Our project supervisor was knowledgeable and able to tell us that the venting design of the garage roof would void the warrant of the roof because of it's low pitch. Bylt up did a great job, communication was excellent. When there was an issue or a slight oversight in the amount of solar shingles I was supposed to receive, they quickly resolved it. Do yourself a favor and call the Byltup team. Their team is amazing, the work is clean, and the job went together flawlessly. The material and workmanship is top shelf. They did everything needed from replacing rafted tails, fascia, plywood, added an amazing GAF roof and put in a monster GAF solar system. We went with the GAF solar shingles that lay flat on the roof. All my neighbors have been coming down to see the new tech. I wish I went solar sooner!

Very professional! We needed a lot of work done for our property and they were able to deliver. They had the resources/professionals to address any other problems expected and unexpected along the way. They have multiple fair financing options available too! This was a must for our project because this was the only way I was able to afford to get the work done. We are homeowners. Our garage/guest room is separate from the house and this Spring we discovered the roof was leaking. The roof was installed over a decade ago by another roofer. During this last storm we noticed water bubbles under the interior paint. When we inspected the attic we saw water in at least five different places throughout the attic. Some areas of the interior drywall indicated water, and at least one area in the ceiling showed mold. BYLTup came and determined that the water was coming in from the bathroom fan exhaust pipe, as well as the ridge vent. BYLTup quickly scheduled removal and replacement of a new ridge vent, as well as maintenance water sealing the bathroom exhaust pipe. We don’t expect a heavy rain until next season, but we are expecting that the roof will be water tight. We are very pleased with the service, as well as the communication from the office.

I highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to call them again if the need arises. Replacing any portion of a roof is not a cheap affair by any means, but in my experience, this company (and Trevor in particular) were very much worth it. I am very happy with the work done.

A former roofer friend inspected it and was very impressed, he told me that they had taken care of many of the smaller details that other roofers may have skipped. We had a pretty big job and could not believe how quickly Matt's team was able to get it done. Matt was there for any question or issue that we could have, but none really came up once they started the work. In the end, we got exactly what we wanted and were surprised at the speed and value we got - not much more you can ask for.

I wanted to write this review because I am very satisfied with the quality of work done by BYLTup. I was aware of the other companies out there that may offer the same warranty but lack the craftsmanship to back it up. The quality of materials only goes as far as the skills of roofers. I guess if I had gone within another company I could've saved a few hundred dollars but there's no guarantee on the quality of the workmanship.

Everything still perfect after a year. Neighbor next door requested BYLTup's phone and also had her weather worn slates replaced with identical asphalt shingles along with other remediation issues. Definitely will keep BYLTup on our speed dial.

Here’s our story:
After a disastrous attempt on our part to have a solar array installed on our home, we were left with a destroyed Spanish tile roof. The solar company requested bids for repair and filed an insurance claim on our behalf. After six bids and six different answers, I found BYLT Up. Blake came over, assessed the roof and all its issues, leaks included, and provided a timely bid. The bid was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. What it did contain was a complete scope of work with quality GAF products along with the best in industry warranty.
BYLT Up scheduled the tear off, permitting, new roof, final inspection and clean-up. The whole job was seamless and done to absolutele perfection. I have extremely high expectations and per my wife, sometimes unreachable! I certainly expect flawless craftsmanship with attention to detail. All of these expectations and experiences with BYLT Up were met and exceeded!

Our old historic home in San Pedro was a serious puzzle for any roofer. BYLTUP installed the GAF solar roof on my home. No issues are leaks during the rainy season we just had in Cali. I’ve had the solar up and running for about three months now. on the third month it zeroed out my electric bill. It still produces during the overcast days, but just not enough to zero out my electric bill. I am hoping during the spring and summer time I build up enough credits to keep my bills zeroed out during the winter time. GAF offers an awesome warranty so if it does not produce what I was quoted, I have no concerns about them honoring what they guarantee. If the roof produces what I was quoted it will pay for itself. the cost I was quoted to install a new roof by itself and Solar separately equaled the amount I paid for the solar roof. The good thing about getting the solar roof is that you can finance the cost of the roof. So instead of paying $25,000 cash for a roof by itself, I was able to finance it. If the roof produces what I was quoted, the roof totally pays for itself. I also got a 30% tax rebate so I am a happy customer. GAF gives the roof a 50 year warranty. I would recommend this roof to a family member or friend. I looked at different companies who offer solar roofs, but the cost is so expensive that the roof would not pay for itself. Anyway, good luck on your search for the perfect roof.

I received estimates from five different contractors. Their responses were not received in a timely manner and their estimates ranged from 2 to 5x BYL estimate. Bylts' estimate, job scheduling, and completion were reliable, their workers efficient and they left the job site clean.
