Had a leak and contacted Bristlewood on a word of mouth recommendation. Rick came out quickly, within the week of the initiation, and was very thorough on his examination of our roof. He sat with me to go over his "short" issues video, it was 7 minutes, and discussed our options. Along the way we encountered hurdles but the team at Bristlewood was very communicative and we were able to guide me through the process with ease. We replaced the 20+ year old roof and 4 skylights, which were likely original to the house, 1989. The job was completed in a day and we have been very happy with the results. We also have a chimney job they are working on us with as well. Highly recommended.

The team at Bristlewood went to bat for me when other companies wouldn’t. I was in a losing battle with my insurance over getting my roof replaced. They (my insurance) just wanted to repair the damage, my previous contractor let that be the final word and gave up.

They (my other contractor) ghosted me even. Bristlewood felt different. From walking me through the appraisal process to communication to install, was smooth, easy and I never didn’t know what was going on.

5-10-25 Update; had a few problems after the install. We had a heavy rain and saw some roofing nails in the street from my drain. I picked up about 20 on both sides of the drain in the street. SO glad I or my neighbors didn't get a flat tire. Seems like they forgot to put a barrier from the gutter into the downspout. Was excited about the 'catch all' attachment they attach to your house. They used it in front, but not in the back. Just used some regular tarps in the back. Smashed down some of my plants and I saw one of the guys dropping some fistfuls of roofing granules into my flower bed. Had to clean up a couple piles of that. Also had an area in my new gutter that overflowed into one of my flower beds and ran down in my patio. They did come out and flush out my drains to the street. They did check out my gutter and didn't find anything wrong (leveling, etc.). They were always responsive and helpful to my concerns. I don't know if I just got an inexperienced team??

We had some roof damage from a recent storm. I emailed Bristlewood at around 8:30pm and they responded very quickly (within 5 minutes) letting me know they would have their team at our house the next day. Justin and Matt came out the next day as promised and not only inspected the roof but also repaired it within a few hours. I was impressed with their professionalism, communication, and quality of work. They were fair on price and did not try to pressure me into a new roof replacement like most roofing companies do now at days. It is clear Mr. Chitwood (the owner) has created a customer focused culture at his company. I will be calling Bristlewood on anything roof related going forward. PS. My wife was happy with me that when she got home from work the roof was already being repaired! Thank you!

He repaired the roof and it’s been holding just fine for months. I also had the company finish off a project we never got to (flashing on porch addition) and it looks great! We were very pleased. We had found signs of a roof leak. I filled out a request on their website and had a response within 30 minutes! When they came to our house for an inspection and estimate, they were friendly, respectful and professional. I was expecting an estimate for a full roof replacement but was pleasantly surprised to get a quote for repairs and at what I felt was a very reasonable price.

We thought our leaky roof was much older than it really is. He showed up, was able to pinpoint where he thinks the water was getting in and caulked it. He didn't offer to charge us anything and said to see how it holds up since everything he found lines up to area we see the water damage. I was still expecting that the roof would need replaced but he assured that ours is only 10 years old or so.

Wow, it is refreshing to see honesty like this in today's day in age. My wife works at Licking Heights High School and saw a Bristlewood truck on her way to work, and I am very happy she did because no other company would go this far above and beyond.

He patiently explained roofing options to us and described the way the job would be conducted. And then his crew worked hard and well. We were particularly impressed in the care they took in protecting landscaping and cleaning up afterwards, as they worked tirelessly from dawn to dusk. Ryan then came back the next day and personally walked around with us, examining the job, climbing up to fix a gutter, and taking drone pictures to ensure everything was satisfactory. All of the contact that we had with the actual owners and office and the workers was great. All of Bristlewood contacts had a great relationship with our insurance company adjustor after the early March storm that caused our damage. We were in constant communication if needed and the response was immediate. Showed up when told and any details were reviewed with us as well as our concerns if any. Now had a conversation on to gutters for next update.

They were very prompt getting back to me when I called and also prompt in fixing my downspouts and putting on my gutter guards. I will be using them again in any future needs

Ryan was pleasant and, after a thorough inspection, determined the cause of the leak. Repairs were made to stop water intrusion and he also repaired a loose/broken shingle at one of the vent stacks. My pregnant wife and I put up our house for sale and our roof started to leak and mold was found on the underside of the roof and in the attic and our prospective buyer backed out. Ryan took my phone call on a Saturday and had a crew out to our home within 2 hours to perform some emergency repairs. The work was done quickly and with great quality. Communication from Ryan was clear and his crew even checked and repaired a few other things that might have become problems in the future while they were on the roof. After noticing some shingles were blown off my roof during a spring storm, I contacted Bristlewood Roofing & Remodeling at the recommendation of a co-worker. They came to my house to inspect the roof and then we discussed next steps. I contacted my insurance ( State Farm ) and they sent an inspector out soon after. My roof is just over 20 years old so I was not terribly optimistic. My Bristlewood representative (Curtis) joined them and they inspected my roof together. Curtis guided me through the claim process and eventually State Farm agreed to replace the entire roof ( less my deductible). The roof was replaced a couple weeks later (my wife picked a shingle that was delayed) and the results were fantastic. They use a wonderful protection system that really protected my yard and flower beds well. The new roof looks great and I have peace of mind for years to come. I would highly recommend a phone call to Bristlewood Roofing and Remodeling if you are in need of roof repair / replacement.

Steve and his team did a fantasy job. They persevered with my insurance company for six months. They had my best interests in mind. I can’t say the same for State Farm.

I recently had my roof replaced by Bristlewood Roofing. Monica, the roofer girl, managed the project like a seasoned pro. From our very first conversation, Monica took charge with grace and expertise. She wowed me with professional schematics based on satellite measurements and even lent her keen eye to help me choose the perfect shingles.

But the real magic happened when the roofing crew arrived. The crew showed up bright and early, and they worked harder than a squirrel storing acorns for winter. They had the old roof removed before I could finish my morning coffee. The crew went above and beyond by fixing water-damaged wood and still managed to wrap it all up in a single day. Thanks to their skill and dedication, my roof replacement looks great!

In Feb of 2023 I had parts of my roof blow off due to a wind storm. I called my insurance agent and they provided a few recommendations for contractors. Only one could get me in, but not until late March. We patched it and waited. The contractor came out and gave a quote and told me to ask insurance if it can be replaced. Long story short, I was less than impressed and my insurance wanted a patch test done and I couldn’t get this contractor to call me back. Then another wind storm blew through and I had shingles all over the yard so I just start scrolling through Google looking for a contractor open on Saturday. The only one that stuck out was Bristlewood because of 5 star reviews and it said 24x7. I called and within a few hours had a call back. Insurance only wanted to repair but after talking with Monica, she fought hard to get a full replacement. They came to my house and did videos, report after report on why the full roof should be replaced. In the end, a full roof replacement was approved and I made a great friend and a wonderful company that deserves a medal for all the fighting they did on my behalf. I reached out after the April 1st, 2023 storms where we suffered damage to our roof. My daughter-in-law did some research on the best local roofing companies and I gladly took her advice on who to go with!

From my first interaction with Bristlewood, I encountered Monica who is the epitome of customer focus. You'll not find anyone better at addressing and resolving your needs and questions. She is hands-on, helpful, communicative, knowledgeable about their products and applications, friendly, kind, transparent and funny. She worked tirelessly on my behalf.

Once we were approved by insurance, we moved forward with installation.

The team arrived on time as expected. Worked quickly and seamlessly. They were extremely careful not to leave nails or materials around, and when they were done, all I had to focus on was an amazing, beautiful new roof! They even carefully removed my garden lights and replaced them right back after they were done! Excellent attention to detail! You would hardly even know they were here working an entire day. They addressed all of my concerns, and even brought forward some of their concerns, which they also addressed.

We had water damage in our family room following a big rain storm and called Bristlewood. They sent Ben out right away and he thoroughly inspected our attic and roof. He was very helpful and professional in explaining the problem and different aspects of our roof. He fixed the minor issue free of charge which was very unexpected and appreciated. We had some shingles that blew off during a storm a few weeks back. They came out immediately and put a tarp over the missing shingles and they worked with out insurance company to get the roof replaced. The installers came out early on a Sunday and finished the whole roof in 1 day. Our new roof looks amazing. Monica has been a pleasure to work with. Roy the crew leader has been great and David the installers leader was on point.

I had some siding that needed fixed and they were able to come out and fix it right away. While they were here they also inspected my roof since we just had a real windy weekend. They didn’t find anything wrong but it was good knowing I had peace of mind that the roof was good. No pressure to do anything. They listened to what I was wanting to do. I also had a leak above my bay window which they came out and fixed.
