We’ve gotten 2 vehicles from here but will probably never go back! Called to make an appt for service and was put on hold. No problem. Sounded like someone picked up 4 times then went back to hold. Final time I was hung up on. Then called back and instead of apologizing for that happening to me the person on the phone got an attitude and snapped at me. Horrible customer service. Great atmosphere from the second I walked into dealership. I like the fact it’s a small dealership. Dale was awesome. He really took his time and got me all set up with the Chevy app and showed me the great features my car has. I test drove longer than normal. I asked Dale if I could keep going. I took my wife 's 22 Equinox to Burkins for an oil change . A couple months later when I went to change the oil myself I found that these guys had over tightened the filter to the point that I almost could not get the filter off even with pliers made for taking off stuck oil filters .
I'm a tradesman , I'm strong and I have a hell of a grip . I work with a lot of engineered torque specs . My job involves a lot of torque wrenching , doing HVAC hydronics . Butterfly valves flanges manifolds circuit setters ect can be very fickle . That filter probably had 50 to 60 lb/ft on it . So I decided to email them about this rather than putting them on blast on Google reviews .
They couldn't even be bothered to answer my email . So here we are . They didn't get a basic oil change right so I won't be going back for anything ever . I suggest you find somewhere else also .
The review stays , don't bother contacting me at this point . I won't care about your canned reply either . I would rather walk somewhere else to buy a car .

This one star review is in regards to the older woman answering the phone who always gets annoyed when a call is transferred from another line such as the service department to her line. Numerous times she’s mumbled obscene remarks as she’s transferring my call. We get it, you don’t like people asking for the service department, and I don’t like being transferred to your line when calling the service department either. If you’re going to say something smart, say it loud or wait until the call is actually transferred.

Had the pleasure of meeting Justin Gray at burkins chevy today. I had saw a 2019 Dodge ram Lonestar on their website I called him made an offer after talking to his boss. They took my offer. By far, this was the best experience I have witnessed on buying a car. They listened and made it happen.

Only had my Impala worked on here twice, but these guys know their trade. They do great work in a timely manner and keep good commumication with clients before doing what needs to be done.... highly recommend if you need service work or a new car/ truck near the Macclenny area.
Edit entry..... due to having to bring my car back a 3rd time to have my AC running right, and they had my car over night while waiting on the part that they replaced but was faulty and didn't fix my radiator leak that I asked for. Had to bring my car home and order the part and fix it myself - I am deducting a star and rating them with only 4 stars. That extra attention to the customer makes all the difference......

I took my car to Walmart to get an oil change they said they couldn't do it. I came over here and they took the car right in and the price was about the same. I will always bring my car here.

It's a very nice small town place, and the staff is friendly, not just sell you a car friendly, but sincere.

I recently had my truck in the shop. I had everything on the front end replaced that the technician recommended following a one hour paid diag. I picked the truck up a couple days later and noticed immediately my alignment was off. I scheduled a new appointment to correct the alignment. After a three hour alignment appointment, I was told they could not get it right because my front end still needed a lower control arm bushing (was not recommended on my quote) Derrick and I verified it was not previously recommended for replacement.

Against my better judgement, I have also had an air bag light on since the original repairs (one repair being a steering gear box) and have now had another Chevy dealer closer to my house tell me I now need a new clock spring due to the steering wheel not being properly secured during the steering box repair at burkin.

I know it’s little but both times I’ve picked the truck up from Burkin these past weeks there has been greasy hand prints all over my paint. I was previously a tech at Gordon Chevrolet so I understand you get dirty but it is inexcusable to not wash up before climbing into a customers car.

Mistakes happen but this has seemed a little excessive and is very inconvenient.

Second vehicle i took to this dealership for recall work. First one (2014 Silverado 1500) they done a "curtesy" 100 point inspection, told me it needed a oil change and air filter. I had just changed the oil and filter 2 days prior, also they said all belts where good and ac checked fine when 4 days prior the compressor locked up and burnt the belt off, vehicle didn't even have A/C belt on it for the AC to work. Second and last vehicle I'll ever take to them they done recall work on the tailgate and dented my tailgate on the trailer hitch. I didn't see it immediately but when i called them to tell them about it and all I got was a sorry. I will NEVER go to this dealership again!!!! I don't care how far i have to drive to get them worked on.

Friendly staff and great customer service. I was able to schedule an oil change and tire rotation without any problem and the service was completed in a very timely manner.

Just bought a new 2024 Tahoe RST from Burkins, the experience was amazing! David was very knowledgeable and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond to get things done. Jack was very personable and just a cool dude! Dustin in finance was also great, and willing to go the extra mile to get us the best rate. Gm Financial which Burkins suggested would save me money . Charges interest per day and is a loan shark. In 3 weeks interest has been over 300.00 . Paying off my car. Dale Herring helped us with our car purchase. He has patience to deal with my choices . Took some time informing us on car features.
The dealership spelled my last name wrong. So I'm changing my review. The financial agent did not advise the interest rates for loan.

Had issues with TPMS sensors dealership stated they don't have a way to reprogram sensors. Had my tire mounted and drove for a couple of days with a vibration in truck and had to pay someone agian to re-balance my tire so a total cost of

Bought a used truck from this dealership, lower miles and was a pretty clean truck from what I could see and thought. Got about 40 days into ownership and my rear main seal was leaking. Ari- my salesman sent me an email at the 60 day mark asking how everything was going I responded notifying him of a few issues but anyway, it’s now been a few weeks (still within my 90 days) and he hasn’t even returned my email. I’m kind of disappointed thinking of the fact that I can’t even get a response no matter which way it goes, rather they’d be able to help or not. The stuff was respectful and treated me right but when it comes to avoiding my email about issues is where you lost me. They won’t see my return of business on my next truck purchase.
