We had a great experience with Bumble Roofing of Richmond. The project manager, James, provided timely updates on delivery of materials, directed us where to go to select a shingle color, and gave a tentative project date, which was a challenge because of recent storms in the area. All materials arrived on the expected date, and our project date was scheduled within about a week of paying our initial deposit. The invoice review and deposit payment process was also easy. Bumble even created and sent us a personalized video estimate that walked us through the entire process!
On the project date, the crew arrived early and worked the entire day despite the heat and humidity. They took special care to lay tarps over all of our bushes and our yard to help catch debris. The crew repaired holes in our roof by installing replacement boards. Despite an impending thunderstorm in the evening, the crew diligently worked to finish the roof right before the skies opened. Even as the rain soaked them, the crew finished cleaning up all materials and tools, and they took their time to use blowers to clean up small bits of shingles from our deck and walkways. The new roof looks great and we are very happy with the result. It feels good knowing that our roof was completed with skill and care, and we can rest easy knowing that our house is protected from the elements and that Bumble backs up their work with a 50-year labor warranty.
We have a 20+ year old home with multiple roofs in our design. Not only was Bumble able to also replace the aluminum siding directly connecting the roof to the house (which other roofing companies said they could not replace), the crew finished in less time than projected (a day and a half).
