Buck builders are top notch. They replaced the roof on our porch and replaced the support posts. Everything was done in a timely manner. They were very professional and we could not have been happier with the whole process with Blaine and Ryan.

We were happy with our new roofing experience provided by Buck Builders. Mr. Buck and Ryan looked over our roof only a day after calling them. He provided the estimate that evening which was exactly what he told me earlier. It was a reasonable price. Our roof was completely installed in one day. We needed some plywood for the addition and I was prepared for that. They did a great job overall from installation to cleanup. Thanks to them, we have a nice looking roof! Buck Builders stripped and re-roofed the rear side of my garage. Extremely professional job at a fair price. The quote was clear and simple, the clean up was phenomenal, and there were no surprises at the completion of the job. I have had roofing done many times and Buck Builders is far superior to any contractor I have used. If you pick them, you will be extremely pleased with the communication and work. I was not happy with my quotes from other roofing businesses and was recommended from a friend of the family to give Blaine a call. They had work by him done and I trust their opinion because they do their research.
We set up an appointment for the estimate. I was running late by about 15 minutes from work and when I got there he had already did his walk through with his son. After talking for 5/10 minutes we quickly went inside so I could show him the attic. He noticed some stuff that the other people pointed out. Later on that evening I had an estimate and was subsequently cheaper than the competitors. As you can probably tell Blaine and his son got my business.

The work was done while I was on a road trip. He contacted me early in the process and noted that more than half of my plywood was no good and was also 3/8”. He suggested replacing it all with 1/2” and I was all for that. I wanted it done right.

I came home to a clean home around the property and a brand new roof. Had I been home I would have taken the cars out of the garage as some debris had fallen which was a quick leaf blowing solution. The vibrations of the roofers also knocked one of my pictures off the wall but looking at how I had it hung it was poorly done so no fault on their part.

Blaine, Ryan and their crew did an amazing job on my roof! I had a quote almost immediately, their communication was excellent and was able to accommodate me with my always changing work schedule. They even patched a small leak I had while waiting for the roof to be scheduled. Their price was very fair, and they have a special certification that provides a 50 year warranty on the roof!! The clean up in my yard after the fact was impeccable too! You can tell they take so much pride in their work. I have had multiple people come up to me asking about my roof because it looks so good! I would recommend this company to anyone, they were excellent!

Blaine, Ryan and crew did a great job from start to finish. I was arranging for a new roof for my mother from 2 hours away. Blaine handled everything. He was great at walking my mom through the process and extremely patient. When he learned of a price hike in materials he purchased before the hike to save us some money. Right after the roof was installed we had torrential rain and no leaks to be found. The first house I lived in as a child was built by Blaine’s father. The second house that I grew up in is the one that Blaine just roofed. That house was built by Blaine, his Dad and brothers in the late 1970s. The quality of the Buck workmanship and work ethic has not changed. You can tell that Blaine, and now his son Ryan, take pride in their work. As my Dad always said, any job worth doing, is worth doing well. Buck Builders certainly lives up to that.

Loved working with Blaine and Ryan! We had a tree fall on our garage overnight. They acted with urgency to apply a tarp to prevent further damage and connected us to a high quality and reasonably priced tree service and then met our insurance adjuster onsite to ensure all damage and needed repairs were captured properly. They were timely and attentive! Quality work! Can’t say enough about this local, family owned business! And, they have a special certification that provides a 50 year warranty on the roof!! I've completed two roofing projects with Buck Builders. They are comprehensive and detailed in their work. Their prices are moderate for quality material and expert workmanship. Costs for any additional materials required are modest as well.

This past winter, our roof developed a leak. Blaine's name was given to me by a friend, and I believe Blaine came out the same day I called to take a look. We debated how much of the roof should be replaced and I really appreciated that he just shared the facts with me and didn't push me to do more than what was necessary. Blaine has worked for the past few years replacing sections of siding on our 50 year old house. He was able to troubleshoot to identify and repair water leaks. Additionally, he welcomed requests to do other repairs including the installation of a zinc strip on the roof to repel moss and lichen. I would recommend him for his thorough, reasonably priced work.

I recently had Buck Builders reshingle the roof on my 4,000 square foot building in Ellington. I previously used Buck Builders on my house and shed and Blaine and his crew have done an exceptional job each time. They use top quality products, are excellent at communicating, and stand behind their work all at a fair price. They did a great job cleaning up the site when they were done and even wheeled a magnet around the area to pick up any stray roofing nails!

They repaired another barn for me that was re-roofed just in the last few years by a different contractor, it leaked horribly, they fixed that for me also, I couldn’t be happier with their work and their price was reasonable. I will definitely be having them back to do another barn on my property.

Very competent and skilled builder. I’ve done business with them for years; roofing, decks, doors and other home repairs. Their work was always completed timely, met or exceeded my expectations and was fairly priced. They use a local building materials supplier, so it’s easy to visit their showroom to pick out windows, doors, etc. They are excellent contractors using good materials at a fair price and good workmanship.

My wife and I had our furnace explode one night which covered the entire interior of our home with spot/oil. We hired Buck Builders after the insurance company had sent several others to attempt cleanup. They successfully removed the mess from the walls and sealed every surface with fresh paint, taking attention to each detail such as around electrical fittings and the sinks/water sources. They also took some time fixing a "lumpy" wall from the previous owners and replacing ceiling tiles in our basement, making them all match but without adding the additional expense of a full tear down.

The estimate was spot on in both time and price and they were able to both get started and finished quickly.

We were very happy with our service and will be having them back again when we decide to do some additional work down the road.

Pretty bad folks. Buck is a one-man show and he's pretty sloppy. I spent days cleaning up after BBs and even after a month, I am still finding debris around the yard. The crowning moment was when my foot found a nail(still limping after 2 weeks and a booster shot). If you want someone who is meticulous, stay far away from this guy. Oh... and I find it hilarious that he gave himself a 5 star review and tried to pretend it was Erin L. Save yourself the aggravation and look elsewhere.

These folks did a lot of varied jobs for us over many years, from roofing to remodeling to a big sunroom addition. Always did a good job, neat and professional, on budget, on time, good honest honorable people. They take pride in their work, lots of experience, quality work. Thanks guys !
