Design:
Matt was instrumental in helping us to arrive at the right design, making decisions on things like which technologies to deploy, battery system or not, style of installation (roof, rack, or pole mount), and placement. To the design table, he brought pragmatic advice about the state of technologies, was sensitive to our aesthetic, overall power requirements, site placement selection, and was patient with our design decision making. I couldn’t have asked for better coach and counsel to design and ultimately deliver a solar solution that not only is performing above estimates (8% better than originally modeled to date), but actually adds to the aesthetic of the property and that we’re proud to have onsite.

Implementation:
Matt is a perfectionist in every aspect of the install, from the technical implementation, to the placement, to the aesthetic (e.g. color of posts), to the client communication. One thing in particular that stood out was his professional approach to communication with the client. I can’t tell you how many Steamboat contractors show up at your place unannounced at 7:30 in the morning… ‘we’re here’. Yeah, thanks for the heads up. That is not Matt. In each instance where his crew would be onsite, i received a text or a call the afternoon before indicating when precisely they would be onsite, confirming that was ok, and indicating what they would be doing. I was kept in constant awareness of the pace of work and the schedule. The process was crisply managed, the result was superb, and the outcome operated as or better than expected

Support:
Matt has been fantastic in post implementation support. From the spring/fall angle tunings, training me how to monitor the system’s production, to making himself available to answer any and all questions about operations, he’s been there for me. I couldn’t be happier.

Matt provided a detailed solar assessment and proposal for our house and followed up with an excellent installation. We were looking at floor radiant heat options and found that the 6 KW solar array he proposed would offset the load for an electrical system and be less expensive than a hot water system. The estimated generation is accurate to the actual generation I have received.
