I contacted this company about a leak around my chimney. They said they would contact me to set something up to look at it. Instead, someone called me about a week later to tell me they were on their way out without any appointment or notice. That was not cool, but, fortunately, I was home to meet with the person.

The person showed up without a ladder that could reach my roof so they said they would contact me to reschedule. They never called. After leaving ignored messages about rescheduling (and getting in contact with a live person once who said they would get back to me to reschedule and never did), I figure they weren't going to contact me back to reschedule or let me know they don't want the job. Pretty unprofessional.

So two stars for showing up (granted they showed up without notice and without a ladder that was tall enough to inspect the job). Otherwise, their lack of professionalism in calling back to reschedule or just to tell me they don't want the job would warrant one star.
