you! I can’t wait to meet the gutter crew! They did what they said they were going to do and almost when they said they were going to do it. All the workers were very polite which was also refreshing for this day and age.

The biggest reason for my low review has nothing to do with their quality of work, it has to do with their ability to communicate.

First issue: Everything seemed to be going good until the day the work was to get started. With me not being in the area at the time, I got notified that the workers wouldn't start until they spoke to me. After calling the office and getting transferred to 3 people who didn't know anything then hitting voicemail, I was worried the work wouldn't get started. Did nobody have the ability to contact the people on site or were they just incompetent? Mr. Brunson was the only helpful person throughout this process.

Second issue: Given I was out of state I knew I needed to send payment either via wire or cashier's check I tried to get ahold of their finance department. After calling and leaving a voicemail I never heard back. Then after calling multiple times and always asking to be transferred I finally got ahold of the lady that said I'd have to send a cashier's check... Super inconvenient sending a large amount through the postal service.

Third issue: After the cashier's check arrived I needed an invoice, I waited a day and didn't get anything so I attempted to call the finance department. Again I was met with the same issue of having to call multiple times and not getting through. Finally got through...Oops I forgot to send the invoice.

Fourth issue: After talking with my lender company, they also had the same issues trying to get ahold of the finance department because apparently we needed a lien waiver. Something that could have easily been provided when sending the invoice. Just something else that was inconvenient and delayed me from getting my payment.

The actions taken by this company ultimately cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress.

All in all once I was actually able to get through to finance the lady was nice so I guess that's a plus. And I'd also like to reiterate how helpful Mr. Brunson was... Might have been the only competent person we worked with.

Cantey Foundation Specialists was informative and professional in helping us choose our needs. In particular, Kane answered so many questions and made it less confusing for me. They did really great work on our concrete repair from start to finish.

Justin was on time. He spent as much time as we needed discussing our questions. He’s very professional and personable. We got a printed copy of the proposed contract while he was at our home so we didn’t have to go find it in our computer with all the other emails. He made us feel comfortable with himself as well as his company.

Crew added drain pipe to crawlspace because I had standing water. 2 days later had heavy rain, but no water intrusion as would have happened before this work.

We are soo very happy with the work Cantey did on our driveway. The team of Chris and Tieg were fabulous.
Our questions were answered, watching from time to time truly amazing. The attention to detail Chris had seemed like it was his driveway he was fixing, impressive. Tieg was a constant worker who also took pride in his work.

My wife and I purchased our home in April 2022. It’s an older home, built in 1938, which has had a couple additions built on since its original construct. We noticed some structural issues, as well as standing water in the crawl space. Evan Hollis and another specialist from Cantey came out to look at our home and assess what could be done to remedy the issues. They arrived at 10:00 and were here inspecting the underneath portions, as well as outside areas of our home for 3+ hours before coming inside to give us their assessment and to explain how things could be corrected or improved. They were here a total of 6.5 hours and thoroughly explained the process. We decided to move forward and Cantey had a crew at my home within approximately two weeks. The crew of four worked diligently for four straight days, digging trench lines, installing three sump pumps, an industrial dehumidifier, floor joist bracing, five jacks, and encapsulating the entire crawl space. The work performed, communication before, during, and after, as well as the finished result was excellent, and my wife and I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and attention to detail. We both highly recommend!! A+++++++ experience!

Israel and his team did a fantastic job under our house! Due to ground water we needed a second sump pump. The team(3) worked all day and completed the job in one day. Super clean, turf replaced over pipe. We appreciate the hard work!!!

All aspects of my experience with Cantey have been excellent, including the most recent installation of gutters and downspouts. Misa performed an annual inspection of the crawlspace encapsulation and determined all was well but that further protection with a gutter system would ensure a more robust water barrier. He provided compelling images and a confident and positive plan, and we agreed with his assessment. The final product is visually pleasant, as well as sound operationally, and we could not be more pleased with the service. At one point during the installation of a downspout, one of our sprinkler lines was damaged. Misa immediately, and without prompting, offered to underwrite the repair, which Cantey did without delay. I have come to expect that sort of outstanding customer service from Cantey and would give it my highest recommendation.
