We had a complete kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room remodel with Bromwell Company. I am a very happy customer. We loved our interaction from beginning to end. Sometimes you must pay a little extra but worth every penny when the outcome is pure perfection. Our kitchen turned out better than we expected. And let’s talk about the amazing team aka the Dream Team- we worked with Kristin and Dan and hopefully everyone gets a Dream team too! All the workers (demo crew, plumber, electrician, carpenter, painters) that came to our house where nice, polite, and extremely hard working. Every night they cleaned up and left no messes. Our driveway was even swept and clear of any debris. We never saw one cigarette bud on our grass. I know this sounds petty, but details matter and this company covered all the details. Not to mention they all put up with my barky dog that let them know it was his house. By the end, my little dog was excited to see the guys to greet them!
Bromwell took care of the full project from beginning to end in the exact time they predicted. They delt with several obstacles along the way but handled it like champs. My husband and I knew that hey had everything under control. When I hear other horror stories about remodels, I am grateful we found the right company for us. Piece of mind and great outcome is well worth it! At this point Bromwell will be the only company we will consider on our next remodel :-)

We could not be happier with our home renovation and the Bromwell team. Since this was our first renovation project we were nervous about both the big and small decisions related to a major renovation including the entire downstairs level (kitchen, powder room, mudroom/laundry room. However, the Bromwell team brought our vision to life and it is perfect.

From the initial consult/estimate, Frankie made us feel confident the Bromwell team would be able to execute our project seamlessly. Designers Sam and Sydney were professional, knowledgeable and respectful of our vision throughout the entire process. They respected our wants and needs while offering much needed advice when we were overwhelmed with decisions. They somehow managed to make the process as stress free as possible despite a few challenges that can come with remodeling a 100 year home. We were so impressed by Dan, our project manager who communicated with us on a daily basis and expected top notch work from his team. If work was not completed to expectations, he was quick to evaluate and fix if needed.

We were extremely pleased with everyone who worked on our project including the carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painters. They were extremely skilled and respectful. Our neighbors even complimented how professional they were during the entire process.

We love our renovation and cannot thank Bromwell enough. The team managed to make our home beautiful and comfortable while keeping the historic charm of a city home. We are quick to recommend Bromwell to our family, friends and neighbors for any renovation as we are confident they are the best in the business. We are already planning our next project and know Bromwell will be our first call when we are ready to tackle it.

Working with the Browmwell Construction Company was a top drawer experience and we can  unequivocally recommend Frank and his team. From start to finish, there was attention to each  detail and every aspect of the project was completed to our specifications, with beautiful results. Designers Samantha and Sydney were extremely knowledgeable and professional, while being warm and relaxing to work with during what can be a challenging time in making important decisions. They made the process fun! Dan, the project manager, ensured that everything went smoothly, and answered all our questions with calmness and insight along the way. At the conclusion of each step, and at the end of the project, the house was left in immaculate condition. Tom and I are very glad that we chose Browmwell and would do so again.

Bromwell renovated our kitchen and did an excellent job. Sam their designer was a big help with picking out everything we wanted and Dan was always there to answer our questions or concerns. The best part is they finished earlier than expected! We Would highly recommend Bromwell for any house project.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. They installed French Doors in my house it was the absolute BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. Great quality work (the best) at a reasonable price and WOW you did not even know they were there is was so clean when they finished.
Do yourself a favor and hire these folks for your next house project you won' t regret it!!!!

We had Bromwell renovate our kitchen. They were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were very upfront with all costs before the project started and there were no hidden fees or up charges added on at the end. They were easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to all questions and concerns. Sam their designer was a big help with picking out everything we wanted and Frank was around a lot and easy reach with questions about the project. Best part is they finished earlier than expected! We are experienced DIYers and decided to have Bromwell tackle the kitchen in our 100 year old home. From beginning to end, Bromwell was responsive and receptive to any questions or concerns. Working with Sam on the design was a pleasure...she did whatever was needed to allay design concerns, issues. Work was completed within a week of promised date but that was due to a slight delay in cabinet delivery. Dan was a proactive project manager we could depend on. Every contractor who worked on our remodel was friendly and receptive to questions and concerns. All in all a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed with this company. Had an appointment scheduled for an estimate and the person never called or showed up. Called the office and was informed that the appointment was an hour later then I thought which maybe but I doubt it and then still no one showed or called at the scheduled time. Tried calling back but couldn't reach anyone at the office. The office finally called me back 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment to inquire about my call and said they could reach out to the staff to see where he is. Bromwell if your staff is going to be late for an appointment call the person and explain what is going on. Lack of respect for people's time.

I have been Working with Bromwell Construction over the last few years and have found them responsive, thorough, and quality driven!!!!! One of the top ten builders in the area!!!!!!

UPDATE: It’s a shame that it took a review to provoke action, but the team came back to fix a few things and they nailed it. The bathroom looks great.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: The end product looks decent but it was a long road.

Got a full roof, and they had to come back three times to fix leaks, and my smashed downspout and loose gutters are somehow my fault. Got a foyer and powder room remodel, and the punch list kept growing - bc every time someone came to fix stuff, they messed up other things. There’s gaps in the trim, the toilet wobbles, and part of the light fixture is broken.

Unfortunately, it felt like I was an afterthought the whole time, and I had to call them to find out who was coming or what was happening next. The upside - the tile guys Dan and Norman did AMAZING work, floor looks great.

Admittedly, I care a lot about the details and the end product. Unfortunately, it seemed like I was the only one who did.

we were very pleased with Frank Bromwell's company and their remodel of our bathroom. we live in a very old Victorian house in the City and they were very experienced with old city homes. his crew were great, friendly and very professional. highly recommended.

Bromwell replaced my roof in one day. I have a keen eye for quality and they came through. Reasonably priced, courteous and professional. I'll be using them again for more projects for sure.

Bromwell Construction remodeled my kitchen and I'm more than happy with the finished project. I was surprised at how quickly the work was completed. Frank was very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. Sam and Angel from the office were a pleasure to work with as well.

Bromwell completed a bathroom remodel/renovation for me in 2020. At first I was pleased with the work even though it took weeks longer than promised to complete and they incorrectly installed the tile without the proper fittings for the shower head combo wall mount faucet I purchased for the bathroom. However, it’s only been two years and the internal mechanisms of the shower head have broken causing the shower not to run any warm water. I called Bromwell multiple times to see if they would come out and fix the problem, yet they did not respond to my calls. To me, that is terrible customer service and not a company I want to deal with as they don’t honor their work or attempt to rectify issues. To make it worse, I had a plumbing company come out to evaluate the problem once I realize Bromwell wasn’t going to call me back and they told me my contractor was supposed to install an access panel to the shower’s plumbing in case of issues so the drywall doesn’t need to be damaged to look inside. Yet surprise, surprise, Bromwell did not install an access panel as a worthy and knowledgeable contractor should and would have. In the future, I will not use this company nor would I ever refer anyone to them since they obviously do shotty work and don’t bother to help their former clients when the items they installed quit working.

The work was accomplished just as this part of the country was experiencing warnings regarding the C-Virus. I was so fortunate that you were able to begin and finish in such a timely fashion. The old roof was removed and the clean up afterward was awesome. It was dusk and
yet the detritus was admirably cleaned off the drive and from the yard.
I appreciated the patient and ongoing efforts that Mr. Bromwell made on my behalf with the Insurance Adjuster in charge of this claim.
I also was impressed with the industriousness and unflagging attention of the work crew replacing the roof and its trim work, eave siding, and dormer window repair. Thank you again Bromwell Construction Company!

Bromwell Construction Company was the fourth company we contacted and met with to get an estimate for renovating our kitchen. We knew we wanted them for the project after our first meeting with Mr. Bromwell. We found the entire team, from his office staff to the special contractors, to be professional, informative (keeping us abreast of the different phases of the project so we would know what to expect), respectful of our property and meticulous in their work. The bottom line is they understood what we envisioned for our new kitchen and made it a reality.

Bromwell Construction began working on a mother-in-law-suite/addition for our family home in late December. The work, now 99% finished, is top-notch. Frank Sr. designed the 685 sq. ft. space and worked closely with us to meet our needs. From the beginning, communication was superb. Frank was patient with us, open to changes and discussion, and very customer oriented. He's a detail man, and the craftsmanship employed by he and his workers proves that something functional can also be well-made and beautiful. Each of his employees is friendly, and talented. If you have a long-term project, that's important. Bromwell is a family business, and their honesty, ability to listen, and initiative is second to none. We lucked out when we chose them for this project. We couldn't be happier!

Excellent communication from both Bromwells (Frank Sr and Jr) throughout the process. Honest and fair pricing, made sure the job was done right. Tom and Tony are excellent craftsmen.

From my initial phone call to the end of the project this company is the best. Everyone is knowledgeable, there is involvement from the owners and the workers are friendly and respectful. We completed a major home renovation with ease. They provide a schedule/timeline and make sure you as the property owner know what is going on. We had special requests due to someone who works at home and they were handled without a problem. Bromwell did a great job with my home improvement project, which involved knocking down a load-bearing wall between my dining room and kitchen. The many facets (demo, the new load bearing beam, painting, electrical, HVAC, tile) were all managed and brought together wonderfully and we couldn't be happier with the end product. Other companies refused to even come give an estimate, but Bromwell was ready and willing. They even accommodated a last minute change to the project with no complaint. I highly recommend them and plan on using them again for future projects.

Just had a complete bathroom remodel done - all walls and floor removed and redone.. The estimate was reasonable and well documented. The team that worked on the bathroom was very professional from start to finish. The overall result was great and we were very satisfied. I would certainly use them again without any reservation.

I highly recommend Bromwell Construction. Frank senior and Frank junior are awesome! Their team arrived and completed the job on the exact dates promised. Frank senior did research to find out how to do our project in the best, most cost-effective way. As we were off-site, he kept in touch often to keep us informed how it was progressing and sent pictures. We would use Bromwell again for future projects.

I used Bromwell Construction to build my father an inlaw suite. I was concerned about the time and expense of moving my father from his home to this new environment since he's 92 years old and doesn't adjust to change well. Knowing this, Frank Bromwell told me that he and his crew would treat my dad and this project as if they were doing it for their own family. Everything that Bromwell promised, happened on time, on budget and with great quality. When some changes needed to be made to accommdate a change in my dad's health, the team was able to change, adapt and find ways to stay on budget. The entire crew was respectful of my father, the rest of my family and our home. The experience was so wonderful, I have used Bromwell on two additional projects. We hired Bromwell to build a composite (TimberTech) deck with extended roof over deck, new LP SmartSide and a bay window. I highly recommend this company for your construction project.
