Building Energy - White River Junction, VT

Since moving to Hemlock Ridge in White River Junction in 2017, my wife and I have had several projects with Building Energy under the guidance of Brent Mellen.. The first one was in 2018 with extensive insulation under the roof and the installation of a heat pump in the main living room. Both projects have worked out very well; the interactions with Brent and the other members of the Building Energy group have been outstanding. The explanations, care and support with all the details of the process have been most helpful.
This winter of 2020/2021we decided to have another heat pump installed in the attic room to make it more usable in summer. Again, Brent has been a wonderful support to have the heat pump installed and working well.

Brent and his team performed a major weatherization project at my home in Thetford Center. I couldn't be happier with their work, their professionalism, and their thoughtful courtesy throughout the project. There was no inconvenience at all!!
I'm already seeing an incredible difference: the house has stayed surprisingly cool during the recent high temperatures. I'm looking forward to a much more comfortable and less costly winter! I highly recommend Building Energy.

I highly recommend Building Energy. As the project manager, Brent Mellen did an outstanding job evaluating my needs and implementing an energy saving project in my home in the fall of 2019. He considered as many options as possible when evaluating opportunities that would keep my home warm and reduce monthly costs. Brent proved himself to be reliable, explained/communicated well, and was very resourceful. He was on time for every scheduled meeting and was onsite to meet service providers as they began their work. He stayed personally involved in every phase of the project making sure everyone understood what was to be done. He always partnered with qualified people who provided various services and always followed up. I very much appreciated his expertise when considering not only the obvious areas for energy savings but also the small (less expensive) ways that contributed to keeping my home warm and more efficient.
