We installed a new roof on a high end rental project. We got competitive bids and Burford made a good bid. Ray Herrington was great to work with. He and the owner/interior designer made a great recommendation on shingle colors. They offered a high end hurricane grade Corning product with a 30 year warranty. There is a five year workmanship warranty which IMO could have been longer. I have seen other vendors offer a ten year warranty, but the warranty will cover installation defects that will show up within five years. The roof looks great and the cleanup was immaculate--no shingle pieces left behind in the flower beds. Good job, Burford.

Ten days from selecting Burford as my roofing contractor until completion. What a smooth and seamless process. Kell, my local technical roofing expert, guided me through all the right questions and materials selections. Color selection to complement Chicago used bricks, wind resistant ATLAS architectural shingles that don’t streak, and all new hardware on the roof to include adding additional turbine vents to reduce energy costs.
Kell’s use of the ROOFGRAF report and the detailed proposal confirmed my confidence in Burford’s analysis and cost estimating process. To top off the detailed technical superiority of the Burford proposal, was having a carpenter capable of correcting sofit and fascia issues before installing the roofing shingles.
All materials were delivered on a Friday and the professional installation team of 7 men arrived just after sunrise on Monday. Each man had a specific task and the old shingles were removed in about an hour. As repair and installation began it was obvious that these men were professional and exhibited a team spirit making each other productive and efficient. Everyone from my technical consultant, to the business office, to the installation crew deserve at least six stars.

Ray was in contact with us and kept us informed at every step. Materials were delivered when promised. Work was started and completed as promised. Ray and his crew even assisted some elderly neighbors who didn’t know where to turn. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We worked with Ray and his installation team after hurricane Ida. Ray was amazing with getting the job set up and maintaining great communication with us throughout the process. His installation team arrived when scheduled and, kept me informed throughout the install, and did an amazing job. We couldn't be happier with the roofing and service we received.
