We hired Bob Lowry, BTE Construction to do work for us. He is very charming and gave us bids for several jobs. Started several and asked for money justifying needing to order more and more product. We were sucked in and gave him the money. Left us after destroying our retaining wall, front step, exposed, exterior wall, window install. Did not finish ONE job. It is horrible and costing us thousands and thousand of dollars of repairing, finishing the jobs which are still not done. We have hired an attorney and construction expert. I am happy to provide pictures of what we were left with to draw your own conclusion of the quality of the work.
Claimed to be an electrician, doesn’t have a Montana Electricians License. Always fishing for quick jobs on facebook classifieds. Now is claiming to be a full contractor. I’ve spoke to another couple who also has only horror stories about how bad he messed up their job and they still had to pay. He doesn’t show up when he says he’s going to. Might be able to get to your job quick, but that’s ineffective when you’re going to have to rehire someone to do the job right. If you hire him, be sure that you have a signed contract up front for all work to be done. The work he did was verified by an ACTUAL master electrician and was all wrong.
His website claims he is a master electrician but Department of Labor and Industry proved that to be false. He did not even know what electrical code book was used in Montana.
Not sure how he has any good reviews. He completely ruined a concrete job he was asked to do. Did not show professionalism. He doesn't complete jobs at all. Does not know what he is doing when it comes to construction what's so ever. He mentions on his Facebooks posts that he has a construction division, but is seen constantly posting on Facebook looking to hire people for jobs that are starting a week later. He does not have a solid crew that is used, he hires whoever states they can start in that time frame. Be aware before hiring him to do your work, because he will have you pay half up front and If you disagree with his work, he will not finish the work and go put a lien on your property.
